Food is overall pretty good. Not big portions. They have a one size pizza and it is SMALL and thin crust--not great value there and nothing to write home about in terms of taste. Nut the Burgers are GOOD! --even the turkey burger! Salads are mediocre. Appetizers are good. Prices are OK for on the mtn: not too much but def not a 'deal.' What is good: location (on the mtn!), ambiance, and you can always get seated even during high traffic time: spring break! You don't have a to have a reservation but def recommended.
I’ve never experienced such rude and unprofessional behavior from a restaurant manager. Waitress’ and bar tenders were great, food was good bar food but the way the manger spoke to customers and staff was extremely off putting.
I went with my family , 4 of us on December 31st and all 4 items we ordered from menu were not eatable .We left disappointed and hungry .
Advertised as upscale Italian; actually was a pizza/calzone joint. Also, claimed OpenTable error caused overbooking; baloney! Been using OpenTable since 2011 and never experienced that excuse.
Absolutely terrible experience! Advertises itself as an authentic pizza place and then explains that our hour wait to receive a pizza is due to a small wood burning oven and “too many people ordered pizzas.” Seriously?! Then, our waitress decided to ensure she received a tip and intentionally omitted bringing us an itemized bill and added a 20% tip for herself. I guess she was hoping we’d just sign the slip and add even more tip. We were smarter than her and corrected everything with the manager. Overall, they have a captive audience at the lodge and obviously don’t care if they make it a great experience.
The food was delicious, but the service was terrible. We ended up getting our own refills of water from the station closest to our table. We requested plates to eat our wings with and they were never brought. Once our food was delivered not one person checked in on us to see how the food was or to ask if we needed anything. We waited 10 minutes after eating before finally flagging down a hostess to ask for to go containers and our bill. The sad part is the restaurant was not busy and we had a reservation. Though we will stay at Grand Lodge on Peak 7 again as we own a timeshare, the restaurant is located there, we will not be back to Sevens.
When you read the reviews about great pizza, believe them! We took the free gondola up to the restaurant to check out the scenery. It is worth the very easy trip. Prices and menu are both good. The pizza was definitely a shareable item. We would dine here again.
Had a reservation for Saturday evening 13 October 2018, with my wife and child. Arrived and was told there was a wedding and was turned away. Talked to the HEAD chef and he said to come back on Sunday!!!!!!!! BS... I talked to Phill at the the grand vacation club and he recommended the restaurant that evening. I jumped on my open table app and reserved the table only to be disappointed when we arrived!!!!!!!
Great views from the outside terrace. Good service and food. Limited menu of pizzas, burgers, and salads. The fall colors enhanced the meal.
Outstanding handmade pizza. Great views of town and Peak 7. Not crowded during the summer.
We had a very nice lunch here with a gorgeous view of the mountains. It was the off season and our open table points could not be registered by the restaurant since their system was not working.
When I made reservations for 8pm, their was no mention of menu change. The reservation was made based on the dinner menu. When we sat down the server gave us a tavern menu and stated " the menu changes at 8pm". Everything closes early in Breckenridge that requires reservation, so we had no choice but to order. Even though it was bar food, it was good .. especially the Cesar salad and Calzone. Next year we will plan for an earlier time.
The view was great but the food was mediocre at best.
Beautiful view and excellent meal! The Duck Tacos were exceptional.
Soulless restaurant, not sure what it's doing in a premium location. Maybe good for apres-ski (don't know) but not worth visiting for food. Only good points were the sweet potato fries and good Pinot noir.
Seven's no longer takes reservations for lunch so they called to cancel our reservations. We had no trouble getting a table though.
We had a very underwhelming dinner at Seven's. My wife's burger was OK but I ordered the quinoa caprese salad with chicken and thought that it was very uninspired. A pile of quinoa, a pile of shredded arugula (not a "bed"), several mozarella balls, basil was absent. Bleh. The chicken was cold and firm with a smoky brown color on the outside - skinless - but it had no flavor much less any sort of smoky flavor. Service was OK. There are no "breathtaking views" that I could see unless your breath is taken away by a patio looking out to a chair lift. I'll pass next time.
Sevens is a very typical ski area food spot in a nice setting. The sweet potato fries are delicious. Burgers are fine. We loved our waiter, Mitch, who was very helpful. The prices are not compatible with the quality though.
