    Very good food for a Hotel restaurant. Our server was very amicable and attentive. The live music drifting from the bar area was phenomenal and not too loud. He is super talented and covers a wide variety of music. The cocktails were creative and delicious. Overall a great experience

    The food was absolutely amazing and the service was fantastic. My wife especially enjoyed the dessert. Overall one of the best meals we've ever had. Thank you for a great night

    Our experience was amazing! Our server Dwayne was spectacular! He was absolutely the best and most helpful. He offered us things to do while in Vancouver and customized our breakfast to exactly what we wanted.

    The food was really good, a waitress was nice. We waited a bit long for our food, which is understandable as the restaurant was rather full for lunch. The atmosphere is not so cozy as the restaurant is inside a business hotel.

    The food ist very good, although not outstanding. The atmosphere is not so cozy as the restaurant is integrated in a business hotel. Air conditioning was turned to low, we started freezing while we sat there. But anyway, it was a good experience and we would come back.

    2nd time to visit and it was step mom’s birthday. It was great! Service as well as food was amazing, I had seared sable fish, taste and how it’s cooked was perfect, presentation is beautiful, too. Peach Cheesecake was also surprising as it was actually peace shape and taste good as well. it’s not like I’m foodie and often dine out different restaurants however, I must say Showcase is the best restaurant experience in 2023 so far! 1st time visit was very nice too. Service and food, both were great so I’m glad this 2nd time confirmed we’ll be back again! Also thank you for birthday cake for step mom!

    I came across the dine for $49 menu on open table so I decided to last minute make a reservation and check it out. I didn’t realize it was appetizer and entree or entree or dessert for $49 it seemed like a weird two course deal so I was a bit disappointed it wasn’t appetizer entree and dessert for that price. My friend and I ordered the Granville island seafood stew and we both enjoyed that. For my entree I chose the steelhead salmon. The fish was very moist with a nice crispy skin. My friend ordered the 6 oz grilled strip loin but did the $12 upgrade to 10 oz ribeye. He asked for medium rare and was disappointed it was over cooked. Presentation of the food was nice. Nice open space area but the chairs were all peeling which made the place look a bit grungy.

    Alex was our server and he was fantastic. The food was good too. Nothing amazing about the ambiance, as you are basically in a hotel lobby. I would def recommend checking this out.

    Had a late arrival at the hotel and tried out this restaurant. I was very pleased with the service and the food. Some very tasty meals and great wine selection. Went back the following day to check out a couple of other items

    Food was over cooked kind of like reheated 7-11 leftovers. Given the price we expected it to be a little nicer, didn’t even match the description on the menu. The water was very helpful and attentive but we probably would have been more satisfied if we’d gone to the A&W around the corner. Pretty poor value proposition, even for a hotel restaurant.

    Dwayne is always excellent. The butter chicken I ordered for lunch was too big of a portion for lunch. Maybe the size can be adjusted and the price as well accordingly.

    We went there during the BMO Marathon which brought A LOT of traffic in the area. However, our experience was not at all impacted. We were greeted and seated right away. Our server, Marr, was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of and available if we had any questions. Food was exceptional! A few of us ordered from the a La carte menu and a few ordered from the buffet. It was great to be able to have this option as most buffet restaurants require the entire group to take part of the buffet in order to avail this option. Overall, amazing experience! Great place for dates and even group events. Will definitely be coming back. Thank you Showcase and Marr for an amazing experience.

    Arthur Murray Dance Studios had one of its annual gala that day. I was from the Coquitlam studio and had booked 3 tables for our students. Yet, your manager kept wanting to offer one of our reserved tables to a group of students from another studio that did not have a reservation. It made for a very uncomfortable environment for our group, as the other group got annoyed at us and thought we are not allowing them to eat / drink at the restaurant.

    We enjoyed our time at the restaurant. The food was good and it was not too busy so we had most of the space to enjoy the peace and quiet. However, it would have been helpful if the restaurant mentioned on their website or through the different social media they used to promote the Easter Brunch menu that there was also the buffet option available. Our waitress seemed a little too shy so until we asked her to explain the setup to us, she did not say anything. We felt like we needed to dig for details. Maybe next time the restaurant could add details about the buffet to their website to say: Easter Sunday Brunch with the option of brunch menu or buffet. Thank you :).

    It took the waitress 15 minutes to come and greet us. We had to ask for water refills and she never came to inquire how the meal was. The restaurant was not busy. The food was just ok. At the price, you would expect something much better. She said the pasta was made there but it was not. For over $30 on a pasta and tomato sauce dish, it needs to be made in house. There was an extremely strong smell from some type of cleaner or air freshener that was quite unpleasant. The decor is dated. They had live music which was nice.

    Went here for Valentine’s set menu. The food overall was good, especially for the price compared to high end dining places. Not fantastic, but a good value. For example - the menu includes duck breast. It wasn’t the best duck breast I’ve had, but it was good and the portion size was substantial. Likewise, the octopus was very good and a large portion. Desserts were excellent. This is a hotel restaurant/bar, so it is a bit noisy if you are closer to the bar and entrance. The ambience is okay, given what it is.
