We had a great meal on Friday. The food was fantastic and the service very good but there were a few confusing moments of who ordered what for us and the tables around us, think this was due to a new person in the team through so expect this is a short term blip only. I would go back.
What a beautiful and discreet little place, hidden from the main path, the room will soon be reallocated and the restaurant will be back at its original place after months of renovation.
The food is exceptional so is the wine list. Prices are reasonable for the food and of course crazy for the wines, however, I had a Meursault Perrieres and a Clos Vougeot that almost cancel the inconvenient of being born...The plating is very creative and not pretentious, beautiful, the layers of flavors are exceptional, the choice of ingredients and texture remarquable. One of my favorite place in London. The chef is a very nice gentleman, humble, welcoming. The staff is very present without being too invasive, perfect synchronization, casual chat. The bar is also nice producing the very best Negroni in town.
Seven Park Place is not a place to feed yourself, nor is it a place to stuff yourself, although we left there stuffed. It has been the single best and more impressive culinary experience of our lives.
We ordered the Gourmand menu, and instead of the standard listed menu, of about 7 items, we received 10 courses.
I'm gluten intolerant, and the restaurant took care of me, removing unacceptable items and ingredients, and also supplying us with delicious bread.
Each course was between very good and excellent, while several were beyond amazing. Flavor explosions in the mouth. The most notables were the scallops with lemon gel and lemon peel shavings, the lobster tail with cauliflower, but the pièce de résistance was the apple desert.
This was the apple that got Adam and Eve thrown out of the garden of Eden, and deservedly so.
On the merit of this single dish, I would award the Michelin star.
Service was excellent, and although it was moved to the library due to renovations, the ambiance was excellent, very private and quiet.
It was a pleasure from the first bite to the last bite and sip of coffee.
And the price was very reasonable, especially for this level of food and service.
An excellent lunch with friends. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
The food and service were faultless. I plan to return again.
Such a great restaurant. Food was superb, staffs were nice and place was luxurious
Starter portions could do with being smaller. We were full by the time the main course came. Service was impeccable.
The service was exemplary and stood out against some other similarly regarded restaurants.
The restaurant is temporarily in The Library - small and cosy. For couples it’s good, though not for groups. You are technically in the basement of the hotel but they have done well with the space available.
The food was very good, especially considering they catered for veggie and low gluten. Although, I do think a couple of the dishes seemed tasty because of the salt and sweetness rather than any special flavour.
Overall, a very good experience.
The food was excellent, the staff were very attentive but unobtrusive. We were delighted by the amuse-bouches. However, I was disappointed not to be seated in the library, during the restaurant renovations, as is advertised on the web site. We joined three other couples in an unexceptional side room, each couple seated awkwardly side by side at a too large table. No effort had been made to decorate the tables or to create a cosy atmosphere for each couple. It did detract from the overall experience, which is a pity.
Beautiful food and attentive table staff. My only complaints were a stone still in a cherry that could have broken a tooth and the unnecessary call at 9pm the week before we went to check of we were still coming.
Absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced for the 3 course lunch, service was also great - thanks!
Still worth the Michelin star for the gourmand menu. The wine selections were well chosen and interesting.
Based on past visits our expectations were very high indeed. The two of us looked forward to a great lunch and we were not disappointed - the whole experience was perfect in every way. The food was sheer delight (and that means all the dishes on the set lunch menu - there was a choice of two in every section and since we shared every dish we both sampled the whole menu!), the service was very professional, the sommelier did us proud with his selection of wine for every course and the ambiance was just right for reminiscing about our 52 years together. So, not surprisingly, we look forward to our next visit. Please accept our most sincere thanks.
Excellent! The food is very tasteful and done very nicely.
Thank you for wonderful lunch and hospitality. Enjoyed every minute of it and will definitely recommend to my friends.
Outstanding food, service and ambiance. Ther were six of us and we had just arrived from the airport. I had the scallops as an appetizer and the sea bass s the main course. Both were very flavorful and wonderfully presented. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. I strongly recommend this excellent restaurant .
Everything was perfect from start to finish. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. the lamb dish while great overall, the sweatbread taste was masked by the deep fried breadcrumbs
Beautifully appointed surroundings, friendly, courteous and extemely effcient but unobtrusive staff and wonderful food, exquisite in both taste and presentation. A delightful experience.
Sorry, we expected more from a Michelin star restaurant.
