The Seven Seas has been family owned and operated since 1981 and enjoys a fine reputation for excellent steak & seafood and attentive service in a hospitable and beautiful atmosphere. The Weissgerber family and staff will be happy to serve you and your guests.
We sat outside and their patio was beautiful! Small - would be nice if they could expand with those views but food and drinks were great.
7:15 reservation, and we were not seated till 8:40. Waitresses emptying tables and we were the last people in there trying to eat dinner. We will not be back.
We didn't get to sit by a window as requested. In fact, we were sat in a corner where we couldn't even see the sunset. The next closest table to us was a large birthday party that was very loud. I'm sure there is always a demand for window seating but there is also outside seating and bar seating which wasn't even discussed as an option for us.
We do love this place otherwise. It's not only about the seating.
Needed more wait staff. Had to wait entirely too long for entree (1hour) and 30+ min for bill after dishes were cleared. Single waitress had to take care of al diners.
Beautiful ambiance and setting. However, food was sub par and service was extremely slow even though very friendly and polite.
Beautiful setting on the lake with large windows in the dining room. I tried one of the German entrees and it was excellent. Friends also enjoyed the prime rib.
Family get together
Great meal, great sunset over the lake
Four of us went here for an enjoyable Sunday brunch at 1 pm. Had a panoramic window seat in this beautiful classic lakeside restaurant on clear Lake Nagawicki.
Seven Seas has been the home of nearly all of our family's major events for a few decades, and they have never disappointed. Everything has been consistently wonderful ever since our first meal there! You can't go wrong making this place your home, too! Anne Ricker Cunningham
The wait staff was perfectly fine. However the main food dishes were subpar and I would expect much more when paying 15 dollars per entree.
The lobster was outstanding! My mushroom risotto was amazing my wife couldn’t stop tasting mine!! Definitely left with a very satisfied tummy!! The new updated menu is very nice!! We love it there!! ❤️
Beautiful table next to the window with lake views. Varied menu with lots of choices. 2 in our party had German style entrees, 2 had seafood. Everyone was happy.
Delicious food, great atmosphere!
Always a special place to go on summer evenings.
It was 15 minutes before our server came to speak with us and then another 15 minutes before our first drinks arrived (in a half filled restaurant) and one of our drinks had a bug in it and had to be sent back. The filet was very good, but the crab stuffed shrimp had an unknown flavor and my wife was ill the next day. Can’t confirm it’s related, but possible.
One of the best fine dining meals I've had in a long time. We were treated like royalty. Prompt service, great food, wonderful lake views, a bit on the pricey side but all-in-all, just a wonderful evening.
Food was very good - a little pricey though. Service was very slow. The had a car show there that took up the entire parking lot for the restaurant. Had to park across the street.
Had dinner on the patio and watched the fireworks on the lake. Staff was exceptional! Great place to spend the evening. Will be back again!
Food was not very good- drinks were terrible . The hostess seemed bored and the poor waiters overworked.
This is an outstanding restaurant on a beautiful lake. The service and food is always first class. They are now offering a Sunday brunch menu besides the buffet and our selection was excellent and a good value. Will definitely return next Sunday.. the loyalty app is very helpful.
We requested the prime rib to be done "medium" and it was more "well done". The lobster didn't have much taste. The menu is very limited. Liked it when you had more of a selection. It was just okay. For the price would have expected better.
Expected better menu for father's day just the normal lunch menu
Great food, great service, great value and highly recommended.
It was a good time. Our 35th anniversery. Food was good, not great.
Was disappointed in that I ordered a Heieken, then later they said they don't carry that brand.
C'mon. An upscale place and no Heineken?
My wife's steak was considered good, but again nothing spectactular.
Seating was fine, lake view was outstanding.
Did not care for the weird fusion style music that was playing.
Always a treat to eat here. Beautiful surroundings, with courteous staff. Food was great!
Beautiful evening, table for 2 looking out at the lake. Our server, Delores was excellent! No rush and very attentive !!!
The food was delicious. The service was great! We had a wonderful time.
Food was overpriced for what you got. No soup or salad with a $30.00 plus meal is ridiculous. I order scallops and got 3 on my plate with spaghetti squash as a base. Although they were tasty, not a good value for $30.00. Service was good. Atmosphere was alright. Nice Lakeview!
Couldn’t have asked for anything better. The walleye was wonderful accompanied by jasmine rice and veggies that were crispy and not over cooked. The service was great. Very attentive. We were treating another couple and was very pleased we had suggested your restaurant.
This was a Mother’s Day brunch. It was overpacked, staff did what they could, but obviously short. Tables were crammed into every available inch. Not much variety for a brunch. May be good under different circumstances.
The costumer service and experience is always a 10 in my books when going to Seven Seas. My sister had her wedding reception there in 2018 and we have been going back for brunch frequently and tried to go to Mother’s Day this year and it didn’t fail to impress once again
mother's day brunch was a fantastic meal. I ate too much.
Always love their Mother’s Day Brunch! Great selection of food and beautiful view.
We went to Seven Seas for an early Mother's Day celebration on Saturday. I had made reservations for 5:30pm and we were seated at 5:30. Our waitress was great, but we didn't end up getting our food until 8:00pm which was a long time to wait considering I had made reservations. Overall, the food and service were great, but the time it took to get our food was too long.
The Seven Seas has made some beautiful updates! It’s location on the lake is ideal- you can watch the sunset over the lake as you have drinks. Be prepared for large portions and real food that does not waste a lot of time on odd combinations and silliness. Also, enjoy the slower paced relaxed atmosphere. This is not a fast food restaurant, it is a dining experience.
Our Sunday Brunch was perfect! Shannon our waitress was Attentive and everything was served very timely. We loved the family style. We all had the crab cake Benedict as our individual side. All the food was exceptional. Beautiful, bright and very clean dining room. Lovely grounds for pictures.
Great experience and meal for our group of 7 dinners.
The food and service were amazing as always! But to be honest, the hostess at the main desk was cold and unfriendly. A very drastic difference from the warm friendly hostesses for the upper level. It’s such a shame because it’s the first impression you get when checking in.
Our server,Laura H. was just delightful. Offered us complimentary beverages, and asked us to go to the area where the food was displayed. Very attentive, took a picture of us, she was sweet, and invited us back to visit this Summer. The food was delish. So nicely displayed with live flowers, everything the right temperature. My husband wanted to take the whole pan of mac and cheese home. I would love to know that recipie!!!! I want to make mention also, that we quickly exited the bar area to go outside, and I know I passed Barb, a server for many years. I didn't realize it was her until later in the day. She was a classmate of mine from Waukesha South, and I surely would have liked to say hello. Please pass this on to her. I remember her from the days at the Gasthaus, as well. She is a wonderful and efficient server.
