The best Italian restaurant in Broward County. Great food. Great value. Great service and ambiance. Consistently good.
Everything was very good, as always.
Serafina is consistent.
We had a nice evening on the deck to and enjoyed a cool evening warmed by heat lamps. Food and service was great. Live music was a bit loud.
Service was just fair. I am still waiting for the butter I asked for. And three of us were served but it took a good five to ten minutes for the fourth person to get his food. Finally our waitress appeared, saw he did not get his food, and some time after brought it our. Very poor service. The food was just good. Two of us had the special fish which was supposed to have artichokes and maybe had two little pieces of them.
Plus the noise was terribly annoying because our table almost buttressed the one next to us and they were so loud it made for a very unpleasant evening.
Joe was an amazing waiter. Attentive and invisible at the same time.
Not great food. Waiter was mediocre.
Charming location when you are inside but disappointing curb appeal. The front looks like a small shop. I was prepared because I had seen the street images but my wife was a bit put off. Hardly any parking, luckily we were able to park in the shopping plaza opposite the restaurant and walk to the entrance. Food was pretty good. Some dishes were better than others. Salmon Francaise was good, sauce was tasty, but potatoes and vegetable we a bit undercooked. my wife ordered the crab ravioli, which was a featured dish, but sheater found that they were out of it. She ordered the lasagna, which was ordinary. Our waiter was failry attentive but not very pleasant. He made my wife feel a little alienated. What saved the night was the ambiance. Despite the small tables and space, it felt intimate and romantic. All in all, it was a pleasant night but I was expecting for more.
Serafina is a gem. Small, intimate, great outdoor ambiance. The service was great, and Joe our server was a traffic help in deciding our orders. The food was delivered in a reasonable amount of time and tasted wonderful. I will continue to refer people to Serafina for a great night out. Thank you!
Lovely setting and professional friendly server despite taking care of the entire lunch crowd by himself. Really classic delicious dishes
Wonderful Italian restaurant. Dined outside. Joe was
An awesome server. No push to try and up sell. Great recommendations. I had the bolognese. My wife
Had a crab ravioli special. Ceasar salad was wonderful. Homemade dressing. Fresh bread was wonderful. Also had the fresh fried mozzarella app. Was wonderful. Saw others with the burrata prosciutto di Parma app and it looked wonderful. Highly recommend
Amazing food, views , and service ! Had such a nice romantic dinner with my husband .
Survey sucked and was sweaty
This was my third visit while the food was up to its excellent standards, this time the service was not up to the high standards set on previous visits. The waiter while pleasant was not terribly knowledgeable about the wine list or the specials and we waited far too long to be greeted. In the future I will request a different server however Serafina serves arguably the best Italian food in Fort Lauderdale with seafood given a starring role
Very nice restaurant with a quiet ambiance. I recommend and go back again for a special occasion
The food and service was outstanding. I will definitely be back and refer others
By far, this is the best Italian restaurant! The food it’s incredible good and the service.
Consistent over two dinner visits. Superbly prepared food with excellent service. Moderate, eclectic, fairly priced wine list. Great for outdoor seating. Definitely will return again.
The restaurant is great, and sitting outside by the water was so nice. The service was excellent and friendly. The food was true Italian and the specials were amazing. It's a little pricier, but definitely worth it. I look forward to going back again.
Food was amazing and our waitress was super friendly. This restaurant was a great find.
You would never anticipate, approaching the entrance to Serafina, that the restaurant has such a lovely ambience. We sat right on the water with a great view of the sunset and enjoyed drinks and a delicious octopus appetizer before our leisurely, first-rate dinner of seafood risotto and osso buco. Our waiter was attentive, and the live music was delightful. Highly recommend for a romantic outing.
always good there it will be our second time the food very good
but the best is our serveur marie jane very kind and nice service
We have been going there since it opened. It is a real gem. We shared their antipasti platter. It was filled with Italian cold cuts, olives, mushroom, fresh mozzarella and arugula. Then I had their lasagna which I love because they have a ricotta layer as well as meat sauce. My friend had their bolognaise sauce on a large pasta. We split a piece of cheesecake for dessert. It's always a pleasure to enjoy a meal on the intercostal.
Great night! Thank you
Great food and service!
It was a wonderful
As usual, our dinner at Serafina was wonderful. Love the waterfront location, reasonable priced menu (not cheap but fair for a nice dining experience) though, most importantly, the food never ceases to please and the staff are all wonderful and contribute to a nice meal on the water.
Wonderful food. A hidden gem.
The restaurant was by the water. The food was very good. The bread was Sicilian. The proseco was very good.
This was our first dining experience at Serafina by the water. The food was average. Carpaccio di Manson and Pepata di vongole e Cozze were fair. The Capellini Fra Diavolo Con Gamberi was bland and dry. We had to request some additional sauce. I was disappointedly with the Spigola Cilena all’s Positano. It is described as Chilean Seabass seared, with garlic white wine sauce, shrimp, muscles, clams, capers and cherry tomatoes. The first ingredient should be muscles followed by clams and the last ingredient should be Chilean sea bass
It was raining that day And the restaurant head plastic tarps down to stop the rain. The patio was Narrow and cramped for space. The view was great if you liked looking at the back of large boats. On a scale from 1 to 10 the ambience would be a 2
We had a outside dinner reservation. The hostess said it was drizzling and had us sit inside, the other couples that came in at the Same time were seated outside as well as everyone else. We have been there multiple times and she was adamant about us sitting inside due to the weather. Very disappointed. The waiter also put in the wrong order of risotto and wouldn’t remake the correct one because it would take too long. This was a birthday dinner and my guest ended up getting linguine and oil with garlic.
Great service, beautiful outdoor seating. Great food
Very good!! Liquor price is the only thing that is totally out of line!
Food was very authentic. Our waiter kept trying to convince us not to order certain dishes we wanted because they were “too big”. Super distracting which made our experience less than awesome. He was too involved in our meal repeatedly telling us to relax and enjoy our wine when all we really wanted was the dessert menu.
We gave up on dessert because we didn’t want more interruptions. However the cuisine was very good and the ambiance romantic. Note to restaurant our Barbera was chilled as in “was in the fridge” when it shouldn’t be refrigerated.
The food was great! The patio has a nice atmosphere. Just wished there was more of a breeze.
The food, service and view were great. I ordered the Chilean Sea bass (with shrimp, clams and mussels) which tasted great but it was a little small for the cost. The service is always fantastic and we love seeing but the canal.
Cozy restaurant by the waterway. Staff is professional and accommodating. The meal was delicious. Recommend the carpaccio appetizer, the sea bass with clams, mussels and shrimp was delicious and well as one of the specials for the evening, the Snapper Francese. Marco, or server was kind, funny and professional. His recommendations were spot on. We look forward to coming back again...
Unfortunately the service was so poor... that I had convince everyone to please leave tip. Our waiter was grumpy, unfriendly... The Risotto Tutto Mare was so mushy and Fettuccine Con Panna so bland... tasteless... very 😞
First time but not the last one thanks to Marie Jane nice service
Quaint place located on the water. The service was excellent, the tasty and cooked to perfection. The outside entrance does not look like much, but don't let that stop you. I can't wait to go back. Had an awesome meal sitting outside overlooking the middle river and boats.
Great menu, wonderful spot on the water, and always reliable and attentive service. This is the first time that we went when there was a pianist/singer - she was very good and not obtrusive to our dinner or conversation. One of our favorite romantic places for dinner.
