Seven's Mediterranean Turkish Grill Ratings and Reviews
We eat here almost every week. We love the food. We had a birthday party here, made the reservation and ordered food, wine and dessert in advance. The food was fantastic (as always). The service was friendly, helpful and quick. The staff always seem happy to see us and happy to accommodate any seating, food or wine preferences we have.
We highly recommend!
Seven's Mediterranean Turkish Grill has a menu that meets many needs. There are small plates, salads, sandwiches, and entrees. The wine list is extensive and quite good. The service is attentive but not overly. I will note that the decor could use refreshing.
Looking for a delicious place before a concert at the Beacon Theatre? Seven was really fantastic.
The menu was filled with so many delicious options, we needed more people to share!
The salads were delicious, the fish was really well prepared and their were lots of vegetarian items. In particular their Baba Ganoush was really addicting.
Another good meal there. Always reliable and always good and truly Turkish. Could make a meal out of the warm bread and dips alone but would miss the zucchini pancakes if we left without an order of them. The Turkish pizzas are also a big treat - just have to remember not to eat too much of the yummy bread beforehand!
always a pleasant meal here with good menu choices. it was full this time, including a large group dining there so my appetizer came just before the entree arrived but it worked out since I could incorporate it with my main dish. the other appetizer came right on time so it would have been nice if they had come together with our friends. and always enough to take away for another meal which is good.
Went to the theatre upstairs from the restaurant so it's very convenient if you're going to Triad theatre.
The service was very attentive and we did not feel rushed.
If you like Mediterranean food we would recommend their mixed grill. It's large enough for two people to share and get a taste of a number of different types of meat and vegetables.
We also shared a bottle of a dry red Turkish wine and finished with baklava made with pistachios instead of walnuts.
We'll be back!
Seven's is convenient to The Triad Theater which is why we went. The food is good and reasonably priced. There's no particular ambiance. Usually the service is very good but our waitress last week couldn't have been less attentive. She took our order only after we called her over and acted like we were boring her.
She never brought the appetizer because she'd forgotten to put it in the computer. Nor did she apologize. She was the opposite of customer friendly. We would return, but would insist that we have a different waitress.
We were so happy to celebrate a cousin's 80th birthday here. The staff was warm and friendly, the food was tasty, shareable and delicious and the baklava for dessert was light and out of this world-the perfect ending for a perfect evening! We can't thank everyone enough for making the evening so special and we will definitely come back again!!
Perfect pre- theater spot on West Side, close to Lincoln Center yet more reasonable. Right below Triad Theater, many early diners also made the steps up to the theater, well fed & happy! (Would have been better with an elevator). Wonderful tastes of Turkey: salmon shish kebabs & whole fish entrees after tasty appetizers. Next time we'll leave room & time for desserts with tea/coffee!
I dine frequently at Sevens...food is great, service is incredible and the price is right.
Several weeks ago I lost my Ipad, and considered it gone forever, until I returned to the restaurant and my waitress with great excitement handed it back to me. She had even kept it charged.
You cannot beat the neighborhood feel, the warmth and the excellent food. I love it there.
A decent menu, better than many other Turkish places. Food was good but hardly outstanding. Was not too crowded when we were there but in the past the noise level was intolerable. Going in the middle of the week probably helped. All and all, excellent value for the money and we will return.
This particular evening the noise level was extremely loud. There were over 10 people at one table talking loudly and another table with little children. However the meals are delicious and the pricing is reasonable. The service was very good. We recommend this restaurant but just hope your fellow diners keep the voices low and aren't boisterous.
Suspicious when the food came out almost instantly after we ordered it. The falafel had clearly not been made fresh: It was hard and dry and was accompanied by some sad looking lettuce. I asked 3 times for pita bread, but it never arrived. Shepherd's salad was tasteless and the ingredients looked like they had been sitting. Stuffed eggplant not good. I am of Armenian descent and know this food well. There are plenty of places in NYC that do this kind of food much better. Once upon a time, the food here was very good. Not anymore.
This restaurant, a pleasant walk from the New York Historical Society, the Museum of
Natural History and other UPS destinations, is a pleasant choice for either lunch or dinner. Our threesome was greeted with enthusiasm, seated promptly, and served drinks, appetizers and entrees with proper breathing room even though the hour was late. We especially enjoyed our zucchini pancakes, eggplant salad, stuffed cabbage and seared sea bass. My only criticism is that the tiki I, the "planner" of virtually all our evenings out, found very sparse; in fact, it was the most meager drink I've had at any of New York's many Turkish restaurants. Usually an order of this Turkish drink would be twice the size of this one at the same price. So we found the food prices fair, the drink price excessive and so of low value. Will we return? Yes, but I'll try to look at the drink menu online beforehand and decide whether wine might be a better choice.
