Food was good. Portion sizes were small. Service was slow. We were a bother to our waitress who wanted to spend more time talking to her friend and looking at her phone.
Great staff, great music, great food, great location. Our food allergies were taken seriously and we felt comfortable eating everything we ordered.
The food was absolutely awful. I love serafina in Manhattan but these place does not even compare. The pizza was terrible, the drinks over priced and the service was slow. Stay away!
The food was really good, but the drinks came after our main courses were served. Given the fact that it was Christmas day, I completely understand if they were short staffed.
The food was very fresh and of high quality. The staff service was excellent and very attentive to our requests.
Serafina in White Plains did not disappoint! The service was great and i was able to get Gnocchi alla vodka although it wasnt on the menu. You can tell the food here is quality because i did not leave feeling gross! Highly recommend the Arugula Parmesan salad and the Nutella pizza... YUM!!!! We will be back :)
Great food. Attentive service. Good value
Poor service. So so food.
I come here frequently and the food is always consistently delicious. It does take forever to get a drink and it sometimes feels the restaurant is too much for the staff to handle. In spite of this, I go here once a week when I want authentic Italian cuisine.
Staff was great, food was excellent
Food does not taste good! Not worth the money. Will not go back again!
Staff was rude and talking about me in Spanish, which I understand.
We always enjoy Serafina in White Plains. My husband's veal limone was delicious and was accompanied by perfectly cooked broccoli. The pizzas are always great. My grandchildren ordered the Bolognese and penne vodka and enjoyed them very much. The chicken parm is something my son and I always look forward to and this time it was a bit disappointing - the sauce, cheese, and overall flavor was excellent. The quality of the chicken was questionable - it seemed very tough and to contain a transparent almost plastic wrap type substance in the meat. I have encountered this condition at other restaurants of lesser quality and reputation, but never at Serafina either in the city or in White Plains. The restaurant is very pleasant and welcoming and I am hopeful this chicken parm can be improved. Thank you for the opportunity to comment.
Lovely Italian restaurant with convenient location to downtown WP for shows / movies. Accordingly, better suited for families than fine dining: very noisy ( a lot of children) at 6:30 pm on a Saturday.
The food was outstanding, the service terrific and Ambiance lovely. I am definitely returning and highly recommend Serafina for good Italian Food.
Very nice time. The food was very good and the service was good as well. I took a client to lunch and we had an enjoyable time.
Seemed like a nice place walking in. The server was not attentive at all. We had to continuously get another employee to go get him for us whenever we needed something. As far as the food, the bread they give you once you are seated was cold and hard. The minestrone soup was room temperature and tasted "ok." I will say, however, that the meatballs were delicious. I also had the jumbo shrimp with risotto which was also delicious. Overall, I might give Serafina's another try but definitely not this location.
The food was delicious. Te service was ok. We had to wait a little bit and it wasn’t clear who was our waiter. Once we placed the order the service was good.
Many better Italian restaurants in the area - Was not impressed for the price Bad value, small portions
Nice, but very different from the NYC quality. It used to be as good as the NYC locations.
Good food. Good service.
Bad mojito- no lime (wtf)
The restaurant was lovely, although a bit warm, and the waitstaff was extremely accommodating to my family, which included two older grandparents. We've been to this restaurant before for other meals, and the service is consistently on the slow end. The food was good overall, with a couple of highlights: the "fabulous scrambled eggs" and the smoked salmon benedict were both excellent.
Table for 4 was so small it was overcrowded. Super hot and muggy in restaurant.
The service was very slow, perhaps because it was Father's Day but they should have planned for this. the pizzas we ordered came out 10 minutes after the other main courses and they weren't very good. I love Serafina in NYC and thought this was a guarantee but it wasn't great at all. Bummer.
I’ve loved this chain in the city and had been wanting to visit for a while. We were the first people to be seated on father’s day but then promptly ignored because another table apparently was keeping the entire staff occupied. The other table that was seated 20 minutes after our arrival had their food first and had their bill and left before we ate. We were a party of three the other table a party of five. How does that happen? For the money they should have been better staffed and more service oriented. Very disappointed. Will never go again.
