WE loved the outdoor seating. Awesome service, delicious food.Definitely will go back!!
We had reservations at 830 . We were seated on time but it took over 30 minutes to get water and 45 to get a drink. Waiter had too many stations, got the feeling they were understaffed and not prepared for crowds.
We had a reservation at 8.30pm on a Friday night and had to wait for 50 minutes to be seated. The manager was rude and unapologetic about this tardiness. The food is good and the other staff is nice, I only hope that the manager learns how to treat customers.
Love this place, it's always a go to restaurant for us
Went here for dinner. The part I love here is that they have weekend happy hour. Great deal. 5 dollar cocktails at the bar and apps. However, you can’t bring your drink to the table. We sat in the bar area and they still stayed it has to be at the physical bar to get HH which is ridiculous...because the bartender is the waitress for your table. Service was also slowwwww, staff was rude and didn’t bring us refills of any drinks or bread which we had to ask for, in addition to took forever to give us the check
For dinner we each got four meals - fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp, chicken parmigiana, strozzapreti con pesto, and cannelloni du ricotta e spinaci. Each dish was sub par. Small portions, shrimp on both meals was soggy and the pasta - was in no way, shape or form “homemade” with so many other options on 14th Street and so many better options in DC..that are honestly less expensive than this place. Save your money and go else where for dinner.
The food was prepared very well. The service was professional. I felt the hostess was a little grumpy and slow to greet us. But, in fairness, it was 4 pm on a Sunday, an odd time and there may have been a "shift change" underway. And the Sunday brunch crowd probably exhausts everyone.
Food and a drink Options were very delightful. Service was outstanding.
service not too good, but food is exellent. worth the price
Each time I dune at Sette Osteria I have a wonderful experience. The host and wait staff are all friendly and attentive.
Food wise, everything is delicious my favorite being the lasagna.
Went here for St. Patrick's Day brunch, the bottomless mimosas are $15 and well worth it. It's a cute restaurant in Logan Circle with a great ambiance. I had the fritatta and loved it, my friends had similarly good meals. Pretty average pricing for DC, but again, well worth it. Unfortunately not close to a metro stop, but it's only about 10 minutes from the U Street metro exit.
Awesome service. Can’t remember my waiters name he was a young Serbian fellow. AWESOME!!!
I thought the atmosphere and ambiance in the front of the restaurant was vibrant and exciting. The back room where we were sitting was a little more mellow but that worked fine for my table as we were having a nice family meal. Appetizers of mussels and Carpaccio Di Manzo were great- fresh and flavorful. The pasta dishes we had for dinner were underwhelming. I ordered the cannelloni which tasted like an undercooked frozen dinner. The pasta and ricotta were luke warm at best and the mozzarella cubes on top (not fresh) wasn’t even melted. The other past dishes were better received but not necessarily notable. I would try this restaurant again for the atmosphere but maybe order some of the small plates and pizza.
All our meals were terrific and our waiter did a great job. We’ll be back!
Food was very good. Manager was able to address a dinning issue in a very professional and satisfactory manner.
Canned ingredients. I was very surprised to see canned ingredients used on their pizza considering the restaurant looked nice and the dough was pretty authentic. But canned, flavorless mushrooms and artichokes really brought the quality down dramatically. It was on my list of places to try, but I do not see myself going back there. Big disappointment. However, our waitress was wonderful and even brought out a special birthday treat.
This is a very good authentic Italian place to eat. I have been there a lot for Happy Hour as well as family dinner
We wanted to restaurant close to Theater J, for an 8pm show. We arrived promptly for our 6:30pm reservation and were seated right away. We enjoyed the arugula/fennel salad, a wild mushroom flatbread, and ink squid (homemade) pasta, and we were out by 7:35, which was perfect.
Excellent seafood choices (including grilled, not fried, calamari) ; authentic Italian-style lentil soup; fresh and tasty bread; nicely seasoned marinara sauce; good selection of Italian beers, including Moretti Rossa and Menabrea.
We dined after theatre in the area. Nice menu choices. The waiter got my order wrong, but it was resolved. Terrible bread, or lack there of, it was a basket of small squares of flatbread; they need good Italian bread. Food was OK, nothing special, but it was fresh. Other places in the area are more interesting.
Always the best time! Great service and bottomless mimosas!
We didn’t get seated until 45 minutes after our reservation. Then half way through the meal, we were asked to switch tables. They did bring us dessert on the house but I would have preferred quick seating, especially when we had to get home to a babysitter.
Sette Osteria was excellent! They were able to accommodate a large group and our group was very happy with the experience. The food - especially the handmade pastas - were superb. One small issue was the air temperature in the restaurant was too hot.. but that might have been because we had a big group packed in on a crowded Saturday night.
Setup beautifully for Valentines Day.
This is my go-to brunch spot when I have family visiting. The brunch menu has really fair pricing, there are a ton of options, and the entrees are very filling. I went to Sette Osteria for dinner for the first time when family came to visit. It was a little pricier than the brunch menu, but on the less expensive side of the average price on 14th street. It got pretty noisy, but there was a large group seated behind us. Still one of my go-to spots.
Had a great family dinner. Very accomodating and nice staff.
Impeccable service and food. It’s a bit loud so hard to have a conversation. However, with that it was still a great experience. I’ll definitely be back.
Great food and service. Only complaint is candles on table burned out and they did not offer to relight them.
Always a great meal!

We had an 8pm reservation but weren’t seated until 8:45
Went for my husbands birthday and the walk from the metro was longer than expected but so worth it. Lasagna was great! He was definitely happy with the food and of course catching up with friends.
OK food. Good wine list. Whole fish specials recommended.
Excellent food, excellent service. Dishes had a good about of vegetables to accompany the main component. A very pleasant experience. We will go back.
Food was good. Our sever was super friendly and helpful. We had two guest with dietary restrictions and he was happy to help us navigate the menu. I’d definitely try this place again.
Sette Osteria was able to accommodate 12 of us on fairly short notice. The food came out in a timely manner event though there were so many of us and everyone enjoyed their meal. They also gave us a complimentary tiramisu for our friend's birthday which was a nice touch. Prices here are very reasonable as well, especially for D.C.
We go to Sette a lot with our two-year-old son. They are very nice to him and very accommodating. But the adults like the food too!
Made a reservation for this place because it had the best bottomless mimosa/bellini deal in the area, and I wanted to have a nice brunch with friends visiting from out of town. Service was very quick and got right down to the matter and that is something I was a fan of right away. One other friend and I ordered bottomless bellinis and the drinks were definitely free-flowing (we both got so hungover afterwards).
My friends ordered a pasta dish and flatbread and I ordered the brunch tart. We all tried a little bit of each other's dishes and I have to say I had entree envy because I definitely enjoyed the pasta and flatbread more than my brunch tart.
Still, it was a very enjoyable experience overall and we left very happy and drunk. I would love to come back and try some of their pasta dishes!
It was great.
Really love this spot. I can always get a great seat and the food is awesome. Service is always delightful as well.
We went for the NYE dinner and it was great! They do make holidays special!
