New Year's Eve Special Menus & Offers
In addition to our traditional dinner menu, we'll be offering a beautiful 6 oz CAB filet paired with a charbroiled Maine lobster tail, accompanied by whipped yukon gold potatoes and creamed brussels sprouts. The bar will be offering several signature Champagne cocktails to top off the evening.
Patio seating was very pleasant. Food was excellent…pork tenderloin, chicken, and branzino fish. All deliciously seasoned. Kudos to chef. Service was just okay…waitress was pleasant but not knowledgeable.
Food was delicious, and our server was really kind and helpful!
Apps loved them; main dishes lacked flavor.
As always, just perfect
I love going to Seven Lamps because it has a wonderful outdoor sitting area, delicious food and very friendly staff. It's one of our favorite places!
Made a reservation for 7:30. Got there a little early and was seated immediately. The hostess and waiter were both very nice and got our orders in and food out very quickly.
We had such a fantastic experience at Seven Lamps that we were sort of left scratching our heads. Did Seven Lamps mistake one of us for a celebrity? Were they practicing for some sort of high-level competition? That's how good the service and food were! We actually couldn't believe it.
We were there for a birthday dinner that couldn't have gone better. Our server, Franz, immediately treated us to a Champagne toast before we got started with a small plate of brioche toast in aji amarillo. The mild Peruvian sauce complemented the shrimp (perfectly succulent) and was soaked up by fluffy brioche. The octopus was also perfectly cooked with a sous vide, not a hint of rubberiness. We only tried one cocktail with our wine, but the mix of Thai basil and chiles spoke to a strong cocktail program.
The duck was my favorite with plantains three ways (roasted sweet, fried crispy, and mashed as a sauce), but the rest of my party preferred the two fillets of branzino, a flavor symphony of salty, spicy, sweet and earthy. House-made tagliatelle was well-executed and an admirable vegetarian option. At another restaurant, any one of these items would have been a standout, but there was really not a lackluster dish here.
At the end, sous chef Wesley introduced himself and sent out free dessert. I can't say enough about what a true pleasure this meal was. Even though I'm still a bit puzzled as to why everything was so over-the-top exceptional, I think the most likely scenario is that the team is passionate about what they do and truly enjoys giving people a good experience.
Food is delicious! Hip and casual. We love it!! Shrimp appetizer is unbelievably good and cheese board is the perfect starter to share. Salmon was cooked to perfection
Shrimp was amazing & okra was great! Steak was not so good. Servers took longer to take our orders as if they forgot about us. Once we got their attention, service was great from there. Hostess was very fast & accommodating.
Great staff. Manager. Good outside seating.
I like seven lamps due to the ambiance. However, there are not too many options on their menu and they are overpriced.
The food was horrible. I would not recommend this restaurant.
Service was delayed and sub-par, but the food was better than "very good". Pumpkin hummus was expertly executed. Salmon and Duck entrees were both flavorful and beautifully plated. We ordered fries to share for good measure and they were crispy and delicious. We cleaned our plates. Dark inside. Large outdoor patio as well. Many restaurants to choose from in Buckhead and will return to this one.
The food was great. The service waivers a bit near closing but was good overall. There was a horrible sewage smell that came up every once in awhile.
Reliably good. My go-to lunch place.
Food was creative and good. We sat on the patio for lunch. Nice vibe.
Where do I start??…. Found this restaurant on Open Table.. decided to try it based on the 1,000’s of positive reviews..
They didn’t disappoint.. extremely eclectic menu.. fresh ingredients…
And the service… top notch… Frans was extremely pleasant and attentive and the way he describe the menu items was as if I were listening to poetry being recited .. #Impressed
Great food great staff
Good food and service.
My wife and I had 2 appetizers (pimento cheese spread; octopus); branzino and pork tenderloin for our main course; snd a shared dessert (bread pudding). Each of these had a high level of food quality and was excellently prepared. I also had 2 glasses of wine to complement the food.
The server (Alijah) was attentive, with good timing and never obtrusive.
From beginning to end, this was one of the best meals I’ve had in any major US city. Really, 5 stars.
Great place to dine outside late summer or early fall. Waiters wear masks, tables are spaced well
The food and service were great! I enjoyed the pimento cheese board and chicken breast dinner. Nice ambiance.
Group of 9 with various entrees and we were all very pleased! Smoked chicken salad was fabulous.
Excellent service, food, ambience, and overall experience. I highly recommend it. Our servers were kind, attentive, and offered suggestions since we were all first-timers.
The experience was really nice. It was noisy inside. But the staff and hostess were very friendly.
excellent food and service... a wonderful place to gather
Food was tasty, interesting and well done. Service was attentive but not intrusive.
we really like this restaurant! the small plate menu is our favorite. we enjoyed pumpkin seed hummus (seasonal!), octopus, moules et frites (mussels and fries), and brussels sprouts. All was good. The brussels are exceptional! Great bar. Relaxed service, in a good way. Seven Lamps is close to our home so we consider it a neighborhood gem.
This restaurant is a hidden gem! Great appetizers, drinks and entrees. We really enjoyed our dining experience. Everything on the menu is delicious! We’ve dined here twice & have never been disappointed. We started with the pimento cheese appetizer, my son had the tuna appetizer & my husband had the plantains and all 3 were delicious! We had the duck as an entree & the burger & both were so good!! The service is amazing! Love this place!!
Food was ok
A lil slow - we are from New Orleans and are used to a slower pace.
Not sure what is going on here..not our first rodeo here at all …
Ambience awful inside … high ceilings .. you know there is noise but the loud clanging of unintelligible music??
Pours were less than average ,
For those who don’t want alcohol… they do not serve iced Tea… really ?
The okra was excellent… we should have left here…
The fries came out cold and limp… on more than one plate..the buns stale …
the Tagliatelle… where was the pasta? The description of this dish said NOTHING about garlic.. it was so overwhelming along with the salt 2 bites in and no more…
Absolutely blown away with how poor this place was .. especially when we have been several times and it was not like this …
Super slow service and when it was available it was pretty minimal but efficient I suppose. Food was good. Good Bloody Mary and awesome French fries
Outstanding service and food
Great atmosphere and service. Drinks and food AMAZING.
Perfect spot for outdoor lunch with a friend visiting from out of town! American fare with a little twist and reasonably priced.
Great food. Excellent service. The patio is amazing
I think I had higher expectations which is why I think my experience was just okay. I would potentially go back though. Potentially.
It was a bad service experience. I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere, and they have done a really good job creating a fun vibe. The service was very subpar. We called ahead to let them know that we had pulled into the wrong valet line, and they were very disrespectful about it. After we arrived, the hostess was very short and told us we would be seated in a minute. After waiting about 20 minutes we were finally seated. It took about 15 minutes at the table for our server to come over and bring water. He rarely returned after that and our orders. Overall, the food was really good, but the service ruined the trip for me.
This was our first visit to Seven Lamps and we really enjoyed it! The only reason I took away points for service was because it took a long tome to get our main course. But when it came out, it was delicious and very hot! Our server, Elijah, was very friendly and attentive. He came by to check on us even when the food was slow to come out. My cocktail was also really tasty! Will look forward to returning soon!
