loved the service so friendly and helpful
Food was really good. Compared to other restaurants, their heating situation was sub par. They built a outdoor structure but didn’t have the right heaters and we were freezing
Great job on outdoor dining. Wooden huts created with plexiglass walls. Several heaters. Good experience despite the cold temps!!

We enjoyed our last brunch before the coronavirus subsequently shut down the city. Service was excellent, careful and protective. As were we. Food was wonderful. And we said good buy to the way of life we knew and loved.
Pizza was runny (not cooked enough). Wait staff mostly uninterested in our needs, no one asked or cared how our meal was. Very LOUD on the upper level. Small children kicking bottom of wooden booth, where they were seated (poor design). Restaurant manager, very accommodating.
Great spot for after the High Line. Pizzas and pastas were excellent. Tuna Burger delicious. Shaved baby artichoke salad a tasty choice. I would definitely return.
The ravioli were amazing and the food was overall good. The place was a bit too noisy tho and we were seated by the door, and it was a bit cold. We stay OW serafina in our model portfolio.
Very rude hostess at the entrance. Don’t go there!! Food horrible as well
Extremely disappointing, the food (salad and pasta) was mediocre, and portions minuscule.
I asked our waiter which salad was more copious (that was all I was planning on having), he basically made me understand that none was. He was right. My salad (kale, brussels sprouts, parmesan and candied walnut nuts) was very small for a dish not supposed to be a side dish or an appetizer in fact my husbands' order of lentils - a side dish - was larger): there was at most 1 brussels sprout shredded and barely noticeable, and I found exactly 4 walnuts in the salad.
The waiter came to ask if we were enjoying our meal, I told him the salad was sub-par (small portion, very blah).
We then ordered dessert: the chocolate sensation (described as having 7 layers). It was not at all as described, barely any chocolate flavor with only 3 layers, one of which looked like vanilla mousse.
Very deceitful description for chocolate lovers.
It was not a busy night, I would have expected the manager to come over - no such thing happened.
Nice place for a classic Italian dinner in Meatpacking district. Great ambiance upstairs and large portions for pasta dishes.
Five of us for brunch last Saturday and I couldn’t have picked a better place for us. The food was wonderful - definitely try the pizza on the brunch menu! The staff was incredibly efficient and friendly. Most definitely worth the price and most definitely going back!
A bit drafty, but overall Always a go to place for me
The service and the food were excellent. We made a last minute reservation on OpenTable and didn't have to wait long for our table to be ready.
Food was a bit bland, especially considering the price
Everything about the restaurant was quite good except they put a mom with two screaming kids on the same floor as a few business lunch groups. I'm not sure why they did that as I thought for sure they would have put them on another floor. They may have been "regulars" as the waitress seemed to know them. In which case, they should certainly know better.
I would recommend this restaurant, but maybe make a request for an area so you can have a business lunch conversation. I failed to do so and paid the price.
Valentine’s lunch
Always great
We had the pastas. They were delicious. Drinks and bartender were good too.
Very disappointing. Overpriced for poor food quality. Presentation of the food is not nice either. Fortunately we had a great waiter.
GREAT food, cozy atmosphere, and awesome service.
The host who was apparently the manager was EXTREMELY rude. We had a reservation for 9 people which I had called a few days earlier to confirm and she had told us that it was booked under 8 and that now we would have to wait and that it would be “tight” as she proceeded to roll her eyes. I can’t believe she is the manager. Once we were seated we were next to a large party that were all clearly wasted. I felt like I was at a sports bar and the super bowl was playing..... we will NEVER be coming back. The only positive part was our waiter, Luis. He was amazing and very accommodating.
We shared the fried brussels sprouts as an appetizer and they were quite delicious.
We then had different pastas dishes that were all consistently tasty, cooked to perfection and in generous portions, perfect for a main dish. I would definitely go back and recommend to friends and family.
Luis was fabulous. So was the food, service, ambience & overall experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Dinner and desert the best I ever had - so delicious
Unless someone told you Serafina was a chain, you wouldn’t know. This particular location has a true charm and ambiance to it that is hard to find in such a trendy part of the city. It was a bit noisy on a Saturday night, but I could still hear the person across from me just fine. The menu is standard Italian fare; I had penne alla vodka, and my friend the farfalle al limoncello. We had calamari to start; the dish is quite generous and the calamari here are always good. The sauce is a bit spicier than most calamari sauces but it was tasty nonetheless. The menu does say it is a spicy tomato dip, so no qualms there. My penne alla vodka was rich and had the appropriate amount of sauce (generous, but not drowning in it); with a bit of parmesan added on top, it made for a great dish. My friend’s farfalle tasted a bit too much of lemon, but other than that it was also a solid meal. The service was very good- our waiter was attentive, but didn’t hover either, and the food came in a timely manner. I will be back here again for my next Italian dinner in the meatpacking district.
The service was nice, just the end of the service was interrupted by the manager Marina. She was quite rude to the employees and made all of us feel uncomfortable. The service and the waiter were great, until this incident.
In the future we will go to one of the other locations.
Surprisingly moderate prices and fine Italian food in Meatpacking District. Good happy hour wine and prices. Lovely ambiance and low noise level. We totally enjoyed our pizza starter, lasagna, and orechiette. We came here on the recommendation of a Whitney Museum employee, and he did not steer us wrong. Go!
Been to a few Serafinas around town and this one had the best food by far.
Christmas/Birthday
Great food and service.
The food tasted as if it were pre made. Not made to order.
There was hair in our pasta. Not impressed.
They charged us for ice in our drinks.
Very disappointed. food was over salty, i made a special request for my husband's birthday and the staff didnt even care to look and add a candle on our dessert. the staff seemed so not interested in working there. Will never go back here nor recommend anyone to do so
Excellent ambience and amazing food. Cozy atmosphere with eclectic drinks collection