We ended up walking out! The service was terrible. When we sat down, the waitress gave us water only after we asked for it and did not even take our drink order. We had no menus and again we had to ask for them. We were inside seated for 15 minutes before we decided to walk out and go to another restaurant. There were only two parties besides ours during this time so it was not busy at all and the party next to us was also having issues with waiting over 15 minutes to just order. Highly disappointed as we had never been to this location and looked forward to it all week.
Waited 1 hour just for water. Waited 1.5 hours for someone to take our order. When it came, it was all wrong. Worst Mothers Day experience.
Reliably good food and service. Pleasant atmosphere. Convenient. Attractive bartender. I prefer weeknight dining here, since weekends can get busy, which may slow down service and make it noisier.
The overall experience was good. My husband was less impressed and it was his first time. I've been to this restaurant several times.
We went for Mother's day with my family and the restaurant was busy. It seemed they weren't prepared for the reservations let alone the walk-ins. We had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated with a reservation which isn't too bad. The people with reservations in front of us were waiting 30 minutes.
The service was a little slow and the waitstaff seemed overwhelmed. We had to wait for our food but it wasn't a long wait. I would say we waited about about 20 minutes for the apps and after we finished those I would say an additional 20 for our meal. One complaint my husband had is he ordered pasta w/ broccoli rabe. The plate was extremely hot and the waiter didn't warn my husband when he handed it off to him. He burned his hand. Only then was he told the plate was hot and the waiter was not apologetic but I assume he forgot to apologize for not warning him.
The appetizers were very good. We had calamari and beef carpaccio. The mains were good although we did ask for our steak to be medium rare for the arugula salad and it came out well done. I didn't mind as mine wasn't overly cooked but my sister's was a bit well done and she didn't enjoy hers. The deserts were delicious no complaints there. The host was very polite and he did his best on this busy day.
I would go again but I usually go on special occasions. It's a little on the pricey side and I would recommend they prepare for the reservations and the waitstaff to be a little more attentive for a better experience.
Service was slow and dismal. Noisy crowd. NO brunch menu available even though I inquired via tele call
Went for Mother's Day at 11:30am, no brunch menu (just the regular menu). Ordered 1 mimosa, 1 glass of wine, milk, calamari app, burrata with prosciutto app and lobster ravioli. Bill came to $100 which seems a bit high for lunch. The burrata was good but their balsamic was awful which ruined the plate. I asked for another balsamic and was given another bottle of the same balsamic. I was with an 8yo and we were not offered a children's menu. The table next to us had 2 children and half way through their meal asked for a children's menu and were given one. They have 2 doors, one on main street one on Rennaissance Square. They had the door on Main locked (no sign to indicate to use the other door) and despite at least a dozen people coming to the door on Main they didn't open it, and it was pouring. Overall, not impressed.
Server was pleasant, but extremely inefficient. Food was ok, but nothing that would make me want to return.
Service was very slow for a Saturday but all in all the food and ambiance was great!
Service was the worst. Absolute worst. Our table was right next to the swinging kitchen doors which BANGED each time someone rushed through them; that was a very unpleasant disruption making it difficult to enjoy pleasant conversation. Food was good but not notable enough to make up for the noisy door and horrible service from Carlos.
Very nice lunch menu. Good choices and well prepared.
Waiter forgot that we were even seated and ready to give our orders. Took an hour to get waters and 1.5 hours to get our orders. Embarrassing to our guests
Service was so bad it was almost comical
And the place was not full at all!
We were in White Plains for a conference and chose Serafina sight unseen. We were extremely happy. The service was right on target and the food was outstanding. By far the best calamari I have ever had. My friend had the lobster ravioli and raved about it. The waiter was very accommodating to me because I was not feeling 100% and just wanted a basic ziti with tomato sauce and some dollops of fresh mozzarella. He made sure I got what I needed. My table mates ordered the profiteroles and I had a bite. The best chocolate sauce ever! I'm sad I live all the way in Virginia. If I lived near Serafina, I'd visit it at least once a month.
Perfection!! Thank you for a beautiful brunch! The service was impeccable! The food stellar as always!
We had a great meal. Service was good and it was quiet enough to enjoy conversation with friends.
