Restaurant delicioso, exelente servicio y calidad. Es un restaurant caro pero vale la pena
Shaws was amazing as usual!
Always excellent quality food and service.
Amazing Food. Great Atmosphere. Excellent Service.
GM Kevin Riordan went out of his way to accommodate a St. Louis Blues fan.
OMG! One of the best Seafood Dinners I have ever experienced! The service was fantastic, from the time we entered the front door until we left. My husband and I will be back next year. Thank you to all for a wonderful experience.
Good food, a little expensive for the appetizers and the portion size.
Every time I come back home to Chicago, I come here, the food is always great and the best part is the service. Mickey the bartender and our serve were attentive polite and knowledgeable. Thank you.
We had a drink at the bar prepared by Mickey...and it was wonderful. She made me a cucumber martini and it was very tasty. Then Cassandra, our server, took great care of us at dinner. The food was excellent and we enjoyed ourselves very much. We will definitely try to come back next time we visit Chicago.
From arrival to leaving- entire experience was top notch.
As varied a seafood menu as I have ever encountered. Very pleasant atmosphere with top-notch waitstaff. The quality of our respective meals was excellent, my wife and I are already looking forward to our next trip to Chicago so that we can dine again at Shaw's.
Really did not enjoy my view! Sitting facing a wall. I'm on a chair facing my kids who were on a "bench" booth).
We were right next to a serving area. The red vinyl edging as well as the wood surrounding the back of the kids hadn't been dusted in quite sometime. Horrible to look at throughout the meal.
Have been to Shaw's many times and would not have expected that!
That area, against the wall, needs a thorough cleaning!
Outstanding as always. My favorite brunch spot in Chicago. Food is consistent and delicious, with something for everyone. Service is attentive. Simply fantastic.
The only complain I have is the bathroom, is to small for the amount of people and the size of the restaurant, I think the need to expand it o building on other one is so uncomfortable
My husband and I cannot rave enough about Shaws! We highly recommend. Everything about it is outstanding.
Shaw’s offers the best brunch in the city. Period.
I haven’t been there in awhile but found the service and food quality consistent with my previous visit.
Was in town for a girls weekend from Kansas City. Amazing food and service! A great place to spend my 30th Birthday!
The restaurant was busy and server seemed overwhelmed and was very slow. The steak was disappointing.
El único problema es que hacen esperar mucho cuando se llega al restaurante
Old world history with excellent food and service
Great place! 100% recomendable
As usual, Shaw’s did not disappoint. We stopped in for a birthday appetizers. The sample platter of oysters was delicious. Fresh, good size. The lobster bisque was flavorful, unfortunately all three of of our cups were lukewarm and there was more carrots than lobster in our cup. The crab cake appetizer was our favorite. Nicely seasoned, thick, with a side of creamed spinach. Wedge salad was enough for two people. We enjoyed a piece of key lime pie for birthday dessert. It was ok. A bit on the runny side but delicious and much appreciated. Great place for dinner or an afternoon of appetizers. Service is always good. Attentive waitstaff. Look forward to our next visit.
Absolutely delicious seafood! I'm still thinking about the soft shell crabs 3 days later! We also split 3 entrees among 4 of us- whole snapper, halibut, and king crab legs, with sides of Brussels and broccolini. We enjoyed 2 bottles of wine, and surprise mango Bellini (a manager heard we were from metro /detroit and came over to say hello-she was from same area). Service was attentive, friendly, knowledgable; noise level is high though. Our waiter, John, kept our wine glasses full and food evenly spaced. Most importantly, the seafood was the shining star- you immediately taste the fresh sweetness of the soft shells and king crab, the tender mild halibut and snapper-and all dishes were prepared with the simplest seasonings. Oh, and my friends enjoyed the dessert sampler- Be prepared to spend-but worth it!
Excellent food and service, one of my favorite places to eat!
I really enjoyed myself, I will go back for sure. Everyone was so nice and the food was amazing.
My wife and I had a great experience, it was our first at Shaw’s and we will be back,
Everything was excellent and the ceviche was the best we have ever had.
Juan took such good care of us! We had a lovely experience and would definitely recommend the restaurant!
Everything we tried was very good - oysters, scallops, sauteed spinach, brussel sprouts, swordfish and fried shrimp. The service was exceptional. They are very attentive to tables and have separate servers for water, etc. We will definitely come again.
Favorite seafood restaurant in Chicago. Have been going there at least annually for 25 plus years. Always meets expectations. Service always superb. Will keep going.
Overall experience very satisfactory. Our waiter Eric was friendly attentive & professional.
Great crab cakes and Brussels sprouts were terrific. Nice wine list. Attentive service
The service and the food were excellent.
Family visiting from out of town.
Great place to celebrate special occasions. Would highly recommend.
My partner and I come here all the time however we typically dine on the oyster bar side. This night we were entertaining family so we decided to take a stroll to the other side. Our server was amazing however both red snappers were dry, and my shrimp were over cooked. It’s a great place but I think we’ll stay on the oyster bar side.
The seafood was great although the portions were small. The steak needs work. Really enjoyed the live music.
Have not been there in many years - did not disappoint.
Celebrated Mother's Day at the downtown location. The drinks were great and crafted with care. We had large Stone Crabs for the appetizer and they were phenomenal. The soup course was Clam Chowder, it had no clams....not sure what happened, it was not good. Main course we had King Crab Legs and Halibut Steak with a side of sauteed spinach, both were great, made up for the soup. Service started slow but she regrouped and was excellent rest of the night. We will recommend and will return.
Excellent food and service as it is always. We enjoyed the lobster tail and steaks which were cooked exactly as requested.
One of our special occasion places, went for Mother's Day. Everything was excellent, as usual. Highly recommended for any occasion.
