This was a Father’s day celebration a bit delayed. We love the ambiance of Seven Seas & Debra, our server, was outstanding! Unfortunately they discontinued the bread basket with the flat bread, bread sticks, etc That was always a treat! They subbed with a savory monkey bread which was delicious but not the same as the basket. It would be nice to have the option. The brandy old fashions have been one our favorites around town but tonight they seems a bit weak & the second round was missing the orange. All the food was delicious except one of the Weiner schnitzel pieces was rather tough. Overall it was a nice evening with just the above exceptions.
Perfect place to take a special dad on father's day. Yummy
The view was great and the service was awesome. My server was great and kept a smile the whole time. The menu prices was reasonable also.
Excellent service. Food was Delicious. Went there for Father's day and they made my Dad's day very special. We will for sure be back.
I made reservations for (4) for the Father's Day Brunch. A little pricey, but a beverage was included. I was surprised that we really didn't hear from our waitress after taking our orders and delivering our drinks. She didn't ask if we wanted anything else to drink at an additional charge.
The brunch was served family style and in courses. There was plenty to eat and everything tasted wonderful.
The waitress showed up again about 15 minutes after we stopped eating and asked if we wanted desserts. She never offered a dessert menu. We paid then walked down to the lake to take photos. Quaint, quiet outside and very beautiful.
Had our anniversary dinner here and it was very good.
Everything was done professionally. The food, service and atmosphere were great!
Haven’t been there in a long time. Had a wonderful table overlooking the lake. Service was excellent and food the same. Will definitely be back again soon. Great for special occasions and a date.
Visited with a party of 12 on a Thursday at 7:30 PM. My party was put in a back dining room which was isolated from the rest of the dining and bar area. It took 35 minutes to get our drink order, and another 15 for the waitress to take our meal order. There was only a single server dedicated to our table which was likely the cause of the slow service. Total time from arrival to departure was well over 2 hours. Food and drinks were above average and the entire party seemed to enjoy themselves with the exception of the slow service.
Had the prime rib. A bit tough. Thick gravy over the top, not aus ju. Had to ask for horseradish sauce.
Great food with an excellent view of the lake
However, service was very slow.
Very nice atmosphere and great service as well as food!
Went to the Mother’s Day Brunch and it was absolutely delicious.
Really enjoyed the Mother's Day brunch - food was outstanding - only problem - they bring one dessert tray for 6 people. I didn't get to try one.
The restaurant sits on a beautiful piece of land. We were there for mothers day brunch.
I thought the food was no better than a Denny's. The people were very friendly and our waitress was very kind.
Took the family there for Mother’s Day brunch. We had reservations and were seated right away. Service was very prompt and attentive considering how busy they were.
My steak was not well done, but everything else was really good.
We came for the Sunday brunch. The waiters were friendly and fast, and the food was fresh, fabulous and plentiful. We felt our experience was well worth the $25 meal charge.
We really liked brunch at Seven Seas, beautiful view. The only disappointments were:
1) waitress tried taking our plates for two of us at different times and we were not done (knife indicated/food on plate)
2) was disappointed at how much of the brunch was served family style, the food was great and plentiful however we felt like a lot was wasted not only at our own table but at neighboring tables as well. I am curious on the cost effectiveness, I would much rather prefer to pay a lower price and have it all buffet style?
Service was great. Portions good. Food was delicious. Blackened catfish, wiener schnitzel and ceasar salad with shrimp were wonderful. My picture is my creme brulee dessert!
My only short coming was the eggs on the veil schnitzel. The eggs need to have runny yokes to really add value . When I ordered I stressed not to over cook the eggs. What came out was disappointing. Both eggs were cooked hard. If I was not with a group, I would have sent it back to the kitchen. Overall the night was good , a 7 of 10. Could have been a 10.
It was a little pricey for us. One person had the filet which was to be medium well and it was definitely not even medium. We did not send it back as too many times then everyone is waiting since they are done and you are not.
Otherwise very relaxed and empty place then.
My wife and I were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and this restaurant met all of our expectations for food and dining experience. We will not be waiting for another milestone anniversary to return. We were very, very happy with the service, the food, and the ambiance.
Enjoyed our dinning before heading downtown for the MSO. The server was very good, the special for the night was excellent and the walleye was good.
Outstanding food and ambience! We were at the 7 Seas on April 1st with our daughter and were very impressed. We have some old friends that we have been eating out with at fine restaurants for 35 years and decided to take them to the 7 Seas April 21. Needless to say they were also impressed. You can't beat a beautiful site and wonderful food. We were also impressed with the staff. Our waitress was great. We will be back!
We reserved a table for Sunday April 15th for a birthday brunch. We booked it using Open Table. When we got there, it was closed due to weather. After braving the roads to get there, we were very disappointed that we did not get a cancellation notice to save ourselves the trip. Since we did not get any food, ambiance, or value, I had to rate them a 1 as well.
Was seated promptly with a great table with excellent view of the lake. The service staff was friendly and explained everything cheerfully. Parking was easy and the place was clean and well appointed. Would recommend the place for anyone who had a special occasion to celebrate. Plan to return later this year.
it was okay. kind of pricey for just a steam table, minimal cold seafood (peal and eat shrimp, which I don't do, cause I like the food ready to eat, not needing more prepration when I get it) and smoked, possibly local, salmon) and salads, and some bakery products. they were stingy with the desserts. had to be requested, and then, was a variety, but not duplicates, and not big enough for sharing, really. some go to brunch for the meat, like prime rib, (which wasn't carved, just sitting in water, in a steam tray), I go for the sugar. some of the salads were interesting.
Overall enjoyable Sunday Brunch. Food was delicious, atmosphere was lively and view of lake was spectacular!
Easter brunch was phenomenal!
I've never gone out for brunch on Easter because of the crowds and noise level. Not the case here. Even though there were many people dining, the noise level was minimal and we could all (8 of us) easily hear each other at our table. The staff was wonderfully attentive and available, the food was fabulous, and the view cannot be beat! I'd dine there on a holiday again in a heartbeat!
My wife and I have eaten at the Seven Seas several times and have always enjoyed the food, the view of the lake and the service. So when we needed a restaurant to celebrate my wife's and daughter-in-law's birthdays, we reserved a table for nine (six adults and three children). We were quite surprised when we arrived to find that they had arranged a private room totally overlooking the lake. It was perfect for our occasion and much appreciated as we watched the sun set over the lake. The service was excellent as was the food! A totally enjoyable dinner and evening.
The food was delicious and the service was top notch. What more can you ask for?
Food was great but service slow. I think there was only one waitress for all tables.
Family from out of state were in town so we thought a nice place for a Monday dinner. Service was efficient and food was good.
Nice view of the lake. Good brunch. Food was very good. Need to get there early for window table.
It was a birthday celebration for my wife.
We took our daughter and her friend to brunch. We were surprised by the amount of food and certainly the wonderful quality. The staff was prompt and upbeat. Most seats in the restaurant have a good view of the water. We left with a smile on our face. Thank you!
Very nice atmosphere, excellent menu and specialty drinks for special occasion
