The Secret Garden portion of Shoe's is fantastic for a nice breezy day. The service was friendly and efficient. The fries and chicken salad were great!
We had a delightful lunch of delicious food. The servers are very pleasant and earnest.
First time sitting in the Secret Garden. What a lovely relaxing place to enjoy an afternoon lunch. The Spicy Spring Salad was yummy and spicy! I will definitely be back. Make sure to make a reservation for the garden as it fills up fast!!
We have eaten here twice. Love the Brussel spout salad as well as the sandwiches and other salads. The Secret Garden has wonderful ambiance if the weather is nice. Indoors is quaint as well. Service staff was very attentive and helpful. Definitely recommend.
We enjoyed yet another wonderful Sunday brunch at one of our favorite places. Great food, good prices, excellent service, and a delightful patio setting.
Great service, interesting menu, cool place. The hoisin brussel sprouts were extra memorable.
Have been a few times for breakfast, brunch, afternoon coffee etc...but this was the first time for dinner. And it was very disappointing. Service was very slow. The food, when it arrived, was in very small portions and not particularly tasty. The meatball bolognese was overpowered with spice rather than flavour. $20 for a small bowl of utilitarian pasta is not good value. Several tables around us were complaining about delays. Would go back for breakfast/brunch or coffee...but not for dinner
Great fun outdoor location/wonderful service/food was excellent. We will be back...
Great meal at Shoe's, great service, and a cute little cafe.
Super cute patio and great service.
Sadly it rained and the umbrella didn’t cover a table of 4. Food and service was wonderful.
Great place! Outdoor patio in the back is wonderful, and the food, beverages, and service are excellent.
This is a regular Sunday brunch stop for us. Would 1000% recommend.
Pleasant outdoor brunch.
We sat in the Secret garden and loved it! So nice, spacious, and refreshing. Service was very good. We were looking forward to the Cheesy carmelized onion & mushroom dip but they were out of it. The brussel sprouts & Chimchirri burger were the best! Nice selection of beers, wines & mimosas cocktails.
Our waitress was very attentive, others helped as well.
The food was good, many choices.
Sat outside, great food, great service, and price.
The server was so attentive, engaged and supportive as we lingered till closing. The food was very good. For lunch we had the caprese salad and then avocado toast. Choc cake and pecan pie with cappuccinos for dessert. It was pleasant sitting outdoors and the umbrella over the table protected us and gave us shade.
Love the outdoor space so much! The food was great and the ambience is awesome.
Great experience overall! Love the champagne flight for brunch.
We frequent often but noticed that people who were seated after us and at the same time as us were getting their food before us. We waited a long time this past Sunday for our food and our waitress to ask us for our food order. They weren’t really busy at the moment so not sure what was going on. Our breakfast potatoes were bland and the sausage didn’t have much taste to them either. A little disappointing.
Very cute and quaint restaurant for brunch. We really enjoyed our visit.
Great dinner, great service, great experience!!
We are outside in the charming “Secret Garden”. The salmon and arugula salad with butternut squash was amazing. Will definitely go there again when in Leesburg
I was looking for a dog friendly restaurant as I am dog sitting a clingy, adorable quarantine puppy. Shoes’s cup and cork was one of the suggestions on Google. Super easy to find and lots of parking options nearby. Completely charming from the outside and than you walk down an alley straight from a fairy tale into the outdoor seating patio. The weekend brunch menu had so many delicious options. My friend and I chose to start with the strawberry rose mimosas. So fresh and delicious. We had a starter of basil and curry French fries which were the most unique and inventive and yummy food. Still dreaming of them. I chose the eggs Benedict with sausage gravy with biscuit and hollandaise. It was decadent and fabulous. Service was attentive and the waitress was very personable.
I can’t wait to return to go through the entire menu! Highly recommend
LOVED our server and everything we ordered was delicious.
The whole family loved the breakfast. We plan to return for both breakfast and dinner. Excellent experience all around.
Shoe's Secret Garden never disappoints. Attentive service, excellent food and a very relaxing atmosphere. Perfect.
It’s the little things that matter, which could have made all the difference from the chef and kitchen this evening - otherwise the service and outdoor garden dining were delightful. Based on the menu, I was expecting a savory farm to table dinner. Instead, the Brussels sprouts with arugula salad to which I added “roasted salmon” at the server’s suggestion was very unelegantly presented with what tasted like pre-frozen over-cooked dried-out salmon with salty “curry” seasoning rub. It’s pretty hard to ruin salmon. I would suggest a less salty, more herbal seasoning and including some fresh grated Parmesan and balsamic vinaigrette to top things off. Sone fresh bread with olive oil on the side would have also been nice. The wine selection and dessert were quite good.
The outdoor cafe is a great spot. The staff is incredibly friendly. And the food is great
Wonderful food and service! Highly recommend going here
We are so appreciative and couldn't have been more pleased with our entire "Day After the Wedding' brunch experience at Shoe's. Everyone involved (from Lara and Sharon making sure our long distance details were met, to servers Enrique, Gabriella, and others) made this a memorable experience for all of our guests. The Bocce Court was the perfect sunny and cool atmosphere we were hoping for so our friends who traveled to VA for our daughter's wedding were able to continue their conversations and celebrate with us.
Had a wonderful time celebrating a family birthday and will continue to come back.
Our new go-to brunch spot!!!
Fun weekday breakfast for my nieces 21st bday! I was disappointed though as I'd discussed with someone via Facebook that instead of bday dessert perhaps a free drink coffee or mimosa. While the staff was aware we were there for a bday, nobody made them aware of the free beverage versus dessert. But food & mimosas were tasty and server very nice.
Meghan was an amazing server! A great lunch, highly recommend.
Great experience. The only issue was I had to get up and look for a server after we were seated.
Wonderful spot to dine! We ate in the secret garden and loved it! Food is so delicious and great prices too. We will absolutely be back!
