When we dine at Sette it feels like we are in Italy! Authentic Italian food prepared to perfection, excellent service, and great ambience. This has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants!

Only negative is with scheduling of reservations. We arrived at 7:50 here for a 7:45 reservation. The party preceding us at the table finished around 8 so, given the lack of waiting area inside the small restaurant, we had to wait for 15 minutes outside on the sidewalk. This would not be optimal in the rain or on a hot, muggy day/evening. Perhaps lengthening the time between reservations would mitigate this problem.

Truly an exceptional dinner! Met a friend for dinner to catch up and were not disappointed. It was my friend’s first time there and I know it won’t be her last. We had no business having dessert as we shared a few dishes and were full but so glad we did. Pricey but worth every penny! Exceptional service as well.

Great local BYOB. Was a little disappointed in the menu selection this time. Was surprised to see things like winter greens and more fall to winter type of appetizers and entrees. Would have liked to see more seasonal items offered like zucchini flowers? Things with fresh tomatoes etc.

Wonderful evening. We started out seated at a table by the window however a woman with two Irish Setter service dogs sat at table next to us. We are major dog lovers and empathetic to anyone in need of a service dog but unfortunately, the dogs smelled very bad and my husband started sneezing. The waiter was very understanding and we were seated at another table. While it was not by the window, we appreciated the ability to change tables.

They brought warm bread to the table with a nice olive oil. I did not partake but my husband was in his glory. I started out with the salad of winter greens and it was just fantastic. They easily accommodated my request to forego the almonds. I really wanted to try one of the pastas but not as my entrée. The waiter advised that they could give me a half portion to go with my entrée. I chose the pasta with broccoli rabe and the pasta was al dente as I like it and the broth was excellent. For the entrée I went with the Sea Bass. It must have been cooked in a cast iron skillet because they got a perfect char on the skis and it was cooked to perfection. It was a very generous portion of fish accompanied by spinach and two small potatoes. After the salad and pasta I only ate half of my entrée and enjoyed the leftovers the next day.

My husband had the risotto special which he said was a bit lacking in flavor but good. He had the halibut which was cooked to perfection but when compared to my Sea Bass, was not as flavorful.

The service was spot on. The only slight negative is that we brought two very expensive bottles of wine, a white and a red, and the waiter put the wrong corks in each for us to take home. I did not think it was a big deal but my husband said that is a major faux pas in the wine world. The owner, Alan, always makes his way to every table and is extremely gracious. No doubt that his attentiveness has made this one of the very best restaurants in our area. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Food was very delicious. Portions were reasonable. Didn’t leave hungry. Liked the BYOB. Service was ordinary. Host pointed to the table from across the room and said sit there. Didn’t speak to the menu at all or make recommendations. Very expensive. Dinner for two with gratuity was $140 and I brought my own alcohol. You would be going there for the food.

-Fell short of our expectations. Saw reviews where it was rated Top 100 in US and certainly didn't have that experience. Small dining room, nice ambiance, however, the service certainly wasn't anything memorable. Waiter/host wasn't attentive. Table utensils were left for next course, water was warm, had to ask for bread. Food lacked flavoring, small portions(3 small shrimp in appetizer for $18). Risotto was tasty, probably best part of the meal. Salmon was over cooked. Appears the staff shut off the AC towards the end of our meal. Did not stay for dessert.

Met our friends here for dinner. The food was outstanding, service excellent. The chef and owner, Mr. Russo, made a point of introducing himself and welcoming us to his restaurant. My friend has allergies, and Mr. Russo chatted with her to make certain that the food was prepared properly for her. All in all an excellent restaurant. The only negative was that the second seating was coming in at 7:30 and we had to leave.

We had dinner with friends, and as usual the service and food was excellent. We all had smoked Norwegian salmon as an appetizer, and it was delicious, served with thin sliced onions and capers. Some of us had the haddock entree. It was simply extraordinary, perfectly cooked, moist and light in texture. For those interested in fresh fish, cooked to perfection, Sette is the place to go. Others had the lamb ragu pasta, which is also very special. All in all, a wonderful experience.

Perfect. We shared a delightful ricotta gnocchi appetizer. The lamb ragu trofie was excellent, and the poached sea bass was perfect. We finished with a freshly prepared profiterol, simply outstanding. And, the service, as always, was very professional.

The ambiance lacks charm and coziness, the frigid tiles that cover the floor produce unwanted echoes in the restaurant, amplify the sound, making the space too loud. I had the tasting menu which is basically a dish from the menu without the option to choose. The food was bad. The fish had an odd flavor and mushy texture, the shrimp had a weird chemical taste. The vegetables were tasteless, poor quality. The service was very good.
