Wonderful experience. I've wanted to eat here for over a decade and finally made it in!
Our server was very kind, helpful, and attentive. Both my boyfriend and I got pasta dishes and they were incredibly fresh and flavorful.
I hope, with all that's happening right now, they are able to weather through. I'd love to come again ♥️
The amount of food which we got for Portland Dining Month menu was really poor.
As usual we had a lovely meal! The food was fantastic! And the deserts were so yummy that we had to take one to go.
Happy hour burger is a delight. Perfectly prepared for the burger afficianado.
It was super
Awesome food and so glad they participate in Portland’s dining month as more people should try this spot. Seriously a big contender for one of my favorite restaurants in Portland.
We ate the Portland Dining Month menu and it was fabulous!
We enjoyed our girls afternoon out! However, the soup portions for lunch were a bit on the small side. It would be great if they came with a slice or two of bread, or if it was just a bit more! :)
We came with a toddler and were overwhelmed by the friendliness of the staff at receiving this little one at such a lovely restaurant . The children's menu was excellent (the pizza was a terrific value). Our main courses and appetizers were very good. The prices were excellent for the tastiness of the food . A happy evening wad had by all.
Lovely European vibe, great food, friendly attentive service
Genevieve did an excellent job and her friendly personality and service were out standing. Great food and atmosphere!
Fabulous as always! One of my favorite Portland restaurants.
Alejandro & Sarah did an excellent job of taking care of our every need. We felt very special.
Great place to go for a romantic. The food was excellent. Our sever Chad was great very attentive but didn't interrupt too much. We will be back!
Great food as usual. Perhaps a little short staffed today.
Our server was very attentive and provided a complimentary dessert off the menu for the birthday girl. It was a nice touch.
Went for a birthday dinner celebration. Server helpful in selecting a glass of wine, pleasant about splitting a half portion of pasta. Entrees delicious (lamb for my guest, duck for me) as were the desserts.
My girlfriend and I chose Serratto for Valentine's Day and were amazed with our experience. The food and ambiance were fantastic. I ordered the beef tenderloin and it was perfectly cooked. My girlfriend ordered the mushroom rissoto and it was excellent. Price was expensive but fair for the quality of food.
My fiancé and I visited last night for the third valentines in a row, and had an amazing experience with Erin! She is a wonderful asset to your team! Highly recommend!
A beautiful valentines experience
My birthday and Valentine's Day.
My wife and I went to Serratto to celebrate Valentine's. We were not disappointed, the food was delicious and the service was impeccable. We will definitely repeat. In fact, we are going to have our
50th Anniversary there in August.
The food was excellent and our server was amazing.
Wonderful meal! The beet salad, mushroom/ leek risotto and burger were amazing. I would come come
back another time.
I like most everything about Serratto. The service is great. The atmosphere is good. It’s not too loud. The only issue I had was with the food. Two different dishes were too salty. My entree and also the calamari. I do not eat a low salt diet. This was noticeably too salty. If it wasn’t for that, it would have been great.
I liked it so much, I’ll go back and try it again to see if it was an anomaly.
Nice place with good service. My caesar salad and risotto were very boring. My wife's beet salad and pasta were delicious. I thought the food was a bit pricey for what it was, but that's probably what food costs in the Pearl.
Hi, We have eaten at Serratto multiple times. It is one of our favorite restaurants. Our server on Saturday, Tony, made for a unpleasant experience. I really don't want him as our server in the future. It was a certain condescending attitude and miscommunications that upset me. IOt would be interesting to see other diners have concerns with Tony. If it wasn't for him I would definitely recommend and have recommended Serratto to friends.
Take care, Jim Motroni
We always love our time spent at Serrato sitting at the counter with Eric.
Way overpriced for the quality of food! Service was good. nice list of wine and drinks.
The food was just OK. We were expecting a far better experience. The price point was way to high for the quality. Had pasta with shrimp and lemon sauce. Shrimp was overcooked, little to no sauce.....didn’t bother to take it home. There are way too many excellent Italian restaurants in Portland to ever go here.
Serratto is one of our favorites but this visit didn't live up to expectations. Service was very slow and half our party was served well in advance of the others and the food was cold. We had been strong advocates recommending this restaurant but are not as enthusiastic now. We are hoping this was an off night and will be back to try again.
We have been coming here for several years usually with a pleasant experience. Tonight (a Friday) we arrived early to our reservation for two and were happy to see several open tables in the main dining room. Instead, the hostess led us to an overflow area in the back that had a couch, some easy chairs around end tables and what looked like patio furniture. We told the hostess this was not acceptable to us for a meal reservation and would like one of the open tables in the main dining room. She said she would check, but, on her return she told us it was either this or bar seating. We decided to leave and go somewhere that appreciated frequent patrons. An hour or so later, when returning to our car, we walked by Serratto and noted some of the same open tables in the dining room. I have had my suspicions that Open Table reservations could be viewed by some as low priority and I guess this goes to that point. A shame they try to leave those open tables visible to passers-by to lure them at the expense of others. This is not the first time it has happened to us here. Serratto..... you just lost a loyal customer.
Great service as usual. Non Voyage occasion.
A very dependable venue for good food and service.
Overall a great experience and one of my favorite places to eat with friends and family. The food was a bit overly salted on this particular visit, but will definitely be back.
We love Serratto. Whether it’s for delicious pasta; perfectly cooked fish, or as on this cold night delicious burgers. Serratto’s service has always been a hallmark of this restaurant. This is true wherther I’m with a large party or dining solo. Unfortunately, this last visit was an exception.
It was a misfire from the time we were seated. We had a 7:15 reservation. The restaurant was fairly full both in the bar and the dining area. There were several large parties so we attributed this to the inconsistent timing of seating, drinks, menus and finally taking our order.
Salads came out quickly but entrees took awhile. Once we were finally served, very soon after the server began asking if we were done; did we want a to go box, and could she clear our plates. The first pass occurred when I had over half of my hamburger on my plate and was clearly still eating, I ordered another glass of wine so clearly I wasn’t planning on being done right away. The server kept coming over and we kept saying we were still eating. Then she started reaching across the table to clear anything we didn’t appear to be using. One of our guests had to literally grab back her wine glass.
Yes, the restaurant was clearing out but we were no where close to the last customers. Perhaps we were this servers’ last table. And it wasn’t as if we were lingering. It was 8:45 when we got in the car.
Will we be back? Yes—because we are assuming that this lack of service was an anomaly. But it did make this particularly visit less enjoyable.
This was a memorable dinner date for my wife and I. All courses of our dinner were excellent from the French onion soup and beet salad to our entrees (scallops and clams & spaghetti). The pace of the service was perfect, nothing rushed nor delayed so that you wonder where your food is. Meghan, our waitress was very helpful without being unobtrusive. Most of all Meghan was cheerful and seemed to really enjoy what she was doing and this added to our enjoyment of the evening.
