Are you kidding me with this? Asking for a review? I made a reservation with Serendipity months ago, for Valentine's Day, only to show up (after flying in from out of state) and find it closed!
Your reservation service is a joke.
This place is closing and it's easy to see why. We waited for a server for over 10 minutes with many passing by and NO acknowledgement. We finally left and went to the walk up window to get ice cream. Overpriced hype and NY location wasn't much better when we went there last year.
The food at Serendipity 3 was amazing! Everyone in our table was really pleased with what they order. The only down side of our dining experience was our waitress who didn't seem as though she wanted to be there. She constantly ignored us whenever we tried calling her to our table, didn't seem to be paying attention to anything we were saying while we ordered and she brought the check before our meals even arrived.
Very enjoyable! Delicious food!
Very impressed with the restaurant. Atmosphere is excellent. Food portion are substantial and prizes, considering it is the Strip in Vegas and Caesars, are reasonable.
I don't think this restaurant should accept reservations after 9. Ours was for 9:30, and we were rushed out of the place. They obviously wanted to close and get us out ASAP. Our dessert came out about 5 minutes after our dinner came out, so it sat on the table as a melting slip while we tried to scarf down our food. Also, the dish I ordered was not as described on the menu and the giant potato wedges were not cooked all the way through, essentially inedible. Pretty disappointed. Didn't feel welcome at all.
We have been eating at the original Serendipity in New York for years. This Las Vegas branch is nothing like the real thing. The restaurant is dirty and too cold. The staff is unprofessional and the restaurant is very under-staffed... no one to check you in or to wait on you without waving someone down to help you. The food is bad, nothing like the New York restaurant, and shockingly expensive. To top it all off, the waitress spilled a glass of water on us and did nothing to apologize or to offer us compensation. Very disappointing experience. Avoid this place.
Waited 25 minutes for a table even with a reservation and we could see open tables in the restaurant. Service was not what we expected.
The place is kind of run down... that being said our server went out of his way to make our kids happy with their sundaes!
Great frozen hot chocolate Great service We love our food 😀
Not much of a selection for breakfast
Only 6 items to choose from
Most likely will not return
Ice cream is top notch. Servers are friendly and accommodating. Come hungry😀!!
Went for an afternoon anniversary lunch. Fun and interesting items on the menu. I went with true comfort food...grilled cheese with tomato soup. And for dessert, carrot cake sundae. Sooo much food. Lots of fun. Glad we were able to go before it closed. I guess we'll have to go to the New York location next time.
Thanks for the GR8 Service!
Your Friends from Los Angeles
Their meals are expensive and regular portions large; $20 for a burger. Our 15 year old wanted to order the $10 burger from the kids menu. They said no, only for 12 and under. Will not go back.
The pizza had way too much cheese on it. Choking excessive amount.
I was very disappointed. The frozen hot chocolate tasted like they froze some nestle quick and threw Reddi whip and chocolate chips on top. This was not what I was expecting. We will not go back. The service was good. I almost felt sorry for the waitress because I think she could see how disappointed we were. Service was the only good thing about that place. Not her fault it was so bad.
Was not overly impressed. Limited breakfast selections. Portions are too large, as are the prices. Server was most pleasant and accommodating.
The ice cream was amazing and large enough to share for 4 people!
I absolutely loved this place! The staff was super friendly and helpful with menu recommendations. We we seated immediately and served promptly. I highly recommend the frozen hot chocolate and the Forbidden Broadway Sundae. OMG they were phenomenal! The sundae is def large enough for two.
Service was a bit slow, but its Vegas so we understood.
Absolutely wonderful! Hangover omelette is awesome! You must try the frozen hot chocolate! Went there twice during my trip to Vegas! Even the Chicken and Waffles was phenomenal! Will be a place I eat every time I go to Vegas!
Serendipity 3 - Caesars Palace was no too bad, however I'd recommend it for the warmer seasons when you can sit outside, as the atmosphere inside was not as nice as I thought it would be. Kind of reminded me of a Cafeteria at a University, I've paid a lot less for far better establishments. On the upside the food was great
Always stop by my favorite spot when I'm in Vegas. Can't beat the delicious food, friendly environment and the frozen hot chocolate, duh!