Awful food, awful experience. 20 minutes for a Pepsi (they were changing the tank), delivered in a cracked glass, a seared tuna and sautéed veggies with pasta that was so spicy from the 28 fried jalapeños (the only veggie) it was inedible, to the kicker: the duck tacos (cold) that were spoiled. The manager said they were fine and wrote on the $5 off the $19’entree that the customer didn’t like them. They sent one guest to the toilet all night. Not until we made a big deal did they comp the entree. Any respectable restaurant would have comp’d the whole meal.
Drove up a long and windy mountain road to get to the restaurant. When we arrived, we called to ask about parking and were rudely told to drive back (15 minutes) to town and take the bus back. No thank you!! Drove back to town and had a nice meal at a different restaurant.
This place is just a ski lunch restaurant on the slopes. Mac Donald would probably be better and cheaper...
Made reservations for Thanksgiving. Was served a turkey sandwich. I could go on with details but there's no point. Don't waste your time.
Dropped my wife and kids off while I drove back down the hill to park. They were ignored for 10 minutes. They called me to come back and get them. Disappointed.
We were very disappointed in menu and food. The worst meal we had in Breckenridge Colorado all week. Some menu items not available. We were celebrating a special family birthday. Best part of dinner was the view of the mountains.
we chose sevens based on the menu presented on Open Table. the actual menu this time of year in mud season is actually simply burgers and pizza. not worth the trek up the mountain just to find out that there us abdolutely no parking and you are supposed to take a bus up the hill. why would that not be mentioned online? we parked illegally to dine on an ok burger.
The burger was great.
The tomato soup was nice and spicy
The sweet potato fries were great.
We went to Seven's for the Thanksgiving brunch. I was a little leery as the yelp reviews weren't all that good but my son wanted to go. For $59 per person it was horrible. We will not be coming back!
Service was fine but the food was only fair. I had the fried chicken which is a signature dish and it was greasy and the outside coating tasted burnt. The cook left it in the fryer to long . The taste was like old grease and chicken had no flavor . My husband had pizza and he said it was fine.
We had a reservation for my birthday, when we showed up they said they had a wedding and were not taking reservations. This was a huge pain with 6 people trying to find dinner on a Saturday night for a special occasion.
Name of restaurant is actually the peak for skiing use . We were suppose to use the lift to go to it ! We did not think about it since it was summer . We didn't know to take the lift up! Now you know😆 Google map sent us to Grand Lodge where the manager gave us permission to keep our car in their parking lot and then go through the lodge . Please ask first. Wonderful patio looking at the mountains anytime of the year!
Wonderful spot for lunch after skiing all morning . Easy to get to and a variety of options to choose from . Server was friendly and did not rush us at all .
We frequent sevens for lunch and sometimes the service is quick, other times incredibly slow. For this meal it took over 30 min to even take our order.
Sevens has a very limited menu. The food was okay nothing spectacular but could not beat the location right on the mountain at the base of peak 7.
We chose Seven because of the on line menu as listed on Open Table. Almost none of the featured items were available. The hostess stated that the menu I showed her on my iPhone was out of date and offered no other explanation or attempt to satisfy us. Overall disappointing.
Okay for an afternoon burger or sandwich but go elsewhere for dinner.
This is a ski stop, but above average bar food. Way overpriced, and not too accommodating waiter. Granted we went after dark, and staff was at minimum, and seemed to be tired with lack of energy (as Trump says). The pizza was good and so were the drinks, while both were 40% more expensive than 90% of area bars/pubs/pizza joints. During the day, while skiing, next to impossible to get table or service, waited 20 minutes for a beer while standing at bar.
Seven's is in a prime location for skiers staying at or skiing near peak 7. The restaurant is set up beautifully with a really cool ambiance and amazing views. We ate there twice, once for lunch outside and once inside for dinner. Both meals fell short. We had read reviews about the unreasonable wait for dinner and decided to try anyway. The wait was over an hour for a few pizzas and kids meals. The server was friendly and apologetic, working hard to make things right. The wait would have not been memorable if the food was really good. It just wasn't, nothing bad just nothing special. We had much better meals in town for comparable prices.
Menu last year was much better. Need to bring back popular options.
Great food and fun after a hard day of skiing!
Emelene was an an excellent waiter.
