   Very professional staff. We were warmly greeted at the door and accommodated all of our needs, including a booster seat, request to eat on their patio, and arriving early for our reservation. Service was excellent and food was outstanding. Everything we ordered was tasty and would gladly order again. Only negative was staff doing repair work on an uneven table right next to where we were eating. There was plenty of space where diners weren't eating they could've been doing repairs, but the repairs were being made literally 12 inches away from where we were sitting.

   Dining on the patio was a wonderful experience. The huge windows let us enjoy the beautiful fall foliage while the overhead heaters kept us warm but not over- heated. The service was excellent. Our waiter recommended wines that were perfect for our meals. My salmon was so delicious - I can’t wait to return to have it again. The prices were a bit steep but , for a special occasion, it was a worthwhile splurge.

    We enjoyed Sessions very much. Trouble was it was too cool inside the restaurant (doors open on a cool San Francisco day in the high 50s-low 60s) so we asked to sit outside where there are heaters on the ceiling of the patio. Unfortunately it was still too cool, but we stayed there the heat and kept our coats on. Too bad. But the food was excellent (mussels-some of the best I have ever had, smoked salmon benedict-not hot enough when delivered and had them redo, and cheeseburger-perfect) and the service was very nice. It ended up being a success. We would go back again.

    It was a positive experience since we were seated immediately and able to switch from outside to indoor accommodations since ultimately we didn't bring our dog. The service was consistent and the food was delicious. My hamburger was cooked to perfection and everyone else was satisfying pleased with their meals. We will be returning.

    Great location. Lovely and spacious room. Welcoming bar and comfortable tables. The food was outstanding and the bar menu was extensive. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner.

    Everything was wonderful! Our group of 4 (with 2 dogs) had a vegan burger and tasty and hot fries. Salmon with potatoes. Muscles with a fantastic broth plus grilled bread to dip it up. I had the Cesar salad. It was very tasty but the toasted crumble topping had very hard pieces in there. (Hard on the teeth). I would order it again without that. Or with a side of grilled bread. And of course the puréed butternut squash was just perfect and hot in the bowl to the last spoonful. We'll be coming back again. Thank you for the dog treats and water bowl too!

    I was disappointed that we were not given the option of eating inside (apparently there was a large dinner party inside that night), despite having made reservations a week in advance. My group of 4 had to sit on the patio where, despite the overhead heat lights, it was chilly (this is November after all). 2 of our party who arrived early were given blankets when they complained about having to sit outside. Once we were all seated, the 2 who had ordered at the bar before being seated sipped on drinks, while the other 2 of us had only water. It took half an hour for me to get a glass of wine, which tasted disappointingly flat. The la vie en rose cocktails were better. The bolognese was delicious and so was the fried chicken breast sandwich, although the accompanying fries were a bit pale and bland. The service was slow, and it was difficult for us to know which dark-haired man was our waiter because both wore black masks. The mask also made it difficult for us to hear what he was saying. Despite the server's lack of attention, I will likely give Sessions another try to see if it was just an off night. The patio would be a nice option in the summer.

    The cuisine and ambience were lovely, and I appreciate being in a dining room where I don’t have to raise my voice to be heard. What made our evening exceptional — or rather, who — was our server, Sebastian. He was an expert on both the menu and sizing up his guests. He went out of his way to make excellent recommendations and then help my companion and me split two perfectly balanced entrées. Of course, he also convinced us to split two desserts! Sebastian made our evening special and delightful. The next time I dine at Sessions, I am specifically going to ask for and wait for him to be our server. he is the high priest of gastronomy!

    We arrived and were seated at a lovely outdoor table with a heater above us. The staff went out of their way to welcome our dog with a treat, a bowl of water and a blanket. The cocktails and wine were outstanding and we both had beef Bourgionne which was fabulous. We finished with dark chocolate mousse and it was delicious. The location is so pretty in the Presidio. We will be back!

    Skywalker Ranch wines are fantastic. The French winery not so much but the ones from the Italian winery are serviceable. The happy hour meatballs were very dry (fresh frozen?) and sent back. The oysters and the lamb chops were fantastic. Overall, mostly the same quality I’ve come to expect as I am a regular patron.

    My husband celebrated his birthday on the patio with 6 of his friends. They have been to the previous iteration of Sessions multiple times, so this was their first visit to the new version. While there weren't as many beers available, the ones that were were great, as was the wine. Not a fan of the cauliflower & brussels side dish, but the burger, Sessions waffles, mussels, and chilaquiles were all hits with the crew! Service was gracious, timely, and overall outstanding. Thanks, Sessions! We will be back!

    Love the food, the terrace and the staff at Sessions and always have a good time there - I think the kitchen must have been short of staff on Friday night as our food was very slow to come and not hot enough when it did - but this is a first in my experience here and it won't stop me going back - the food was still good and I think this was a one-off experience. Great menu - hard to choose what to eat!!

    Waiter was top notch. Covered heated patio was nice in the fog although lite too bright. The location was convenient when staying at the Lodge of the Presidio. The food was good, but not outstanding, Rare steak was served medium. Kennebec fries were garlic fries and likely frozen vs. fresh. Salad was huge which should be expected for $17. We had a rib-eye yesterday special, 2 steak frites and a halibut. Recommend the beignets which we enjoyed.

    I had the chicken sandwich which was too high to eat as a sandwich. By separating the pile , I was able to eat with a knife and fork. The Presidio of SF is a pleasant location to visit.
