   Had reservation. Waited in line to check in to be told they'd call once ready for us. When called we were told to stand back in line at the hostess stand which the line was out the door. Poor impolite communication at hostess stand. Fun place though with good food. Front desk process needs improvement.

    Coconut shrimp was unappealing and lacked flavor. The roasted chicken was just okay but potatoes and carrots were undercooked. I don’t send food back…I just don’t return.

    First time we go for lunch, usually for dinner or happy hour. The food was excellent as usual, service 5 *. Our friends from Naples were happy with the view of so many boats from the dock.

    Jess was our server and she was perfect. We three hadn’t seen each other in one year and she was content to let us take a long while before choosing our order (letting us talk away). The food is wonderful - I’ve never been disappointed. Shooter’s is my Go To place in Fort Lauderdale (I live in Boynton Beach).

    We sat outside. Beautiful view and very entertaining watching the boats as they sailed through. There’s also a connection to the water taxi that docks right near the restaurant. Great service and menu variety as well. We had the blackened mahi mahi and poke tuna which were both excellent.

    Dinner was very good. Service and food very good. Shooters is a good place. My problem is that we sat outside which we wanted. Outside tables and chairs have too many bird droppings on them. We needed to ask the staff to clean off the tables and chairs. We want to sit outside. Too many bird droppings on the outside tables. They have a bird problem at the outside tables.

    We were advised to try the crab claws, and had one each, they were very expensive for hardly any meat. Enough for one tiny cracker. There wasn't much Tuna in the Sushi it was mainly rice.

    The entrees were large servings and pretty good (no complaints), but the dessert was spectacular!! I have never tasted a key lime pie so delicious in my life. My husband and I split it. I will return to just eat the key lime pie!!! It is very unique.

    Our server Thiago was one of best servers I’ve had at Shooters. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. Our food was simply great aside from one appetizer that came out cold….not a deal breaker at all. I should also comment on the doggy menu, a true treat for the pups!

    Our only problem was with the hostess making us wait after I checked in 5 minutes early for my reservation and there were clearly open tables. Finally a wait staff came by, grabbed us and seated us at his table and he was great. Ten minutes after that, the hostess called me looking for me to be seated! Hostess staff can be a little better. They do tend to make people wait even with reservations? Food was outstanding as always.

    Service was extremely slow . One of us had the buffet and three others ordered off the menu. I ordered the eggs Benedict and sent it back. The eggs were cold and overdone. After waiting about 30-40 min for their arrival. The waiter replaced with skillet eggs and empanada. The other dish, shrimp poor boy was good. Although property is nice as is the view, service is very slow, not attentive. Waiter was only concerned with filling alcohol drinks not refilling others. Would not return
