Shooters Waterfront Ratings and Reviews
Took my Father here as a Special Treat . We had a nice time . For a casual ''Hang '' with Friends , Family etc a great place to go . Food is pretty good , service is good and the place is run right . Being located right on the Intercoastal adds a lot of ambience to the atmosphere . I definitely would recommend Shooter's to family , Friends and Tourists visiting the Ft Lauderdale Area.
Food was great. I had the Cashew crusted Maui over rice and a curry sauce it was very good. My husband liked the steak but not as good as I cook he says to but to be fair I give him filet and this was a rib eye so I'm sure that's the only reason. The outdoor space is nice. Love the complementary valet.
great ambiance, heat lamps were helpful since it was a little chilly. first they said they could make a lobster roll, then 30 minutes later, they said they ran out of rolls. but then 5 minutes later, they were able to find a roll. the problem is they made everyone else's food and clearly it sat under heat lamps until a roll was found. so the rest of the groups food came out cold. disappointed. definitely overpriced and you're clearly paying for the ambiance.
Very nice dockside outdoor seating, great for casual dining. Food and service were outstanding and the light live music was great background. Easy to have conversations and watch boats coming down the waterway. Optional Valet parking is very efficient and professional.
It was my wife's birthday. I made reservations and told them that when I made the reservations.
When we got there the hostess knew I had made special arraignments for her birthday but they never bothered to let the servers know. The server was new and had a trainer with her, but the trainer had only been there a few months as well. We brought a special bottle of wine for the occasion. We gave it to the new server who was never trained on how to open a bottle of wine. She completely ripped off the foil before attempting to open the bottle. Pulling the cork she almost spilled the bottle. Food was ok, but my wife wanted a Irish Coffee after dinner. I guess the bartender had never made one before so what she got was a shot of whiskey in a cup of coffee! Ok. Just a lack of experience on the whole dining night out.
I had high hopes for this place only to be let down by a rude hostess. We arrived for our reservation 20 minutes early and were told it would be a 20 minute wait for outside seating. After fourty minutes of waiting we ask for an update to be told it would be another forty minutes, mind you she didn't look at us the whole time not very friendly. Why not tell us that from the get go it would be a long wait. So we decide to sit inside and although the waiter took a while to get to us the service was fine. Turns out the hostess didn't even utilize our reservation as I got an email stating I'd miss the reservation.
Kenza was amazing on Sunday during brunch. My boyfriend’s parents were in town for the Boat Show and I wanted to make sure we all had an a great meal before walking around all day. She timed the appetizers and entrees perfectly and kept the mimosas coming. We couldn’t have had any one better to make our experience there as great as it was. Thank you!
Came back again this time to pre-celebrate my Birthday. I had ANTHONY and JOYEL as my bar servers and again a total amazing service. I had crab and the lobster benedicts very delicious meal, fresh and served quickly. The mimosas were flowing and everything was A-OK.
So well that we came back Sunday night to really celebrate my Birthday. Sat at the Tiki Bar and had JOYEL and WHITNEY as my servers, excellent service. had the Cajun shrimp pasta and raw oysters, delicious.
As I was passing the main bar ANTHONY and FRANKIE gave me a birthday shot out which made my birthday even more special.
So again thank you so much for a very amazing birthday weekend experience. Gratefully appreciated :)
My food came out cold. I sent it back and it came back warm, not hot. The waiter was great and immediately obtained another meal for me but that meal did not come out fresh. I didnt bother sending it back a second time. Overall, the experience was fair.
Shooters is a must if you've ever come to Fort Lauderdale Florida you must try Shooters their food is excellent their service is excellent they could use a little bit of work on check-in especially if you made a reservation it takes a little bit longer than I anticipated however everything else was excellent so it made up for it
Had dinner at bar. Frankie and Eddie we're awesome servers. Food was fresh and delicious, and served fast.
We even had a bday cake slice with candles. Made friends with new server Anthony, who poured our bday shots.
Enjoyed the vibe so much we came back next day for brunch and requested to sit in Anthony's station. Again awesome service at the back tiki bar with Anthony, Whitney and Mikey. The mimosas were flowing and brunch a la carte delicious and fresh.
Valet service was fast and courteous.
The entrance is beautiful. Everything else is terrible. When we arrived at the restaurant, they could not find our reservation. They sat us in the middle of the hallway, no privacy , people was walking all over our table, when we ask to be seated next to the window, the manager told us you have to go check with the greeter because tonight is a busy night, then we ask the waitress, and he was very nice and move us closer to the window. I made a special request on my reservation that it was my husband birth, when I got there I told the waitress and the greeter agin it was my husband birthday, and that I wanted them to wrote happy birthday on the desert, that didn’t happen. Place was loud, extremely crowded, food was horrible.would not recommend this place for romantic dinner. If you looking for a hooked up this is the place!!! Lastly our waitress was nice!
