I passed my LSW exam and my parents and boyfriend went out to celebrate. Amazing food and service

Shaw's is always on point. I know it's cold in Chicago, but wish the indoor tent could be warmer. I've seen other indoor tents with better insulation.

Food was great as usual

Our server was fanatics. The food was even better. It was nice to be able to go here with their heated outdoor patio.

We eat the same thing every time we come, fried shrimp and the parmesan crusted haddock. Consistently delicious!! The bread is so good, had 3 rolls before dinner. We are never disappointed. The service is always great, young man who waited on us was exceptionally friendly. Always a pleasure!!!

As always GREAT seafood. A little pricey but best fresh seafood around!

Well spaced for social distancing.

Host was very impolite. Dining under the tent was not at a comfortable temperature. I’m a gold member and I love LEYE, but this visit was way below the norm.

This place has always been one of my favorite places, Great food , Drinks and service. Cant wait until the inside opens up.

Shaw's is always fantastic food and service! The heated outdoor patio is a bit cool, but they do their best to accommodate, even provide heated blankets! This is a great way to get out during COVID times.

Great evening dinner despite it being a little chilly in the tent. Everyone was very hospitable, even brought us warm blankets. We always enjoy our meals at Shaws!

The Ora King salmon was out of this world. Fabulous dish! And service was excellent as always. Marlen is the best!

SHAWS has always been a favorite for many years. Love the Schaumburg location! I was so happy to see that they still were able to get the Nantucket scallops this year. The Nantucket’s are only available for a few weeks during the year & I was thrilled that they were back. Everything that we ordered for the table was very good. No complaints whatsoever. Portion sizes are good - there are always leftovers to enjoy the next day.
I’m so happy that they have 2 outdoor areas open. We were able to sit in the Tokyo Pub covered outdoor area, which had already existed prior to COVID, so it was not a “make shift” outdoor area. Love! Will be back

The food was fine but the service was terrible. The waiter came to our table twice, first to take our order and then for the check. He did not check to see if our food was ok, if we needed anything else, or even if we wanted coffee or dessert. He was extremely nice and friendly to his other tables but since we are a younger colored couple, we were treated subpar. This is the first time I have ever been treated like this is the Schaumburg/Hoffman Estates area and will never return. The downtown Chicago location is far superior especially regarding their customer service.

A table of 5 adults and 1 toddler were near us. The toddler screamed high pitch screams all the way until we left.
Waitress was busy and after our food was delivered she forgot about us.
Food was excellent!!

Between the 3 of us, we had mussels, scallops, walleye, haddock and salmon. Everything was cooked perfectly. All the accompaniments with the entrees were paired very well. The raspberry mojito and Gin-Gin cocktails were excellent. The steady stream of good blues tunes contributed to a very enjoyable evening. Can’t wait to go back.

The service and food were excellent as always!

Server was rude. Patio was cold. Red wine served in a small wine glass. Food mediocre.

The food was great as always. The outdoor patio was fine. After all when else other than covid would you eat outside in December? So try it! It is a great way to support the restaurant and get out of the house.

They offer a great lunch special 3 courses for $24. Loved the fish tacos.

Everything was so good!
We had a good spot in the tent. (Right in the middle where the heat was blowing through.) Our waiter was very thorough. There is a covid 19 charge... don’t complain about it, the wait staff didn’t put it there. On a 180.00 bill it was 6 and change... suck it up and get these restaurants back in business!

we went for lunch. I had the Crab cake BLT which was awesome. My wife had the seafood salad which she really enjoyed. Big pieces of Lobster, shrimp, and crab in it.

Shaw’s is a Christmas Eve tradition for our family and this year we were so incredibly disappointed. Our server was absolutely awful!!!! The lack of service completely ruined the entire night.

The food and service were great. However, the “tent” was freezing. Should of known when they were handing out heated blankets something as up. Love the place but Until they open don’t bother. Too cold out there.

Waiter brought 4 bread rolls and said that they didn’t have any more as they were closing. Later saw her bring more rolls to another table.

We love Shaw’s but a lot of times whoever brings the oysters can’t tell you which ones are which. Not every time, but just mentioning since that’s why we come. And the crab of course! Thank you

Sad to see such a beautiful restaurant hardy have any tables open. However we got to enjoy even though we were in a tent. Food is amazing!!

The ambience is nice tho loud background, 3 of us had overcooked filet mignon. Drinks are good. Service is good.

We love going to Shaws and we haven’t been in awhile. We sat down and our waitress came over with water and then we waited awhile for drinks and then waited even longer for dinner. We don’t mind waiting but our waitress was not friendly or personable at all and she barely even came to our table. Our steaks weren’t that great either. We were pretty bummed about our meal and our experience.

Wonderful as always! We were given heated blankets that made the outdoor heated tent even better!

My chowder was lukewarm and my salad was limp. But, these are difficult times.
The service was great.