The food and presentation was first class and the waiters where attentive to our requirements once they had fully taken on board that we were waiting for service
I eat at many Michelin Star restaurants but this restaurant is amazing. My starter meal with pork did not look very please but tasted magnificent. The only thing I ate that was not 200% was the appetizer cold soup and the coffee martini was not one of the best I have had. But otherwise everything everything, from butter, service, appetizers, decor and so on was spot on! Amazing!
Wonderful intimate restaurant. Excellent food and attentive staff
The setting, service and overall ambience were superb. The food while brilliantly cooked and presented was somewhat disappointing owing to our inability to order à la carte. Because we were a table of 5 or more, buried in the small print of the booking confirmation was a statement that the table had to have the menu gourmand which is never our choice. Further, the choice of dishes as an overall composition was poor. Among the numerous courses were confit pork, pan fried foie gras and duck, followed by a chocolate mousse desert - all far too rich for a dinner that finished at 11.15pm. Having said that, we do like the restaurant and will be back, but only ever for à la carte!
One of my favorite restaurants in London ! Love it very much !
Perfect in every way.
Intimate and informal atmosphere, attentive but not intrusive service. Genuinely Michelin star quality food and remarkable wine list. Although went for the a la carte 3 course dinner it effectively became a 6 course meal with all the extras inserted in between. At £75 per head the food was ridiculously good value given the amazing standard.
Will definitely be returning!
nice meals，not best but good for value.
Excellent - memorable food and wine. Lovely location for birthday.
Our second visit to Seven Park Place and we were not disappointed. Excellent food and service and certainly worth a visit.
Fantastic! We went for lunch on Friday and found a brilliant menu. The wine included option is gtreat as the marriage is perfect.
This restaurant is amazing. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Also has a very good wine selection but obviously was expensive. Good place to take someone on a special occasion especially if you prefer it on the quiet side as the place we were seated was a small intimate room.
My wife and I were treated to a voucher for lunch at Seven Park Place as a Christmas gift. Having no prior knowledge of the restaurant we were pleasantly surprised by its unique location, ambience, food and service. We both chose the same dishes with matching wine pairing. Smoked haddock to start, cod for the main and chocolate brownie for dessert. All courses were excellent and waiter service and attention was second to none. We shall definitely recommend to our friends and family. Thank you !!.
Thoroughly excellent time - we were really well looked after and its most certainly one of the nicest rooms I have dined in.
If it's just the quality of the food you are after, its not too bad at all, but not on a par with a 3 star michelin restaurant (although the service, room and ambience were better than 3 star!)
We are Londeners but were unaware of this charming little restaurant hidden away down a quiet little street in St. James. It is part of a hotel and there is a relaxed welcoming feeling from the moment of your arrival at the bottom of the steps with a doorman holding an umbrella to keep out the rain. The food and the wine were total perfection and the generous supply of amuse bouches & lovely goodies with the coffee added to that cosseted feeling.
This was our second visit to this restaurant and I have to own up to some trepidation beforehand - the two of us enjoyed the first experience so much that the only movement (should there be any) we expected, or rather were afraid of, was south. We were both delighted to find the restaurant exceeding our high expectations on every level. This was our monthly treat and we were looking forward to leisurely lunch with outstanding service, beautifully presented, delicious food and wine, not to mention quiet conversation in comfortable surroundings. Our expectations were more than fulfilled in every way - the set lunch is definitely incredibly good value and, having been to many restaurants of similar standard, it is only the second time I am able to say that this restaurant is outstanding in every way - from now on it is going to be our equal favourite establishment to go to for a superb lunch. Thank you all very much for making our lunch such an enjoyable experience.
Very good restaurant with great ambiance services and food
Everything is wonderful here. The rooms where you dine, the food and the service. Nothing could be faulted and we can't wait to go back.
I can't fault any part of our fabulous experience at Seven Park Place. The team are all super friendly and knowledgeable on the menu. The food was outstanding, the wine was excellent and the extra touches such as the amuse bouche, pre dessert, petit fours, really made the evening. Special thanks for the added touch for the birthday we were celebrating.
A friend and I lunched at Seven Park Place which is tucked away in the St James' area of Mayfair. We chose from a set priced menu and although there were only two choices in both the starter and main course section it was still difficult to decide what to eat because it all sounded delicious. When the food arrived it proved to be just that. We chose also to have each course accompanied with a 'suitable' wine and so the whole experience was delightful. Add to that the impeccable service from Simeon who explained what we were eating and drinking so knowledgeably. The petit fours served with the coffee finished our meal beautifully.
