My friends and I frequently go there for dinner, but this was for lunch and it was great.

The food and service is always excellent and it is a place where you can actually have a conversation.

AS always, our visit with Sheila's Place was excellent. We always enjoy eating here with our friends and with our family.

Why go to a wine bar? For the wine of course. And when you put yourself in Peter’s hands, tell him what you like to drink, admit that you may want something different and tell him how much you want to spend he will bring some bottles to the table and tell you all about the wine.

In my case we wound up with a 2005 gran riserva rioja that was a gem. It perfectly paired with a ribeye that came out en pointe , red not blue rare to medium rare with flash fried broccolini and a truffled wine sauce.

This is a family business and they are dedicated to providing the best service, wine and food. Put yourself in their hands and enjoy dining out

I love it cause it’s quite. The food is always good and not over priced. The only complaint would be it’s too dark inside to read the menu, but we get around that with our cell phone flashlights.

Must start off with Bruschetta, always delicious! This time I tried something different, the Wild Boar Shank and it did not disappoint. I'm not a red wine drinker but the Belle Glos is nice & mild. Looking forward to a return visit.

We've heard about Sheila's for some time and finally decided to try it, especially since we're locals. The atmosphere and decor are exactly what you'd expect, which is warm and inviting. Though this was a celebratory event (and was indicated in our reservation), it wasn't mentioned, much less acknowledged. The food was excellent (though the caesar salad was really dry), and the service was fine. Our waiter was attentive, but when it came to dessert, we had to ask the busboy for a menu. As far as the entertainment, 2 couples (1 table) were seated thisclose to the table next to ours and couldn't "top" each enough. I was almost waiting for this clown to announce he had actually walked on the moon! It was pretty hilarious and quite entertaining for us to say the least. But what I wondered is "WHY" (with all of the available space) they were seated-right-next-to-us.

If you are looking for a delicious Bruschetta, this is the place to go! Every thing was tasty, good and great service! (I just prefer the Butter Cake at Larson's!)

We've been here before but it's been a couple of years and it was as great as we remembered it. We brought our best friends who have never been there and they raved about it as well. Can't wait to go again! Excellent ambiance, service and food.

Absolutely the best steak in town! The owners are local, the food is local and the wine selection is amazing. Ask about Ivan (the executive chef and the owner's son), it's the story of a real food prodigy.

I've been eating at Sheila's for many years and am never disappointed. The food is always great, they have a HUGE wine selection, and the people who work there have been there forever, so it's always nice to see familiar faces and enjoy the attentive service. I have some food limitations, so their wonderful chef made adjustments so that my meal wasn't lacking anything. I had the duck breast and it was delish! I was there with a party of 8 celebrating a birthday and everyone loved their food. Several hadn't been there before, so I was happy to introduce them to this little gem in Camarillo. Highly recommend!

Really fantastic food - the best kitchen I've found east of LA. Great taste combinations, ingredients, and attractive plating. Great wine list. Fantastic service. Yeah, lots of superlatives. I was impressed. The wild scallops with forbidden rice were superb.

Thank goodness Sheila's was recommended to us by a local! Based upon the name, I expected a typical bar. Beyond surprised were we to see an enviable wine collection and culinary creations to match! We ordered several small plates along with an entree - each was spectacular. Should we find ourselves in Camarillo anywhere close to dinner time, we'll definitely dine again at Sheila's.

Shelia's is one of the best restaurants Ventura County has to offer and I'm thrilled it is in my backyard. Always enjoy eating there. The owners are wonderful, the staff is exceptional, the food and wine is delicious.

Great ambiance, mediocre food and service for the price. They do have a good wine selection but no beer on tap (fine for a wine bar). We will not go back.

Celebrated my birthday! Had a wonderful dinner with a great wine we had never tried before. Could hear each other at the table without needing to yell. Service was also fantastic!
