   We celebrated a birthday. The food was not very good. Hamburger was cold. Five of us had meals that were meh. I I have had better at this restaurant and certainly brunch at other restaurants have been far superior. I let the restaurant know it was a birthday celebration and I had to ask if they had anything they could bring to the table as a dessert. The waiter had already brought the bill but, they did accommodate by bringing a beignet.

   It was my first time there. The people I dined with had been there before and said it’s usually very crowded. I liked that it wasn’t because it wasn’t loud and we were able to have a conversation. I would definitely come back when it’s warmer and eat outside.

   Excellent hamburgers perfectly cooked and accompanied by delicious hand cut fries. Reasonably priced wine and excellent cappuccinos. Our server was friendly and efficient. Too bad the nice patio wasn’t an option on this chilly day but we would highly recommend Sessions!

   5 gals dinned prior to concert at Palace of Fine Arts. Great food, ambiance and service. Our server Brandon was very sweet and patient with 5 chatty ladies. Definitely will be back soon, ideally on a nice evening to sit and enjoy the view.

   Sessions is really a review of two experiences. The outdoor terrace on a warm day is magnificent. To be indoors is ok at the bar, but other seating areas are bare, lacking in atmosphere and feel like an office canteen. Food is great and drinks choices from cocktails to wine and beer are adventurous and tasty. Go on a warm day and sit outside!

    this was a wonderful experience. excellent service and the food so good. we had 3 burgers and the pasta and it was delicious. we ate outside and that was a treat.

    Great burger, great steak, great salmon, but the hollandaise on the eggs Benedict did not taste fresh. Otherwise, everything good!

    My chicken sandwich was dry, dry, dry. I was with friends celebrating a reunion so it would have been awkward to complain. It was an awful meal.

    Have been to Sessions many times. Hamburger and Impossible burger are solidly reliable. Significantly fewer fries than usual. The food was solid but nothing really stood out. It was cold on the patio.

    Great surroundings, great reception, they paid attention to our table being a good one, the service was very attentive. My food this time was very good but the conversation was so great that I may have made the mistake of not eating it immediately so it dried a bit (it was chicken breast). I loved the fact the wine pairings were ready in the menu. The crème brulée was legit and good. I’ve been ordering that dessert in most restaurants I happen to go to that they serve it and this is a good one. Overall, this place has always been a great experience to me.

    Great spot for outdoor dining -- friendly, relaxed folks with a good menu and bar. Effective heaters and they are cool with dogs. Sweet spot!

    The wine I ordered was vinegary. I sent it back and ordered a Manhattan. It was OK. I ordered a steak medium rare but it was medium. I didn’t want to send it back, so I just ate it. I must say that all the other times I’ve eaten there the food has been MUCH better. Maybe an off night or maybe the chef was off. It wasn’t crowded, so can’t blame it on that. Anyway, disappointing.

    Food was fantastic and plates(pan fried salmon and beet salad) were generous. Only concern was that we were unable to get anything other than a 4pm reservation on Christmas Eve. OK, but the restaurant was practically empty when we arrived and remained so the whole time we were there. Initially we were seated in an area with a fair number of empty tables. So we asked to be seated at the bar. Waiter and bar tender were excellent. Bottom line problem seems to be in the reservation system.

    My second visit, and as become my favorite place. Everything is perfect. Will be back monthly, starting in January. Be nice if you carried Bombay "regular proof" gin.

    The food was fine. The service (waitress, greeters, bus help) were all warm, friendly and professional. The facility itself was under heated for a very cool day. The decor too felt stark and cool - too much so for my taste. The lights were also on the harsh side.

    Lovely place, but I hoped during dinner time, some of their" private dining rooms" have table cloths on them, especially when one is celebrating a special occasion on that day. to make it more elegant. The food was good but the service was so slow, but still I will dine again and still recommend this restaurant in spite of it.

    Good, as usual. Enjoyed our charming Spanish waiter, and the food we ordered, though we did have to wait too long for most items we requested -- especially considering it was early and not very crowded.

    Food, service, and cocktails were solid. The servers and hosts are always kind. We were seated in the side room this time. Never eaten in there before. Could be made to be a bit more welcoming and festive as far as ambiance goes. But, it continues to be a comfortable place to go...easy, no fuss. We'll go back.

    Food and service were good. Outdoor seating was a bit chilly even under the heat lamp since the heater wasn't directed at our table even though we were sitting directly beneath it. I like Sessions because it's a consistent experience and it's a great place to have a business meeting since it's not too crowded or noisy.
