Seven Glaciers is usually a must have experience for those visiting Anchorage or Girdwood. The Tram ride up the mountain is spectacular, and the views are exceptional. However, everything after that was pretty downhill on this trip. The service was ridiculously slow and rude. The food was mediocre. In comparison, Lucy's, the student-learning, fine-dining restaurant at UAA, has more innovative and better tasting food. The crab legs were overcooked and dry; the crab cakes were okay but nothing special; the bisque was tasty; and the baked Alaska was dry and forgetful. The fruit crisp/cobbler was one of the better parts of the meal. Overall, the ambiance and the view/ride were the redeeming aspects of this meal.

Love the Fizz!!
The noise levels were appropriate and the lighting was nice and offered a peaceful place to eat. The bartender who created the Fizz was so nice and polite. Thank you

Seven Glaciers is truly fine dining at is best in Alaska. Although the menu for lunch on Sunday is limited, everything on the menu is excellent. Two of us had the seafood special and the Yellow Eye Rock Fish was perfectly prepared. The burre blanc sauce was a great compliment without being overpowering. The flat iron steak was cooked to order and the accompaniment was excellent. The salmon melt was wonderful. The bread was very good and the balance was wonderful. We had king crab and crab cakes for appetizers and the king crab was very good. The siraccha sauce and pickled cucumbers with the crab cakes were amazing. Spicy but very nice. We all shared the Baked Alyeska desert and it was very nice in small format. Perfect for sharing and a great finish to a great meal.

The food was excellent as was the sunset view. This was our second time back and our server did an exceptional job in spite of the large table with incredible high maintenance parents and children. It was obvious that the "other" large group table was stressing out our server and time that could have been better spent spread out amongst all the other tables in her area, was spent preventing a meltdown with a rude, entitled mom and her princess daughter. The food was exceptional, most particularly the bisque and meat dishes, and martini was perfect. We'll be back, but hopefully the table of snobs won't. Life's to short to be mean to wait staff.

Beautiful restaurant. We were not impressed with the food, I think we had much higher expectations. We did not appreciate the servers moving tables and cleaning the carpet while we were trying to enjoy an intimate dinner together. We really liked our server Karie, she was amazing.

The scenery was breathtaking. Everyone was very nice from the moment we walked into the hotel, to pick up our Tramway and the Seven Glaciers staff. The servers were amazingly friendly and knowledgeable. We did try the "Fizz" drink which was very good and came highly recommended from a previous patron of the restaurant.

Service was great and the ambiance was amazing. The food, unfortunately, was lacking. Seafood was overcooked, the steak was cooked perfectly but the sauce was lacking. All in all, it was a good time but i had expected more.

The meal was outstanding. The service waa great. Our only critique would be that our chef given, mushroom soup that was served in a little shot glass was a small sip. We thought maybe the glass was used on the wrong side?? but the soup was outstanding. Just wish we had more than we were given.

Service was slow at first, improved after we asked for our waitress that we are ready to order. My mothers paella was undercook(the rice) and we know rice for paella from a spanish heritage. Full of flavor food kudos to the chef.

Seven Glaciers was great. The food was exciting and delicious. The staff was conscious to space out guests for privacy. You can dress up (we did) or come in ski gear (the table next to us). The staff was professional and non-judgmental. It was perfect.

Seafood was dry. Value of food was not great. Steak was excellent and cooked to specifications. Service was excellent and professional. Formal dining is the obvious goal of the owners and they have fulfilled that goal even perhaps with a slight leanig toward pretention. Except for the steak,however, the food was not up to par.

Food was phenomenal. Definitely worth the price. Was a bit disappointed in the appetizer that we ordered, which was prawns. The taste was great but was disappointed in the size. I was thinking they’d be bigger instead of small. Service was fantastic.

I rarely write negative reviews, but this was truly a disappointing dining experience for a special New Year's Eve dinner. Despite having the appearance of a great restaurant and the ingredients to create a fine dining menu, our food was bland and service was very limited. We were asked to wait at the bar despite having a reservation as they were running behind, while numerous tables in the dining area sat empty and never filled for the evening. It was often difficult to catch the attention of our server, and multiple requests for sides and beverages were forgotten. One friend's caviar was shockingly flavorless, while another friend's halibut was overcooked, bland, and oddly oily. The bison and steak entrees were average at best. No one was ever rude, but that's really a very low bar for a meal at this price point. For a special event or nice meal, I would recommend dining in Anchorage if possible, or at Jack Sprat / Double Musky if in Girdwood.

The food was absolutely amazing. The crab cakes are pretty good, but could use some work. The bison rib eye was flawless and the wagyu was outstanding as well. For such a nice restaurant I was surprised that it was difficult at times to get our waitresses attention. Also, we ordered the risotto but it did not come with our food and we asked for a desert menu early and never received it. Everything on the menu was absolutely top
notch, but I have to admit that I would have liked a few more options to choose from for appetizers and entrees. Overall, we were extremely happy with the meal and the trip. Seven Glacierss is easily worth the money and effort and I look forward to going back again.
