   Was really looking forward to a good seafood meal, especially crab. I figured it was worth the extra money, as I know it is expensive. Big disappointment. Crab is frozen and wasn't properly thawed when it came to table. Also was of very poor quality. Honestly, my daughters had the better choice, they both ordered steaks!

   The crab cake appetizer was delicious and the soft shell main course was outstanding. And the key lime lime pie….:yummmmm! And the bubbly moscato please do get my husband and and myself feel that this was the was the best meal we had had in quite some time time. Pricey…. But worth the treat!!

   A little tired. Food is decent, certainly consistent, and service is great. I think the only thing I'm disappointed in is that the interior is a little tired and worn. Tables need refinishing, flatware looks old and scratched, laminate menus look a little sad. I wouldn't say "unclean" but doesn't look tip top. Understood that it's been there FOREVER, but it doesn't have to look like it's been there forever.

   We had a fantastic waitress, but the meal took nearly two hours. She constantly stopped by refilling our waters and giving us updates, but the kitchen was probably insanely backed up (it was Mother's Day). We sat, and we sat, and we sat. The food was amazing, so had to remove a star for this experience.

   Our waiter was so great! He was friendly and attentive. I was disappointed my shrimp linguini was a little lacking as far as shrimp. He offered to bring me more and he brought it promptly. The food was delicious. We will definitely be back!

   Sent a bad review several months ago due to a not so good experience. Mothers Day was completely different. Service was outstanding. Jasmine did an amazing job taking care of us. Only knock would be the oyster Rockefeller seems to get smaller each time we get it as an appetizer. Takes so good though. Highly recommend dining here .

   Went on Mother’s Day expecting chaos but pleasantly surprised . Service was prompt and attentive. Food was great. Had a lump crab cake for appetizer. Delicious, almost no filler. Entrees were soft shell crab, cooked perfectly, my mother had Parmesan haddock with she adored and my nephew had surf and turf with scallops. We all cleaned our plates! Raspberry pie and crème brûlée finished the meal. Will return. Had not been to the suburban location but was not disappointed.

    Excellent way to celebrate Mothers Day! We have returned to this restaurant for years (decades) and a great sign of its quality is also within the serving staff. Many have been there for a very long time. Just wonderful!

    Dinner was fantastic! My family met my Aunt and Uncle there for a nice dinner. It's a little loud for conversation, but the food was great. And service was impecable.

    We haven't been to Shaw's Schaumburg in several years. The menu selection isn't quite what it once was but the food was delicious. Service was friendly and professional. I marked the restaurant down on value because the wine is expensive and the oysters were very small (but tasty).

    Always a good meal and well made cocktail here. Service was excellent. Oysters are delicious and steak done properly, including the follow up check after the first cut. I’m not a fan of the note at the bottom of the menu stating instead of raising prices they are going to add an additional 3% to the bill. This is disingenuous and not fooling anyone. Not that fooling anyone is the point but calling it something other than a price increase is silly. I’m not tipping on the tax OR the extra 3%. Just be honest and charge what you have to, we will vote with our patronage if it’s fair or not.

    Shaws never disappoints. We had the oysters to start and then the wedge salad. Husband had the walleye and the chef was kind enough to beer batter it for him. I had the haddock which was prepared to perfection. Key lime pie to finish off our meal. Our server Diane was very attentive and kind. It’s always so nice when you’re able to have such a wonderful server. The manager stopped by to check on our meals which is always a nice touch.

    Our server Louis was excellent. Very professional, he was very personable but very sincere. He new his stuff, and most importantly, when finished, he did not ask us if we were done “working” on our meal. I can’t stand that phrase, it’s not clever and is very demeaning to the dining experience. I had the Seafood Salad and my wife had the Halibut, both were excellent!

    Return customers. We love Shaw’s. I suggest not blocking off 15 parking spots in the afternoon (in anticipation of evening valet customers) so your lunch customers can’t park near the restaurant. Especially where older adults are concerned. Thanks.

    I was really lookibg forward to oysters but the price has increased to crazy levles at $3.75 each. Food otherwise was excellent. Waitress was not friendly and anxious to "turn the table over".
