Always fun. The more people the more appetizers which make the meal
Nice to try a variety of hot and cold appetizers
We’ve eaten at Shishka a number of times and have never been disappointed. Tucked away on a shopping mall, an unexpected delight. Everything served is very fresh and well presented. A wonderful assortment of aromas and tastes. Highly recommended.
The place is great. The Lebanese food they serve is excellent!
Poor service - OK food
Dining in the aisle of a mall doesn’t provide the best atmosphere but the food was great and the belly dancing was fun
The service was prompt and friendly. The food is very good and authentic. Shawarma sandwiches are only served until 5 pm in the restaurant and only by take out afterwards. Highly recommend
Food was ok, veggies were not cooked, they said they were steamed, but weren't. Belly dancer was entertaining.
I have been to Shishka several times. It is a great casual and local dining spot.
This is a Lebanese restaurant so in addition to their authentic Lebanese food, there are many
other Middle Eastern options available on the menu.
The restaurant is quite small and sits in a very hard to find place in what is now a defunct
mall on Copans & Federal Hwy. However, if you find it once, I'm sure you'll go there time and time again.
Good food, good value, friendly atmosphere
Go to restaurant
Reasonably priced
Not a very good Lebanese restaurant with little ambience inside a mall.
The food (chicken shwarma) was dry with no sauce except a version of the Greek skordalia - potato garlic spread. The salad was good and fresh and the french fries were the best of the hot food - some small comfort.
Great service very helpful server. His suggestions were excellent food was delicious and great spices. Recommend the humus and shish kebab
The food is fantastic. Wife had vegetarian platter and I had beef shawarma. The babaganouj was the best I have EVER had anywhere. Taboule salad was very fresh. Shawarma was excellent, not salty or over seasoned. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Place was quiet and not busy but I attribute that to the time and date we went. 5pm on Monday, January 2nd. We will make the drive from Delray Beach again!
great food and service, located in outside food court of shopping mall; ambiance not great.
Good food Nice people. Our second visit, this time on a Monday night. It was uncrowded and quiet, unlike our Saturday night visit, when the belly dancing happened.
Good food. Excellent service.
Low end center. Lousy interior.(Hear they are moving soon.)
Need to update ambiance to modern-not even close.
A little pricey considering the above.
Good luck. Will visit new location.
Authentic Lebanese Food. No additives & honest food. Good service. Nice Lebanese wines. Ont son Nice Wine and Water glasses.
WE Will return.
The food is awesome but the service was so slow we had to get up to find the waiter. They need to step up the service.
Service was very good but food was so so. The babaganoush was a little too garlicky for my taste and the pita was thin and tasteless. I ordered the chicken skewers. There was too much and it was very dry. In spite of the good ratings on line from a number of sources, I would not recommend this restaurant.
This is our second time that we went to Shishka & food was just as good. This time we ordered appetizers & for dinner we had the Okra stew....Fantastic.
We also ordered the chicken Shishka ( very lemon garlic flavor).
We couldn't resist the Baklava. It was one of the best we've ever had & the mint tea was the perfect comliment to our last sweet bite. I highly recommend.
Food and service was fine. The very pretty and energetic dancer was an unexpected plus. She entertained the crowd tirelessly. There was a birthday party at one of the tables outside (in the middle of the mall). Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
The food was incredible. The Baba ganoosh was delicious & went very well with the complimentary condiments. The chicken shawerma was all white meat & very good. Shish tawook was amazing. I noticed other diners having a dish called shishka chichen. Can't wait to go back & have that. They were out of kenaffeh so we ordered the Baklava. I have to say it was one of the best I've ever had & the tea with mint was a wonderful finish to our amazing dinner. Highly recommend Shishka. Thumps up.
This was the second time we have dined at shishka. The first time was a wonderful experience. This time it was horrible. It was because of the waitress. She brought our entrees out immediately after serving us our appetizers and on a wednesday we were the only couple eating inside so it wasnt that they needed to push us out. We sent back the food and it sat under a heat lamp for 20 minutes. When it arrived at the table it was cold. I should have asked for a new order of food, but instead they took it back and heated up the food. At this point when we got the food the meat was totally tough and dried out since it was cooked twice. For $18 an entree of a little portion of meat, a small ball of white rice and 2 pieces of cauliflower i should have sent it back. Will definitely think twice about going back there or perhaps i need to provide step by step instructions to the waitress to space out our food. We are not in a hurry we are there to dine out and enjoy.
