My only short coming was the eggs on the veil schnitzel. The eggs need to have runny yokes to really add value . When I ordered I stressed not to over cook the eggs. What came out was disappointing. Both eggs were cooked hard. If I was not with a group, I would have sent it back to the kitchen. Overall the night was good , a 7 of 10. Could have been a 10.
It was a little pricey for us. One person had the filet which was to be medium well and it was definitely not even medium. We did not send it back as too many times then everyone is waiting since they are done and you are not.
Otherwise very relaxed and empty place then.
My wife and I were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and this restaurant met all of our expectations for food and dining experience. We will not be waiting for another milestone anniversary to return. We were very, very happy with the service, the food, and the ambiance.
Enjoyed our dinning before heading downtown for the MSO. The server was very good, the special for the night was excellent and the walleye was good.
Outstanding food and ambience! We were at the 7 Seas on April 1st with our daughter and were very impressed. We have some old friends that we have been eating out with at fine restaurants for 35 years and decided to take them to the 7 Seas April 21. Needless to say they were also impressed. You can't beat a beautiful site and wonderful food. We were also impressed with the staff. Our waitress was great. We will be back!

We reserved a table for Sunday April 15th for a birthday brunch. We booked it using Open Table. When we got there, it was closed due to weather. After braving the roads to get there, we were very disappointed that we did not get a cancellation notice to save ourselves the trip. Since we did not get any food, ambiance, or value, I had to rate them a 1 as well.
Was seated promptly with a great table with excellent view of the lake. The service staff was friendly and explained everything cheerfully. Parking was easy and the place was clean and well appointed. Would recommend the place for anyone who had a special occasion to celebrate. Plan to return later this year.
it was okay. kind of pricey for just a steam table, minimal cold seafood (peal and eat shrimp, which I don't do, cause I like the food ready to eat, not needing more prepration when I get it) and smoked, possibly local, salmon) and salads, and some bakery products. they were stingy with the desserts. had to be requested, and then, was a variety, but not duplicates, and not big enough for sharing, really. some go to brunch for the meat, like prime rib, (which wasn't carved, just sitting in water, in a steam tray), I go for the sugar. some of the salads were interesting.
Overall enjoyable Sunday Brunch. Food was delicious, atmosphere was lively and view of lake was spectacular!
Easter brunch was phenomenal!
I've never gone out for brunch on Easter because of the crowds and noise level. Not the case here. Even though there were many people dining, the noise level was minimal and we could all (8 of us) easily hear each other at our table. The staff was wonderfully attentive and available, the food was fabulous, and the view cannot be beat! I'd dine there on a holiday again in a heartbeat!
My wife and I have eaten at the Seven Seas several times and have always enjoyed the food, the view of the lake and the service. So when we needed a restaurant to celebrate my wife's and daughter-in-law's birthdays, we reserved a table for nine (six adults and three children). We were quite surprised when we arrived to find that they had arranged a private room totally overlooking the lake. It was perfect for our occasion and much appreciated as we watched the sun set over the lake. The service was excellent as was the food! A totally enjoyable dinner and evening.
The food was delicious and the service was top notch. What more can you ask for?
Food was great but service slow. I think there was only one waitress for all tables.
Family from out of state were in town so we thought a nice place for a Monday dinner. Service was efficient and food was good.
Nice view of the lake. Good brunch. Food was very good. Need to get there early for window table.
It was a birthday celebration for my wife.
We took our daughter and her friend to brunch. We were surprised by the amount of food and certainly the wonderful quality. The staff was prompt and upbeat. Most seats in the restaurant have a good view of the water. We left with a smile on our face. Thank you!
Very nice atmosphere, excellent menu and specialty drinks for special occasion
This place seems to have gone downhill...
We have been there numerous times in the past for special night outs, etc. We always enjoyed our experience...however, this time is was fairly bad. For one, our waitress seemed to be in a hurry and as a result knocked over 1 drink and spilled some of another...We went to Seven Seas as we like to enjoy seafood - but the restaurant had limited offerings for one labeled a Seafood Restaurant. They now have German food on the menu (which , I am assuming is there because they closed their German restaurant). If I wanted German food, I would go to a German restaurant. My wife decided on Scallops as she had their scallop dish in the past. The entree came and it only contained 3 scallops...3! In the past their entrees would have 6 scallops. We asked the waitress and she said in a effort to reduce prices, they reduce the size of their meals. Well we looked at the old menu with the other scallop dish on it (that contained 6 scallops) and the price difference was only $3. I think we would have paid $3 more for 3 scallops. Very disappointing overall and quite frankly, we don't think we will ever go back.
I went with 8 friends to the wine tasting night with food pairings. It was amazing. We booked for the next one that night!
We had a wonderful family get-together for Sunday Brunch. The waffle and omelet station were just what we wanted! Excellent service.
Excellent service, beautiful view, consistently great food and worth the drive!
Although it's a bit tricky to find, this restaurant is worth the trip. It is located directly beachside, with a beautiful view of the water. Casual elegance, delicious food, great service.
Overall experience was good, like usual – for our main course, my wife had the NY strip & I had the duck. Although the duck was good /ok, the half duck which used be served was better.
Great food and great service. We went to meet some friends from Madison and we’re not disappointed.
The food was great. I did ask for ma table by a window and that was not offered to me. Food I thought was a little pricey. We enjoyed ourselves. Atmoshere was good.
Ate at Seven Seas with a group of 7 for New Years dinner. The atmosphere was very nice, our service; server (Erin) was awesome...very attentive and prompt. The menu choices had something for everyone in our party, and all said their choice was delicious, my comp, ements to the chef
Wonderful!
We had New Years Eve dinner at the 7 Seas, was a wonderful evening. Ambiance, food, service was all top notch!
Very constant Great food very friendly staff a pleasure highly recommended
A group of us went on New Year's Eve at 5:00 pm. It was still quiet and we had a great table by the window to look out on the lake. The service was fantastic as was the food. Everyone enjoyed themselves and we plan on returning.
New Year dinner with family
The food and service was excellent. Unfortunately we were seated by the bar whoch had a few extremely drunk patrons watching a college football game. They were obnoxiously loud for where they were. Management should have stepped in and either calmed them down or asked them to leave.
Our family went to Seven Seas for a Christmas brunch. The food and service were great!
We had a party of 9 and were served efficiently and very politely. Great food in the formal dining room, excellent service as well. A casual menu is also available in the bar area.
We have gone here for many years but never on a Saturday night.
We were seated without being provided a wine list which once we asked, was very extensive.
We waited far too long for our server. Once he showed up he was great.
I ordered the Sauerbraten and the meat was very dry and sauce was not very authentic.
My husbands barbecue ribs were also dry.
Overall very nice restraunt. Good views and nice location. Food was very good
Took wife there for Birthday. Really nice Place. Wish we went there during the day so we could have enjoyed the Lake view. Food was good, not Great. But I recommend for Dates.
got a table very soon and waitress very friendly and Turkey dinner was good!!
