My wife and I ate at Sessions on the last night of "outdoor only" service. The large outdoor patio (with heaters) had a better "feel" than the parklets with nice views of the Letterman park. All of the servers were personable and very careful when interacting with us. The food was excellent (salmon and burger) and parking was easy nearby on Lyon St. Highly recommended!

The steak comes from Waygu beef in Marin County, and the particular cuts are always in rotation, so please be sure to ask your server for that information on your next visit.
The staff friendly and knowledgable. the kitchen staff turns out really good food. i enjoyed the grilled salmon. My friend had a burger with over-the-top french fries

Great outdoor dinner at Sessions. Tables spaced far apart and scannable menus on the tables. Enjoyed yummy cocktails and a little gems salad with citrusy grilled shrimp. Very pleasant experience.

Thank you for a wonderful dining experience. All necessary precautions were taken for customer and staff safety. Patrick, our bartender, prepared great cocktails and offered great suggestions for draft beer and wine.
The Potato Leek Soup was creamy and delicious. The Beet Salad was cold and crisp - the pepitas and Pt. Reyes Bleu Cheese were a nice addition.
The Fish and Chips were hot and crispy - loved the slaw! My husband enjoyed that awesone cheeseburger fully loaded. Hoping to return when we can dine indoors. The desserts were divine!

The host was very accommodating, seating us inside. The waiter was great, with a wonderful knowledge of wine, and provided fantastic service. Our dinners were excellent, snd the deserts were especially good, and quite inexpensive. Although we live in San Francisvo, this was our first visit to Sessions. We will definitely be back, and soon.

It was an amazing experience. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody. The food was amazing, the service was outstanding, and the ambience was relaxing comfortable and you could actually hold a conversation without too much surround noise.

Impossible burgers with disgusting tomato sauce and no fresh lettuce nor fresh tomatoes. Waiter asked twice if bread pudding was what was wanted and twice we repeated to him that we wanted creme brulee yet bread pudding was served. Price was too high for the meal!!!

Excellent service, food is outstanding, lovely outdoor patio seating. Very health conscience. Have been for lunch and brunch which I highly recommend. I have not yet been for dinner but will plan on going soon.

We were outside with heat lamps. Fish and chips were great. Also Skywalker pinot - good wine to order.

Good food, great service, and nice atmosphere. Menu was a little small and limited and kitchen closes on the early side. But, overall, a very nice place to dine.

Nice patio. Lovely setting. The food was fine and our server was very nice ... but the whole dinner was rushed. They brought our appetizer (soup) with our entrees. When we tried to order a second round of drinks 45 minutes in (around 7:45) the bar was closed and before we were finished with entrees they told us the kitchen was closing and we needed to order desserts if we wanted them. Our check came soon after, before we were finished eating our entrees. No dessert. No coffee. The whole place was closed and dark by 8:15. If they don't want to serve people in the evening, they shouldn't take reservations or seat people they don't intend to serve. I'd recommend with hesitation, with the warning to make sure they are staying open long enough to enjoy your meal.
Pleasant staff, solid food, nice ambiance. Typical SF prices, but still pretty pleased with the experience. Thank you!

Every things was really good, just be aware that the 90 min reservation is the limit so no extended time accommodations. Otherwise, food, drinks, and services were really good.

Yes, with the current guidelines we have to work with, and the reduced seating capacity, we are having to set 90 minute time limits on all of our reservations. Sessions in the Presidio is fast becoming my fave spot. The fried chicken sandwich is delish - it's a big serving so you may not have room for dessert. Do try the French Rose - it's a great drop! Service, as always, is wonderful!

Been here 2x now within ~30 days. Love the outside seating, especially during this pandemic. Restaurants in the Marina, while fun & exciting, do not seem safe for social distancing meals. However, our entrees were "lacking". I ordered a beet salad, but it was mostly endives. My companion was disappointed in the size of her lunch salad - which she thought to be a "side salad" portion. Previous time I was there, also a so-so lunch. I'll be back for the ambiance, but hope the food quality improves.
The team here went above and beyond to ensure our experience was enjoyable. I had made a note in my Open Table res that this was a date, which I really wanted to go well. Everyone was extremely responsive and provided very pleasant, intuitive service. They gave us space to enjoy our afternoon without a lot of interruptions while always making sure glasses were full and plates were being enjoyed.

Everyone told us the hamburger was the best in town and they were right. Delicious hamburger with blue cheese with a side of perfectly salted fries. The outdoor patio was so enjoyable.

We were on the terrace which is very nice, but cold at lunch. More heaters are needed since the sun does not reach the terrace until afternoon.

Sessions has become my new favorite restaurant. Service is very good and I've been so often that I am now recognized. I've only been for lunch but when they can open for dinner-I'll try a dinner.

Wagyu dish was very mediocre. The cut was almost entirely fat, and the side of potatoes listed on the menu were actually just potato chips.
Excellent food and service with safe outdoor dining. Loved it and going back again this week!
I used to go to sessions at least once a week. They had the BEST little round cheese
things. They took all my faves off the menu. I’ve been back 3 weeks in a row. Fabulous grilled squid salad. Very happy. But bring back my cheese things. 🍷
