Octopus marinated in lemon, over crispy potatoes, kalamata olives, and garlic tomatoes
hearts of romaine salad, tossed in a home made caesar dressing, topped with grilled chicken and house made garlic crostini
Best Italian food I have had in a long time.
Excellent Italian meal with some different options. Apps were good - I had the grilled Octopus and Calamari. Octopus was good but Calamari was a bit tough. My wife had the Pasta Faggioli soup - had a nice flavor, and you can taste the beans in the stock.
Entrees - I had the Pork Valdostana special which was a pork rib chop (French boned), stuffed with fontina cheese and prosciutto then breaded and fried topped with a mushroom sauce (Marsala-like) with a Parmesan Cheese Risotto. It was excellent however, it would have been even better if the chop was grilled rather than fried (IMHO). My wife had the Lamb Osso Bucco which was braised in a rich stock served with a sauce over porcini mushroom risotto. She loved it.
All in all a great meal with a nice atmosphere. The weather was kinda chilly so their propane gas heaters and set up made for a comfy evening on the water...
Very good meal, drinks and service. We were seated outside which we requested and was fine but would have liked to have had an additional heater. But still all ok. We will be back!
Absolutely perfect. Great view of the inter coastal. The food and service was amazing. Totally recommend.
Our lunch was perfect. Service was outstanding as well as the food. They never rushed us out. Very good experience. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Does not look great from the outside but walk through the alley and you will have a wonderful surprise.
Great appetizers and pasta. Friendly staff
As usual a great dining experience. Things back to normal with lots of tables all occupied, but our server Tom and the others handled it perfectly.
A consistently excellent neighborhood gem with Middle River seating creating a relaxing ambiance. Staff is attentive and professional.
Large portions, food ok . I give it a 6/10 , good service. 2 people $150 tax and tip in
Fabulous dinner dining outside, tuna tartare was fresh. Gnocchi and lamb entrees were wonderful. Service was great. Tiramisu was HUGE and tasty.
Can’t say anything good about the place. The live”entertainment “ was incredibly bad, my octopus app. was inedible. My wife’s pasta e fagolie was good. Pasta course was not hot but good and the entrees were both terrible, chicken cutlet and the snapper. The hostess was remarkably unhelpful and impolite when my wife asked for help with a cab. Worst Italian restaurant in my memory.
An aplus surprise.
Salads and main courses were shareable and reasonable. Restaurant was clean, on the water, and a real surprise at its size. Service was attentive and courteous.
Serafina is a hidden gem. What you would call a little hole in the wall.
You have no idea what you’re walking into and then you arrive at the most picturesque spot on the waterway. White tablecloths set the tone for a lovely evening. Food is excellent, authentic Italian. The waitstaff thoughtful and attentive. We go there once each time we go to Fort Lauderdale. If you look past the exterior, you’re in for a special evening.
Loved everything about Serafina. We’ll be back soon
Food was great, atmosphere excellent but service could be better.
Food was mostly very good. Tuna tartare appetizer and Caesar salad were great. Veal was very tender though salty. Seafood pastas excellent, snapper francese good though also a bit salty. Ricotta Cheesecake was delicious. Tom was a good waiter made great drinks.
We went of a Wednesday night around 7 pm and the place was not crowded but had a good number of patrons. We sat outside by the water and it was delightful. Drinks were delicious and the food was bountiful and also delicious. Enjoyed a great evening out with friends!
Our food was very good and ver generous portions. The ambiance and location was fabulous. The singer was excellent. An unexpected but worthwhile addition. She was top shelf. I highly recommend. Also the spirits were wonderful and tasty. Our server ( can’t remember his name but recently from New Jersey) was delightful. Overall a great experience. I’ll be back. Thank you
Fantastic we come here whenever we are in Fort Lauderdale which is 3-4 times/year and have been fir 7-8 years
Staff was very busy, ambiance and food were very good.
It was great !!! We will be back the lamb was amazing . I wish they woujj kkj d share the recipe lol
Fantastic as always …. And now no houseboat eye soar to look at .. just the waterway and beautiful sail boats
Food was excellent, service was awesome. Great ambience.
Food and drinks were okay. Nothing bad, however, nothing special.
Most delicious food I have experienced in Florida. Totally will come back again when we are visiting.
Awesome service and without a question the best Italian we’ve ever had! Great view of the water, too.
Great food and atmosphere. Very large portions. Nice. Nice cocktails
Our server was wonderful and couldn’t be more accommodating. The ambiance was great, sat outside on the water. The food was good.
Always a great experience . Service is great..food is great and they have outdoor seating...couldn't ask for anything more.
We enjoyed the meal but the menu is geared toward dinner, not lunch. There were not enough lunch salads , no thin crust personal pizza, we all ordered things that normally would be dinner items.
Went there for my anniversary. I made the staff aware on my reservation. No one acknowledged the occasion. My wife brought her favorite bottle of wine. They would not cork it for us. They said it was on the menu and it was not. We ended buying a bottle of wine from them. The whole experience felt awkward from that point on. I went there to celebrate a special occasion; situation should have been handled differently.
Always love this place.
Service was a little slow but then got better as restaurant cleared out. Staff was polite. Food was good and tasty but not a wow. Lamb was a bit chewy maybe overcooked but plentiful. Risotto had a hint of truffle oil but could use more mushrooms.
An Overall nice experience and I may return if in the area but nothing stood out as great!
We were there for a quiet mid-afternoon lunch. They seemed understaffed and food came before drinks or bread. Typically when we have lunched here, it would not be a problem. Food was good.
Food amazing as always! Brought people from out of town service and dining experience could not have been better.
We hosted some family members while on our trip to the Orange Bowl. Go Dawgs! The food was great, especially enjoyed the grilled octopus. Nicely prepared and not over cooked as is often the case. From the lasagna to the Zuppa de Mer, we tried a variety of dishes, and all were excellent. Weather was pleasant and setting near the water provided a great venue for fine dining. We would do it again.
Absolutely delicious and extremely authentic Italian food!! So glad I found this place I will be coming back!!
Risotto was bland, salad was ok other food was alright nothing was amazing. seating outside was nice, sat so close to people that we had conversation with the table next to us all night. It was nice, however the food not so much.