While the location in a storefront within Pompano Citi Centre isn't too inviting once you enter Shiska Lebonese Grill you are made to feel completely at home. The owner made us feel welcome and our server was amazing. The food was delicious and it was fun trying wine from Lebonon. Always good to drink wine from the same country as the food. Just seems to taste better. It is also a hooka bar and belly dancing on the weekend. I am sure the place is a blast on Saturday nights. Don't be put off by the location this place is great!
Service was exceptional! Food was unbelievable! One of those unbelievable finds will definitely be going back!
With a significant Vegetarian option as well as excellent food Shiska is a perfect place for a large family gathering. The food is excellent, the service professional and the wine list long. Its a store front space with outdoor seating at a mall but they manage to put out some very good food. The only negative for some would be that there is Hooka available in the outdoor area so there can be some smoke- We have been back and have enjoyed it both ties
At first I was scared. Being from New York, I'm immediately turned off to any restaurant in a strip center. So I bit my tongue and sat down. Our waitress was spectacular, by the end of the night I wanted to take her home! The food was so fresh and tasty I didn't want to stop! Not only would I recommend this place, but chances are you'll find me sitting at a table there!
Food is delicious and prepared fresh. We have been eating at Shishka's for a number of years and it is always consistent. Staff is friendly and a terrific belly dancer on Saturday night. Make reservations!
We have been regular customers for 4 years and have been pleased each and every time. Customers, staff, and food are friendly. Our food favorites are lsmb shish k as bob, veggie platter, and (best of all) the kibbee niyeah. Food is always hot and prepared to order. We have brought family and friends from all over and everyone has been more thsn satisfied. Saturday night with the belly dancers can't be missed!
The food isn't that authentic Lebanese. I think the chef is Syrian. Not a bad option though for something different. The tabouli was dry and had no flavor.
excellent service and great find! We were a large group....they were extremely accommodating!
Shishka's food is consistently delicious. It's wait staff is helpful and pleasant and they are always pleased to explained to a middle eastern food neophyte exactly what goes into each dish. The restaurant is located in a mall, so lacks the charm found in some other locations, but it is always clean and tastefully done.
lots of fun food to try and share...I think they have a belly dancer on Sat. nights.
As a Lebanese reviewer whois very picky when it comes to Lebanese food, I give Shishka a 4 & 1/2 stars.
Service was so amazing by our server, she explained everything perfectly and went out of her way to help us.
Food was great. The kibbeh, grills, dips,...were delicious. Even the Tabbouleh was almost a home quality for a restaurant.
It is located outside of a mall and it was interesting to have dinner outside while everything is closed around you. Very quite except for the restaurant clients chats with their shishas/hookahs
This is my favorite restaurant in Pompano. So well hidden, its easy to miss!
Service was excellent, up there with the best I have ever received. Our meals were very good and priced right.
The food was great and the service was outstanding. Our waiter was the best. Always making sure we were happy.
Undoubtedly, the best Lebanese food in the County. I tried many other places, and with Middle Eastern blood, I can attest that this place really has it all.
I had open table reservation and they said they did not take open table reservations on the weekends, but I had one anyway- hence this request. . They seated us outside, but had a huge private party outside, we waited over an hour for our food. It make matters worse the table next to us got there food before us, but they seemed to know the owners or managers. I made this reservation two weeks in advance to be sure to have a good table. It will be off our list for awhile.
This is a fav or a friend of mine and she was so excited for me to try it out. We think they were having an off night. It was a Monday and it was MLK day. We were one of maybe 3 tables in the entire place. The food was very disappointing. We both had the shwarma salad. I asked if they could do shrimp instead of meat or chicken and then quoted me $28!!! $4 more than the shrimp dinner! I opted for the chicken and when our meal was brought out, she brough two plates of meat. When we told her the mistake, the server argued and insisted that we had said meat. When I finally got my meal, we both found our salads to be overly dressed with Sumac. I also didn't like that the pita came in plastic bags and were obviously nuked.
I do not know many people who want to have Lebanese food.
