Sfoglia is a lovely little trattoria residing on an unassuming stretch of the Upper East Side, across the street from the 92nd Street Y. Farmhouse tables topped with the season's produce are the appropriate setting for Sfoglia's country Italian fare. The private dining room tucked away upstairs can seat an intimate party of twelve.

We are outside facing Lexington Ave so noise was a problem and ambience kind of non-existent. Otherwise a lovely meal and evening.
One of our favorite local restaurants. Very good food and a creative menu.
Great bread we all enjoyed our meals
Famiky outta town
We dined at Sfoglia every Saturday night this summer and each evening was wonderful.
It has been a go to restaurant for us for over 14 years and we are so happy that it never disappoints.
We will miss you over the winter by we will see you next summer!
Our neighborhood go to. Always a good experience.
I was surprised to arrive and find a menu that was not the one posted on your site or theirs. The prices where inflated on average $10 additional to the ones posted for average Italian food & service. I would have been better off in Little Italy for homemade pasta and ambiance. This restaurant is an over rated upper eastside disaster! It’s unfortunate that they are across the street from the 92nd St Y.
Unfortunately that is inaccurate AndrewV. Our current menu posted on our official website is accurate and the same regarding both items and prices as what we offer in person at the restaurant. Please visit our website for reference.
Food menu choices limited.
Still amazing after many years.
I like the neighborhood feel to the restaurant both inside and outside and the country like menu.
The food here is sublime!
Food and service are exquisite. Veal was delicious. Value is lacking a bit, price point is high relative to what it is.
service slipped up supposedly because of large outdoor party which were near our table. the salad FINALLY came out but they did bring some olives as we were tired of waiting 45 minutes for a salad... the Cesar was excellent by the way Pasta and the chicken were excellent too.
Good food. Slow service but this has become the norm at all restaurants now.
This place never disappoints. It’s fabulous every time!
Stellar. Awesome. Wonderful. Delicious. Go!!
Amazing place, all parts of the meal were fantastic
Had our Third anniversary here. One of our favorite spots in NYC!
Beautifully decorated, incredible craft cocktails, homemade pasta. Will def be going back!
Rachel, our server, was outstanding , She is lovely, professional, engaging and charming. The food was outstanding as well. It was a wonderful dining experience from start to finish
Everything was fabulous! Ordered the Caesar salad and signature chicken. Highly recommend both!
Charming setting, attentive wait staff and delicious food.
One of our favorite restaurants on the upper east side.
Wonderful dining experience w delicious food and efficient , friendly service.
Very nice neighborhood Italian. Great food and service, nice ambiance. Consistently well prepared food from appetizers to desserts. Pastas are especially good. Not the standard, expected Italian fare-with menu changing by the season.
Well worth keeping in mind if interested in a relaxed atmosphere with great food.
The food was delicious, the service very good and the ambiance perfect! The outdoor dining is spacious and comfortable.
FOOD WAS EXCELLENT
SERVICE WAS PERFECT
DID LIKE THE TRAILOR COMPARED TO OTHERS WE HAVE BEEN IN BUT WE HAVE TO EAT OUTSIDE
The food was delicious and the service was perfect. The outdoor dining area is lovely and the inside had lovely ambiance. (The “order early” peach dessert was lucious!)
Outstanding vibe, best and most comfortable bar dining and table dining in the UES. Try the veal Milanese which melts in your mouth with a summer preparation that I’ve never seen. Thanks to both Daves — behind the bar and managing tonight, and the great owner, Johann +.
We were there to celebrate a birthday and from the moment we walked in the staff made us feel welcome and special. The food was superb and even though the restaurant was busy, we were well taken care of from start to finish. It is clear great care is taken to use the best seasonal ingredients and also to provide a lovely dining experience - this is a new favorite!
The food is simply delicious. Everything from the bread and olive oil on the table to dessert Had the touch of care in it. The wait staff was beyond accommodating and pleasant. However, it is a bit pricey so be prepared.
We had great food and wonderful service ! We were a table of 6 people and we all loved the restaurant.
Second time I’ve been here, and just as good as the first!
Everything we had was spectacular, and the service was wonderful!
Can’t wait to come back!
A great neighborhood Italian restaurant. Menu is limited but execution if excellent. Had mussels and veal Milanese both excellent. Small wine list but some great selections in the $50-100 range. Noise level from conversation is high.
Perfectly delicious. Plenty of time to savor each course — including exquisite peach torte dessert.
Our server was so professional and courteous. The food was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend Sfoglia.
Little pricy for what we received but the taste, service and ambiance were great.
My wife and I really enjoyed the menu, and it was difficult to make our choices as there were so many items that appealed to us. It was a plus that some of the entrees were available in smaller portions. It was a hot and muggy evening, so although the fans in the "shed" helped moved air, the fact that the "shed" was enclosed in plastic did make it somewhat stifling with regard to the air. But the food was great as were the drinks. Looking forward to going back someday.
The Caesar salad and pasta dish were great. The veal dish was over cooked, but still good.
