Went for early evening birthday dinner celebration. Only thing missing was birthday dessert with waiters singing Happy Birthday!
Me and my family’s favorite spot. We’d choose this over Benihana’s any day!
Food was really good, our waiter Steven was great
I enjoyed myself, it was my husband and I second time here.
Definitely would recommend.
LOVE COMING HERE! This place never disappoints! The food is amazing and the staff is sweet.
I’ve been here before n the quality is always the same. Great food, a fun time and good service.
Noisy, and filled with children. Food not good at all. Service, not good at all. getting in and out of restaurant difficult. Would never do this place again, and I had a reservation. Said reservation was not acknowledged. Took 20 minutes to get seated. Inexperienced staff had no clue.
The restaurant service and food was great. The only thing that was annoying that I had a reservation at 8:15 PM but wasn’t seated until around 9:15 PM - 9:30 PM. Besides that, everything went well.
Excellent chef!!! Very funny and friendly staff. The food is delicious as always. The coupon really made our decision on where to dine.
Absolutely delicious onion soup, steak and shrimp. The portions are perfect for a filling meal. The service is terrific, and the atmosphere is lovely and relaxing.
It has been a fun and great experience! I will definitely come back! The food was exceptional!
had all you can eat sushi, good selection and really great service and absolutely yummy
Always a pleasure to visit Shiros but on New Year's Eve which was one of the coldest days of the year their heating system was not working at all. Completely off. We were informed of this prior to our visit which we thought would not be a problem but it was a bit unpleasant. They only offered a free round of drinks which wasn't really beneficial to my family being that we didn't drink any alchohol.
This was for a birthday occasion. Been here several times and the food as well as the service is always excellent
It was an unforgettable experience. I Ioved it from the beginning until the end: the performance of the chef’s skills was simply outstanding; and the food was fresh and well prepared. It was like a “Broadway show” of fine cuisine.
Nice atmosphere, excellent service. Food was good, a little pricey
We always go to this particular location cause it is a nice friendly atmosphere and the food is great, also the service is good. This time we went on 12/16 to celebrate my daughter’s eight bday cause she loves this place so we decided to have dinner, she was so happy when the staff sung her happy bday it made her feel so special. ❤️😍🎉🎈
The staff make this place. They are so lovely and fun. You've got to love hibachi or you're going to miss out. It's upstairs at the open air mall. Super easy to get in and seated. It's not a high end dining experience, but the food was tasty. Best of all...catching the chef-launched flying rice ball in your mouth 😆
Always a great time when we eat here. We've been coming for years.
Love the food the staff are very friendly place is clean
This was our first time eating here and we came to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. The staff was very friendly and the space itself was nice. The food was just okay for us and really not worth the price. It was nothing out of this world... I don’t think we’ll be back honestly.
On behalf of my family and I, I want to thank you all for your great service and accommodations to assure my twins 21st bday was a success. We truly enjoy the environment, food, and drinks... but most importantly the great customer service we received... thank you so much
Went for Veteran's Day celebration and we had a great time!
Always amazing food. Never ever have complaints
Great food. Amazing hibachi chef. Friendly staff.
Personal and food perfect, friendly, the place is big and goodnto eat outside in summer time!!!!
Shiro of Japan can never fail you. The food is always so amazing & the entertainment is fun! For the amount of money you're paying, you get a load of food! I recommend this place to everyone
Great place!!! Food was good, the chef was great. Came for a birthday dinner , i suggest you bring your own group of 8 ppl because the people that sat with us were not fun AT ALL, but we made our side fun and worth wild.
We were greeted by a friendly young man upon entering the Shiro of Japan Restaurant at The Shops @ Atlas Park in Queens, NY and seated immediately. The staff and chef were all very attentive to the needs of all the people at our hibachi table. The prices were not cheap but the food was good. I felt that an extra charge of $4.95 for "fried rice", a small bowl of white rice with an egg, onions and soy sauce was a bit much.
The food was really good, I enjoyed my time there. I would go back again. The only thing that annoyed me is when we first sat down at our server was practically stalking my husband and I to take our order.
This was our first time here and it kind of rubbed me the wrong way, but after I told the server to give us a few minutes it was good experience.
This was my third time visiting this establishment. The food is pretty good, but when you go to a restaurant like this it's to experience the preparation of the food. The waiter was very pleasant and came around to check on us at perfect intervals. The chef left something be desired. He got annoyed with the waiter about something and rebuked him in front the table and proceeded to be very short with everyone. It was my son's first time, while he enjoyed it, I was disappointed with the chef. Other than that issue everything else was good and I wouldn't let that one chef prevent me from visiting again!
A nice restaurant. The service was great. Good for a date. The chef was entertaining as well.
Love coming here! The service is always great and the food is amazing. My friends and I have our monthly get together at this place. Might be a little pricey, but it's worth it.
It was extremely over priced for sushi. Their cut is obviously not up to par and the freshness was a bit less then average. The hibachi was ok nothing special over all this place is trying to pass for something that doesnt equate to price. Your better off at Sakura for sushi and fried rice and beef.
A fun place for Japanese hibachi, although it is a little pricey. We enjoyed our meal in spite of few little annoyances. The restaurant is on the noisy side, and some of our silverware was not terribly clean and had to be changed. The service is attentive but certainly not elegant. Also there is no real wine menu so we stuck to beer, which was good.
First time at the restaurant and we had so much fun. The chef was so nice and friendly.... made jokes with the kids .
Can't wait to go back
Went for Father's Day. The Holiday Menu is way over priced and the food was just okay. Nothing special. The chef was great and the restaurant was fairly clean. The bathrooms needed to be cleaned up as there was toilet paper on the floors of all the stalls.
It was great
The experience was excellent . We go there alot and it's always perfect. From walking in the door to leaving. The hosts are wonderful by greeting us immediately, then our server was impeccable as always. She never misses anything from down to the level of water in our cups. She is always very respectful and curtious. There is no other way to explain shiro of Japan but I know whenever we want a perfect lunch or dinner we know exactly where to go and that's shiro of Japan
Shiro's is never disappoints! Had a great time with my Goddaughter. Took her there for her 16th bday. She enjoyed the food and presentation. The food was tasty and the cocktails are always awesome. Service is always great!
Had a great time with another parent and our children 2 teenagers & a 9yr old! Atmosphere is light & friendly! Service was awesome! The staff was very attentive to us and we had a great time! Not to mention the food was delightful!
