Shorebreak Lodge offers high quality fresh and seasonal menu items, hand crafted cocktails, an eclectic wine list, and exceptional service all in a comfortably chic and welcoming setting.

One of the elements that makes the Shorebreak menu unique is the option to order appetizer size or full size entrees. Ben, owner and creator of the cocktail menu, has been bartending in downtown Rehoboth since 2019 and has won several cocktail awards, most recently First Place at the War at the Shore. The cocktail program at Shorebreak presents carefully crafted cocktails based on classics with unique twists to challenge the guests with new experiences.

Shorebreak has a 12-seat bar, two dining rooms and a covered outdoor patio. Many seating options for a romantic date night, special celebrations, family gatherings and company dinners.

We love this spot and go weekly for great drinks (Ginger Yuzu margarita) and a wide variety of exceptional dishes. Every dish is unique with complex depth of flavors. It is popular so make reservations. Two at the bar is easy and fun, too.

The place had a moody blue (blue light) swanky vibe with white love seats used as some seating. It was a smaller place with close quarters but picture windows facing the street made it feel not as enclosed. There was a back area dining room that morphed into the outdoor dining adjacent to the main dining (with bar) room. The host was attentive and seemed eager to get our table cleaned and us seated. It was quite busy and the chatter from other patrons made it difficult for me and my husband (both hearing challenged) to converse. Karah was our lovely, exuberant wait staff and my husband and I thought it a riot when at each table she would "warn" customers she is bringing out "tap water" now and would fill the dark blue bougie wine glasses then return with a carafe of water. As for the food, our appetizers were thick, sourdough type garlic toast that tasted as if fried in olive oil, garlic and rosemary- satisfyingly chewy and crispy. Then we had blackened Brussels sprouts with small chopped pieces of pork, and the cutest, tiniest figs that reminded of a sweet prune taste but they were firmer and chewy. Bitter, salty and sweet was an interesting and appreciated flavor combo. My husband had muscles in a thick, rich red sauce with chorizo as a flavoring more than main player. I didn't try the mussels though. I had rockfish, panseared and seasoned perfectly- it had a soft, almost dissolve in your mouth consistency and was on a bed of fingerling potatoes and a corn and heirloom tomato with red onion salad- so fresh and tasty with the sweet and tangy tastes in perfect balance! Karah took our picture with a Polaroid (they do it for guests with birthdays or anni's) and used a tiny clothesline to clip it to our piece of lemon curd cheesecake with blueberry coulis- it was creamy and not as dense as traditional cheesecake but def not "no bake!" The blueberry could have had a more forward flavor. All in all, it was an enjoyable and special celebration!

Lovely evening and the food was absolutely fantastic! I had a GoGo Grapefruit and it was perfect in every way ! Our service was excellent and I would highly recommend our server to teach classes on how to be an amazing server :) Thanks for a wonderful evening .

Simply the best dining experience we've had in a very long time. From the stellar service provided by Justin to the award-winning cocktails and outstanding food, the entire evening was nothing short of perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better evening out.

Customer service was excellent. The waiter had very good customer service, however, the portions for the money was small. The Brussel sprouts must not have been washed very good as they had grains of dirt in them. The rockfish was not seasoned very well. Quite surprised the food wasn’t the best on this trip. Probably my last trip, unfortunately.

Shorebreak is our favorite restaurant in Rehoboth Beach. The food is excellent. Rockfish special was delicious. And the Surf & Turf (scallops and beef short ribs over risotto) is always a favorite.

We've been to Shorebreak twice (so far!), and had superb experiences. The owners are active in the operation and promote the highest quality standards across the board. The staff is excellent - attentive and friendly. The food is amazing - the owners, Chef, and team deliver a menu that is full of choices that are fresh, seasonal, and portioned just right (try the Burrata Salad!). The bar menu is second to none - serving multiple award-winning drinks and in-house specialties ("Go Go Grapefruit" is delicious!). The space is atmospheric - with fresh décor, cool music, and energetic lighting. Everything comes together to provide a top-notch, elevated-casual dining experience. We're looking forward to our next visit!
