Serendipity 3 - Caesars Palace Las Vegas - Permanently Closed Ratings and Reviews
I've wanted to goto a Serendipity since I saw the movie "One Fine Day" for the frozen hot chocolate. Since I've missed opportunities in NYC, I was thrilled about this Vegas shoppe AND with my boys. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! Worth the wait. We arrived about 30 mins before our reservation and, to our delight, they sat us right away. The food was outstanding! We had a variety of items but the stand-out was the waffles and chicken. Yummy! We ended with the frozen hot chocolate.... and then another. We will be back. Delicious. Thank you! It was pure Serendipity. Xo
Visited restaurant primarily due to it Caesars Palace location for pre theatre meal. On arrival host made us wait until allotted time although there were a number of vacant but dirty tables. However restaurant didn't seem that busy. Upon seating, it was some minutes before we were seen and given menus but our waitress once engaged was very chatty and probably best part of experience. Food was cafe style, sangria pitcher was lovely. Just feel in such a competitive environment in Vegas, food could be so much better here. We didn't have any of the signature desserts or cake which could have made a difference. Overall disappointing.
This used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Vegas, but menu changes and a decline in the kitchen make it one I probably won't go back to. They used to have a crab cake salad and a crab cake sandwich that were both delicious, but they are no longer on the menu. The onion ring tower no longer tastes freshly made, and my grilled chicken sandwich was dry and tasteless. The fries that came with it were cold and tasted like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. My husband had the burger and said it was fine. You would expect it to be a little more than "fine" when you're paying $20 for it!!
Come here for the desserts and skip the food!
We went to Serendipity specifically for their frozen hot chocolate, it is beyond amazing. It has 20 different chocolates in it but you can't tell because it is so perfectly blended. The service there is great, the servers are very nice, polite and helpful. Which helps your dining experience be even more enjoyable. I love going to Serendipity and will make it a point to go every time I'm in Vegas.
We got lost and delayed 20minutes, but the receptionist took us to our seat kindly. We ate Mac & Cheese, Steak sandwiches and Caesars Salad. They were all delicious. We also had Frozen Hot Chocolate. The lady server was very friendly and we enjoyed verymuch!!!
Chose to dine here as it was the ideal location for our show at Caesars Palace.
Slightly erratic atmosphere. Main courses arrived just after our starters. Waiter seemed unconcerned and crammed everything on to our table. Not the best quality of food but still quite pricey.
Probably best for an ice cream sundae instead of a meal.
Took my daughter to dinner for her 16th birthday. We were very excited to try Serendipity 3 but we were disappointed. Took the waiter over 10 min to get our drink order and he acted like we were a bother. He took our food order at the same time and it took quite a while for it to come out. When it arrived, fries were cold and my sister's order was wrong. Did not come back to check or give us drink refills until after we'd eaten so he never knew the order was wrong. Ordered the Party Like It's Your Birthday cake for dessert and it was delicious. Way more than enough for the 5 of us to share with plenty left over. Food portions are huge but not very tasty so even though we packaged up the leftover meals, we never ate them. It was very busy and I noticed other tables getting annoyed by the lack of service as well. Overall, I'd suggest saving your money and avoiding the food all together and just going for dessert. There's a handy to go window to pick up frozen hot chocolate and other treats. Next time, I'll stick with that and eat somewhere else.
We were vacationing. The food was very good a little expensive but the portions were huge. It would be nice if you offered 1/2 orders. We felt terrible leaving so much but we were not going back to our hotel so couldn't & probably wouldn't take the leftovers. Our waitress was also the bartender so our service was very slow.
I was hesitant prior to my Visit. The thought of frozen hot chocolate is rather strange with that being said serendipity was amazing! The service was great, the food was very tasty and comes In Huge Portions. My Favorite was definitely The frozen Hot Chocolate.
The service was not terrific. I checked in and told them I had an open table reservation - but they never checked me in. Then half way through my meal OT emailed me that I failed to show up to my reservation. I told the hostess who said she couldn't do anything about it. She was some what flippant about it. I was at this restaurant four years ago and it was much better. The portions are still huge but the frozen hot chocolate was watered down and thin in consistency - not like the NY restaurant at all. Disappointing that their signature drink was watery and thin and very overpriced. Our waitress was in a hot rush to take our order, hot rush to serve us our food, dropped the check midway through our meal and then she disappeared. This was not what I was hoping for.
It was for my daughters 16th. They didn't do anything for her. Not a candle not a happy bday, nothing. The server left 4 of our dinner plates (party of 7) on the table the entire night. We are our desserts around 4 dinner plates. I counted she walked to our Table and left it 9 times empty handed. It was awkward.
My friend and I were very excited to try the famous frozen hot chocolate on our visit to Las Vegas. The service was terrible to say the least. It took about 15 minutes or so for our waitress to even come by our table. And once we got our order we were severely disappointed... the Frozen hot chocolate was like drinking a half melted milk shake. Save yourself the waisted time and calories and go somewhere else. Although some of the other items might be worth trying should we decide to ever make a return trip.
