The outstanding wine list and knowledgeable staff ensures a perfect wine pairing for any meal, palate, or budget.
With its beautiful dining room, spacious private dining space, relaxed lounge and full bar, Serratto has the perfect table for you!
Got together with long-time friends for a catch up visit. I enjoyed the scallops and another of us raved about the filet. The budino received four thumbs up! Service was very good and attentive without being intrusive. Part of this hidden gem is the valet parking behind the building and entered from the street behind.
Second time in a row I ordered a vegetarian dish and was brought something with meat in it. Server didn’t care. Terrible service!
Yummy food and great service. I love this gorgeous restaurant!
Srratto's is a great place to go only If you are in the mood for: a restaurant the has the warm feel of an Italian or French country restaurant, only if you want a great Martini, only if you want very good service and very good food, only if you want to have dinner in a place with a vibe that is fun and alive. This happened to be the mood we were in on Friday when we had such a good time meeting for dinner with a long-time friend. It was the perfect choice for us.
The food was outstanding, but the service was quite slow. Maybe cause Friday night and very crowded? Would recommend the bouillabaisse!
Dinner at Serratto has become a highlight of our annual visit to Portland. Once again it did not disappoint. Our main courses of Beef Tenderloin and Scallops we’re both amazing. A class restaurant without being at all pretentious. We will be back.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Serrato where the service is top notch and the food is so delicious.
Nice place to have dinner with friends or families!
Very poor service possibly due to late hour. Took forever to get a drink. Food was lukewarm. Not typical for Serrato.
Always outstanding - been coming here for about 20 years and hope to be coming back for the next 20
Sunday afternoon lunch with my daughter - very pleasant atmosphere, quiet, no one rushing us to leave. We shared a pizza and bread, both delicious.
Service was very slow And in the tentative todetails such as Parmesan cheese on the table, bread, and other issues.. Food was good but not great in the portion sizes were modest.
Disappointing! Don't remember the last time i used so much salt in a restaurant. Food lacked flavor & the bouillabaisse portion size was a joke.
Dined with out of state friends after not going to Serratto for a couple of years. Love the atmosphere and neighborhood. The menu was essentially the same as in earlier days, and I was surprised that there were not any entrée specials or newer offerings. The pasta dish was great and I like that smaller portions are available. Caesar salad a little heavy on the dressing. The wine list is a bit pricey compared to the food menu. Our server was agreeable but seemed inexperienced, both for the menu and timing. All in all, we enjoyed our meal and time there and will try it again, but it didn't match my prior opinion of it.
Delicious. Great environment and service. Everyone was very friendly and helpful with questions about the menu. The wine was also excellent.
Excellent food and attentive service. Pleasant window table.. comfy chairs
Good menu. Good quality. Very small portion considering the pricing. Friendly, efficient service.
Great consistency and always friendly ....
Everything was great from our server and a delicious lunch. We were celebrating three birthdays and they gave us three deserts on the house which I thought was so nice.
Loved it here - already planning to come back again! Great service, delicious food and the overall experience for our family was perfect. Thank you!
Introduced our kiddo to the Serratto burger. He thought it was a perfect burger and wants to come back.
Our food was delicious, esp the beet salad. We were seated in the back which was much quieter than the main room. The service was great, we were not forgotten. Will continue to be a most favorite restaurant!!!!!
Outstanding, friendly service; delicious cuisine. Will definitely return.
This remains our most favorite Portland restaurant!
Just visiting family in Portland. Needed a early dinner, these guys blew our socks off at 4:30PM.
Great soup, salad and pastas. Will return.
Roasted Mary's Chicken is the best and I love the atmosphere!
Food and service were both great!
Great waiter. He made us feel special. This is the first time in a long time in Portland that we didn't feel like we were being pushed out of our table. This is the way dinner out is supposed to be!
This was not a great meal. My pasta was done al dente, but the sauce tasted like it had been simmering WAY too long, and it was pretty salty. Usually Serratto is better than this...
The rigatoni is amazing, one of our favorite. They make great cocktails and our friends son did enjoy the pasta on the kids menu.
We are regulars so I guess you could say, "we like it quite a bit"! The food is consistently good. The wine list has some real gems and is reasonably priced. It is a comfortable place and usually the service is very good. Our last visit was not the case. The hostess and the wine manager had to jump in and help her out. Our waitress was rarely insight??!
We will still return on a regular basis because this was not the norm.
Plus, the kitchen listens to your needs and food wishes.
Outstanding in every way.
The service left a lot to be desired. Received a dirty glass. Informed the staff. The person didn’t believe me so he inspected the glass carefully. Saw the food hanging on the side of the glass and said “oh.” He left and returned with another glass which was placed before me and left. No apologies. When I was served my soup, it was brought to me without a spoon. I asked for one and the person returned with one by extending his arm expecting me to get it from him instead of placing it on the table. Again he left without saying anything. Really odd. Also there was an open salt dish on the table... no spoon and no lid to cover it. Yeah. I hope the person before me wasn’t sick and had clean fingers to pinch with salt with. Luckily the food was good.
There was a Birthday at the next table and we waited while they decided who are waiter was but the food made up for all ills. The Pasta was Great my Wife and Daughter looved their dishes also.
Christian was an excellent waiter. My risotto was cooked perfectly.
Food was eh.
One of our favorite dining spots in Portland. On this Saturday afternoon the place was packed. We were early for our reservation and seated immediately. Service was really awesome. Our server, Hazel had a packed section with a large party and never missed a beat. We were taken care of perfectly, and, even though she was super-busy, was cheerful and pleasant throughout. Our meal was also perfect as always. This restaurant is truly a Portland treasure.
Always a great experience, consistently excellent food, service is usually off the charts.
Had a great time as usual. Our waiter Chad was perfect
We loved the feel of this place. We were there on a warm summer evening, the windows were open, and the breeze and the sound of people outside having fun made us smile. I had pasta with scampi, spinach, and cherry tomatoes, and it was well-seasoned, the perfect size, and delicious. I had a caprese salad beforehand with beautiful, juicy, heirloom tomatoes--the taste of summer. My friend had lamb over fava beans and ate every bite of it. Two desserts: a chocolate cobbler with ice cream, and cheesecake. The cheesecake edged out the cobbler, but only slightly. The look of place is warm, with richly-colored walls and lots of wood. It's a large restaurant, and the perfect light level and candlelight give it a very romantic feel.