Great place for families. Large portion sizes. Great comfort food!
I booked our reservation 1 month before and the hostess cant find my reservation. The 2 hostess were really rude and unfriendly at all. Food is not so great and their service sucks!
The food itself (as it always is) was great...but the rest of it? Not so much.
Our server wasn't exactly the friendliest we've ever encountered. He didn't make much of an attempt to personalize anything, or interact with us as fellow humans. He watched as my fiance knocked over a drink and spilled a full glass of soda on himself...although it was my fiance's mistake, I thought it would have been nice of the server to offer a refill, but even if he didn't feel like that was fair to offer, at the bare minimum he could have offered a NAPKIN or SOMEthing to help him clean up the spill. My fiance literally sat in his puddle of soda for the duration of the meal, with only his napkin to clean up what fell on his lap. I'm not kidding when I say the waiter actually stood and watched it happen, and then changed the subject and walked away, completely ignoring it.
The other thing was, last time my brother and I had visited this resto, they charged his card for the full amount of everyone at the table, AS WELL as charging everyone else their individual meals (it was a bill split among multiple cards); and while that was a pending charge, it was a holiday weekend, so for the entire weekend and then some, my brother was less $350+ in his account. At the time, he was told this was "the policy of the restaurant" and that he should get over it. Because of that, my brother asked THIS time--before his card was charged--if the restaurant planned on charging his card for the full amount. He fully explained his previous experience, so the server could understand why he would ask such a ridiculous question...and the server--clearly annoyed--explained that that's something he's never even heard of, that it is NOT the restaurant's policy, and punctuated the response with "I KNOW how to DO my JOB." That was the end of that.
So yeah...wasn't exactly a pleasant experience. The food is delicious, but since we've never had a good experience with the service, we won't be back.
The service was terrible (one waiter, izzy...not the others). Two of his tables including us got no drinks before our food came. After that, no refills- I had to go ask the bartender to refill my water. A third table
In his section never got served at all- they got up and left after 10 minutes without him ever coming to their table. When I asked for the check, he slammed it down in the table because he saw that I was upset about getting my own water.) Complained to the manager- got a 10% discount. If you go, DONT sit in his section.
We loved it! The food was excellent in taste and portion size. Plenty to share so keep that in mind. We had nachos which were yummy and someone also order the filet and she said it was delicious! The frozen hot chocolate with amaretto in it was to die for and we would go back just for that alone! Service was attentive.
My family ordered 3 omelettes for dinner. Picked ingredients. They were tasteless. Worse omelettes we ever had. IHOP is better.
We came for the frozen hot chocolate! Typical burger type fare. The foods & service were good, but the dinner was not cheap. Definitely need to save room for dessert! Family friendly restaurant.
Would only recommend this place for desserts. Portions are huge, ice cream and cakes were delicious. Rest of the regular food average at best. Would not go here for lunch or dinner.
Great outside bar server who made up for lack of service inside. The good was very good. Just need outdoor heaters so that more people can enjoy the outside even when it is chilly.....
A very good dining experience. It was like an old diner. Portions were huge and delicious. Service was great.
Just not impressed. Ambiance was loud and bland and the food was okay but had to send the steak back. This food tastes like it was out of the box...
We arrived with a reservation and the hostess still had us waiting for about 20 minutes. I thought the reason for making a reservation was not to wait that long so this was disappointing. On the other hand our waitress was wonderful and attentive.
Was disappointed in their menu. Went there specifically to try a dish I had seen on their yelp page but upon arrival the waitress told me that they didn't have it at that location which was pretty confusing. And when asked if they could add something on to my dish I was told they couldn't. I was shocked that they weren't able to accomadate me in any way.
I highly recommend the carrot cake Sunday! The service and timing were on point. I always make it a point to come here whenever I'm in Vegas.
This was my first time at this restaurant. I was a very fun place to dine. The food was tasty.
