Shari Sushi Lounge Ratings and Reviews
Food was good, server seemed to be too busy to handle tables given
We were the first customers to enter the restaurant for our 5 oclock reservation. We didnt get our food till 6 o'clock and watched at least 5 tables after us eat before we we're served our food :( dont go hungry with kids
Really great find in Orlando. A good bet if you are in search of Oriental food. Sushi and sashimi are very good. Small choice of hot dishes (could be more). Trendy white interior - a little cafe like. Good for friends get together, but not for a romantic date, unless feel need to be trendy.
We had dinner before seeing a show and the food was great and the service was wonderful. I was disappointed to see that the cucumber bowl that used to enclose their ginger salad had been changed to just a regular bowl (it was such a visual delight and tasty). The oysters and signature martini to compliment it were spot on!
The Adamame & Chicken were spectacular. The main course “chef special” not so much expected more roles & the sashimi was ok. The worst part were the drinks, all watered down with too much ice. I feel like a bad first experience, going to give jt another try 😙
Went for our anniversary. Sat upstairs it was nice and quiet and we overlooked the sushi bar so we could see them make our food. We arrived for happy and the menu looked amazing. We only ordered 1 roll (ceviche roll) on the happy hour bc we wanted to try new stuff and it was actually my favorite roll of the evening. We also ordered the fried buffalo lobster app, the bff roll, the pink panther roll, and a ume dish. Plenty to eat. We also ordered the sweet potato beneights with cinnamon ice cream and it was also delish!
I booked a reservation for 9:30 pm after a very long day of traveling for work. I had to park much further that I preferred since it was dark and had some very sketchy people around and I am a women. I get there at 9:30 and the door was LOCKED!!!!! I knocked on the door and saw a few people at the bar talking to the bartender but not one person ( which I didn't not expected the customers) came and opened the door. Why take a reservation and then LOCK the door???? Very unprofessional and rude!
Definitely the best sushi in Orlando. Fish is always very fresh. Every time I'm in town for business I have to get a fix. Chef always has some new special I have to try. Lots of interesting things on the menu. I love their presentation of Hamachi kama. Pork belly is outstanding! Good sake choices and bar menu.
I just moved closer to downtown, and was looking for a new sushi restaurant closer to my home. I was very happy to discover Shari. Shari is now my new local sushi restaurant. First, there wasn't any wait. The quality of the fish was outstanding. The service was very friendly and relatively quick. The layout of the restaurant is a little cramped and not ideal, but everything can't be perfect always.
I took my wife to Shari for our anniversary over the July 4th holiday weekend. Assuming it would be busy and made a reservation. I was wrong. Which made the experience fantastic. We had the only table on the balcony and there were only 7 other full tables. Our waitress Katy was very attentive and perfectly chatty. We mentioned to her that we hadn't been to Shari in 8+ years and said it was our anniversary. After we finished the manager (I believe his name was Mike) stopped by and thanked us for coming, chatted for a minute, and gave us two glasses of champagne on the house. Over all the food has always been great and the service and attention to detail are fantastic.
