Shari is one of our favorite go-to's in the neighborhood. Service and quality are absolutely consistent, and never disappoint! It is so great to have a location nearby that you can count on time and time again.
Dinner was phenomenal. The pork belly appetizer just melts in your mouth. I also had a Ceviche roll & Romeo & Juliette roll. SO GOOD! My boyfriend had a bunch of rolls from the HH menu which is available days a week!! Caitlin was our server. She was fantastic. I highly recommend Shari.
Most delicious sushi restaurant in Central Florida!
Good was very delicious, ambiance was very appealing. Although, the service could have been a little more helpful. It's noted that it was late and they were going to close in an hour, but we definitely weren't the only ones there. It was actually pretty packed. Don't get me wrong, this restaurant is highly recommended. It's just plainly that the service needs to match the quality of the place and food. The hostess did not ask us if we had a preference, just sat us wherever it was convenient for her or the servers. Or even convenient for them to close, but I'm paying good money for my experience, on top of that it was Valentine's Day.
This place definitely took myself and my boyfriend by surprise. We didn't have a great table (tucked away in the corner by the staircase, everyone who came up the stairs looked at us. It wasn't very private), and our waitress was very obviously busy since it was Valentine's Day, but the food was amazing! The ceviche roll was a big hit, and so was the lava cake dessert we shared! I would come back, but maybe on a less busy night!
Compliments to both the front and back of the house!
The experience at Shari is always consistent. Great service, great food, and great drinks.
The sushi and service was outstanding. The happy hour menu from 5-7 daily is a great deal. They have appetizers and sushi rolls for $4.25-6 during this time. The ambiance is very elegant but trendy. I had the edamame with garlic, ft Myers roll, and spider roll- all of it was delicious. Waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu. Can't wait to go back!
As always best sushi and sashimi in town. Great service. Only problem is that after making a reservation on Open Table for first time (I usually just call the restaurant) they gave us an unacceptable high table located at entrance door where every one coming in had to brush by. Totally unacceptable for a business dinner for four who spent over $400. When I finally got the message across to the hostess who didn't want to reseat us, I suggested we get a drink at the bar and wait for a better table which she finally agreed to. Will probably call direct in the future to make sure they don't stick me with that table. Bar and sushi and sashimi the best in town. Bourbon drinkers should try their own bourbon or their aged Manhattan. They have a great happy hour on well drinks and sushi/sashimi 5-7. If you are not interested inthis arrive after 7:30 and seating much better then
We are currently seeking a new place to meet. This place was our favorite for the food and the happy hour. On our last visit they did not offer any red wine for happy hour when I have had it there for years. It was just some blush which I did not like. I expressed that I was unhappy to the "bar manager" and he could careless that it upset me. So now we will find a place that does care. When I spoke to my waiter (who was fantastic) about this policy change he at least apologized, but the food, wine and fellowship with friends made this the perfect location. We came often, but we will not go back now!
