Service was slow and poor. We had to ask four times for waiter to take drink and dinner order. Really long delay before apps arrived. One of thee dinners wrong.
Food was ok but service was not. Waiter forgot one appetizer completely, then when food came no one bothered to check if food was good. When bill came we were charged for the appetizer. It also took close to an hour for entrees to arrive.
I wouldn’t be rushing back
First time we visited the White Plains location! Food was delicious as usual. Great place!
The food was below average, the restaurant was almost empty on a Saturday evening, however the one across the street was very vibrant. My swordfish tasted like a chewing gum. Worst restaurant choice.
The staff was attentive
The food delicious
Great lunch to celebrate!!
Food is solid Italian fare. Ambiance is lacking. Service is a bit inattentive and unrefined, given the prices.
Really great service and the food was delicious. The staff was very accommodating - we had Angelo as a waiter; super patient!
The food was very good and they had a wide selection. We went on one of the coldest days of the year and, unfortunately, the heat was not working well and my dinner guests had to wear coats. A good meal is not so good when you are shivering.
It was a cold day today and we all had to wear our coats because it was so cold inside. Way to cold for a comfortable meal. The bread was not brought out and we had to ask for it to be served. Water was only replenished once during meal. When finished we had to wave waiter down for bill. All in all, I get better service at an Applebee’s or Friday’s for half the price. I don’t mind paying up but should get a better meal/experience in return. At least turn the heat to a level we can take our coats off. The restaurant was only 1/4 full. Can’t imagine service at full capacity.
Parking was impossible, but worse than usual because of setting up streets for New Years party. That was not your fault but you should have offered parking in garage next door for my trouble of walking 2 blocks to dine at your establishment.
I will say I have eaten at your locations in Manhattan several times and these problems never came up.
Holiday Get-together with friends. Cocktails were tasty. I had an ok salad, but the truffle ravioli were scrumptious!
We loved our experience at Serafina, great food and staff. They took great care of our family as we celebrated our Mother’s 89th Birthday. We 7 people including 1 in a wheelchair and 1 with a walker. They made us feel very welcome.
Love it at Seraphina. Food is always excellent and service is excellent
Overall a very good experience. Only problem is parking. Website says valet parking available next door at Ritz Carlton but when I tried to do that was told it was not available that night. Had to drive around looking for parking and then ended up with a parking ticket because meter parking lasted until 9PM.
The food is consitently good. The wine was not chilled. Service was not great as the bread basket came out at the same time as out entrees.
Great food with Great service. I recommend trying the "Al Pacino" with Angel hair..
Great calimari. Filleted and skewered. Interesting and quite fresh and tender.
The food was delicious!!! Nice quiet restaurant with an extensive menu! So many great dishes that my friends and I all ordered different dishes to share!
Consistency delish! Pizza is amazing. Always fresh. Favorite dishes are the spaghetti squash and the swordfish!
We are here a few times a year. We thought this was one of our best meals here. While there was a mishap with a drink spill, the staff were gracious and desserts on the house. Overall enjoyable and we will return.
Good. Pasta portions are small
Excellent menu, food is always delicious.. service excellent
We went for Mother's Day and service was atrocious. Food was ok.
We had the worst experience. We waited over one hour for our meal. The waiter finally said one of us ordered a special that takes a long time to make which no one ever mentioned to us. Then 2 of us ordered sea bass and woke up with stomach aches the next day.
Very good caprese, Very good pasta, nice place
We were meeting friends that we hadn't seen in a long time and the waiter was great in giving us the right amount of time to talk and yet, was accomodating and available for questions and ordering. .The atmosphere is comfortable yet fun and feels like a vibrant part of the White Plains life! Three of us actually shared an arugula salad with shaved parmesan which was excellent and I had a well prepared delicious salmon which was excellent and came exactly how i ordered it with the sauce on the side. Two of the men at the table had the risotto with seafood which was the special and they said it was to die for! We were very impressed with the high level of service we received the whole evening and we would definitely come back here! Fun and comfortable vibe!
Seven of us went out here for a dinner and we enjoyed it but it's nothing worth the price. $19 for pizza or $16 for a salad that was not amazing yet not bad seems a little pricey. The Gnocchi however, are worth every penny. The music was different . Club / techno music at a high level was being played which does not fit the scene .
Every time we have had a friend's get together it has been excellent. Staff is accomodating and was very attentive. Food is delicious. Gluten free pasta options were also delicious. Highly recommend.
Everything was perfect. The food the ambiance and the company of my wife.
My cousin and I came to Serafina for her birthday. The ambience was so relaxing and calm. The food was very tasty. The drinks were good. Everyone was accommodating. We had a really grear time. The location was perfect.
Made us order appetizers and dinner together so we couldn't pause between meals. Even though it seemed like a light night (crowd wise.) Food was good and I had a great time just thought it was weird having to order only once.
Excellent choice -- Christmas dinner for 8, including 2 grade-school boys. Serafina served their full menu, including filet mignon, which was not listed that evening on the menu. The shrimp in cognac sauce with risotto was delicious. Desserts were excellent, particularly the berry tart. Service was excellent. We did not have wine, primarily because each glass is $12 or more. It was very cold outside, and the three seated with their backs to the windows were shivering part-way through the meal, necessitating the wearing of coats.
Very nice Birthday/Christmas brunch
In general we enjoy Serafina menu in White Plains or in NYC. It was my son's birthday and we decided to go there after church, because our church is close to Serafina - White Plains. They have a good menu.
Great food, reasonably priced for it's high quality. Portions a little small. Liquor was prohibitively expensive - white wine as $15 a glass!
Fabulous food and extremely over-accommodating staff! Great view of White Plains. Centrally located.
Beautiful atmosphere quiet and sexy definitely a fine choice
Had a business lunch at this establishment. It was a perfect setting, with a relaxed atmosphere, good service and ok food. The apps were tasty, we had tartare and avocado and baby shrimp. I had branzino for main and it was well cooked. The service was prompt but not in your face. Overall a very pleasant experience
Went to serafina for Father's Day. The employees were very nice and took care of us very well. The food was excellent. My only issue was the soda. There are no free refills and the soda they give you is in a small glass so that makes you order more soda because you drink it very fast. Besides that everything else was good.
Made reservations for Mother's Day brunch and was disappointed when the manager called us the day before to inform that brunch would not be served, but rather it would be the regular lunch menu. This was our first time at the restaurant and I was skeptical of anything other than the brunch after reading mixed reviews.
However, my entire family was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and service was prompt even though the place was packed. Recommendations: fried calamari, cognac shrimp and any pizzas.
