Great food! Charcuterie appetizer for 4 people was great! Lobster ravioli was the best that I have had. We definitely will be going back again!
There was no air conditioning and it was stifling hot. The kitchen was slammed so food took way too long.
We think the waiter was over worked. Our food came out cold, he kept forgetting our drinks and to bring a napkin out. We love this place overall thiugh
Everything but Italian!!!
Brought my family here because I had come once before when I was touring Boulder for school and they loved it just as much as I did. Great food, nice employees, and a good ambiance. right on pearl street!
Low quality. Sat next to a fountain that splattered on us all dinner.
It was an authentic Italian experience! The staff were knowledgeable and engaging to ensure we all had an unforgettable experience. The original Italian dishes were fresh, creative , delicious, and authentic. The wine selection was exquisite. We were visiting from out of town and were absolutely enchanted by Sforno Trattoria!
A Disneyland view of what Rome might look like for someone who has never left America. Decent but not great food. Boulder has better to offer.
Food was good, service was excellent. When I’m back out west I will be visiting again.
I told the waitress I was allergic to dairy and she helped me choose a dish with no dairy listed. The dish came out covered in cheese... By the time my next meal came out (without cheese) my friend's meal was cold.
The restaurant was lovely. I loved the true Italian feel to the decor. The servers were very attentive and the food was amazing!! It is hard to get eggplant right and it was cooked to perfection. We are visiting from Florida or this would become my new favorite restaurant!
Food was fantastic. We actually left an Italian restaurant down the street because we didn’t like anything on the menu. The garlic chicken pasta I had was soooo good and the outdoor patio during Wednesday night music was great. My only complaint would be that the seating was pretty tight.
The restaurant was a little warm.
But it did not affect our overall experience. Service was great, food delicious, and brought out quickly! Will definitely return!
Great place to go with a date, friends, or family. Nice outdoor dining option and the food is really awesome! Good all-around value on trendy Pearl St.
We had a very nice time. The restaurant is very nice. Cozy and romantic. We shared a Arugula Salad and then each had the Spaghetti Frutti Di Mare, a mix of salmon, scallops and shrimp in a spicy tomato wine sauce. Delicious 😋
What a wonderful place to enjoy passersby and delicious, unique dishes. Happy hour is fantastic! Definitely going back!
We had a great dinner after a long day. They have a good wine selection and we loved the basil pesto! We will be back for sure:)
Our waiter and food were excellent!
They did not have our table for 5 and tried to make shift with 2 tables together that did not work, then with another wait finally moved us to really nice table outdoors part.
The inside was very noisy but fun and great atmosphere 👍
We had a wonderful lunch at Sforna and we felt transported to Italy. The food was wonderful and our waiter was excellent!
I love Sforno and eat there regularly. My favorite Italian restaurant in Boulder.
Met a girlfriend for happy hour. The waitstaff was excellent, food was amazing, and the restaurant itself is rustic and charming. Will definitely be back!
Loved the ambiance. Food was fantastic. Will definitely go again the next trip to Colorado.
Table was located at the edge of the inside allowing great people watching on the PearlStreet mall. Service was mixed - quick attention with menus and bread and bottles of water then mostly absent after meal was served. Bread was toasted and tasty. Roasted artichoke was good, although still 'choky' at the heart. Pasta Sforna was enjoyed by husband who had also added some fried pancetta. My Eggplant (mezaluna) parm was mushy and really greasy - I left most of it. So mixed review. Like many places in Boulder It depends.
We made a reservation on OpenTable for lunch this past Saturday. We requested an outdoor table. When we arrived, we were told that the last outdoor table was just given away? I asked, why ask for special requests when it seemed to us like no one read it? I was offered an apology. "We should have a table for 2 shortly. Why not walk around a bit and come back in 15 to 20 min and one should then be available. If one becomes free, sooner, I'll call you." Fine. We left, walked around and then. came back 20 min later to discover that several tables outdoors were given away. No one called. Very, very poor service!!!
This restaurant is our go to place on the Pearl Street Mall in Boulder. Homemade pasta and other flavorful dishes are simply divine. We took a friend there who had lived in a small Italian village for a year and she commented that Sforno's food was very similar to what she experienced in Italy. Worth trying!
loved the trout and the appetizers are great. they’re happy to change any dish or add protein to pasta dishes.
Excellent service and ambiance. Food average, especially for price. Would go again.
Go somewhere else. Pasta Sforno (signature dish) was a joke. A small bowl of cheesy pasta for $19? Wife tried the Pizza Aglio E Olio and it was pizza dough with olive oil smeared on top, cooked, with arugula on top - $18. Puny glasses of wine... get me out of here! Leave this to the unsuspecting tourists on the Pearl Street Mall.
Great place for day before BOLDERBoulder
Appetizers were just the right size, the shrimp scampi was awesome in the spicy olive oil.
All the pasta were good size portion (if you order the full portion).
Best of all, everything tasted amazing..
Great service from wait staff and terrific entrees and overall experience
Perhaps the best Veal Saltimbocca I've ever had - and a generous portion!
There is plenty of competition among restaurants in the Boulder, and several excellent Italian spots to choose from. Sforno Trattoria is our favorite. We have been there twice in the last month and both times the food and service were great. Our last visit was Mothers Day and the specials for that occasion were particularly enjoyable. We had the sea bass and halibut dishes and shared them. They were both so tasty neither of us could decide which was better - they both tied for first place. In thpast we've more traditional Italian dishes like chicken parm, marsala, and shrimp scampi. You can't go wrong. Highly recommended.
We had an early Mother's Day dinner at Sforno. The service was top rate, courteous, and quick. It felt like we were in another country (Italy). Everything was fresh, hot, and served promptly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
I would call the noise level too noisy to talk rather than energetic (it was graduation, but it was the same last time we were there). We had a group of 13 which I think was too much for our waiter. He carded my son 4 times before he served him any drink I think. The food was very good and came out quickly. We will always make your restaurant one of our stops each visit. Overall very good. I like the calls I got to confirm our rsv.
Charming, cozy, extensive menu, great service. This was our choice for college graduation celebration and it could not have been better. Even filled with a dozen large family groups, staff was attentive, personal and calm. Ranging from panini to specialty pastas the food was perfectly prepared, generous portions, arrived quickly. Prices are reasonable. The restaurant made us remember our favorite in Venice. A delight to which we'll return.
The food, service an entire experience was wonderful. It is an intimate and pleasant place.
Ordered the fish special and the fish was bad!
Excellent dining experience
