food and service was perfect !
I was so pleased to see that Serafina at the Time Hotel has opened for outdoor dining. I went for a late dinner, and enjoyed a most outstanding meal. I had the mista salad, the branzino with mashed potatoes, and the chocolate cake with ice cream for dessert. Everything was delicious and my server Gloria was simply glorious - she was so welcoming and made certain that my meal was perfect. I'll be going back very soon.
We went around 245 pm, and the restaurant was empty, more the reason to have excellent service, it was good but not great. They would not take the empty plates away and there was only 1 waiter around to ask for things.
Excellent meal and service.
Food was ok.
Atmosphere was over crowded. The chairs and tables were so close together that people were weighing in other peoples conversations
Sadly the food was nearly inedible. We have been to all the Serafina restaurants many times. It is hard to screw up pizza and pasta but they managed to it.
Good for a quick bite before a show, but kind of crowded and loud. Ambiance not great.
The food and service was amazing. Great drinks, appetizers, entrees and desserts.
This does not live up to serafinas other restaurants in any way. This is a hotel restaurant with hotel restaurant service and we were extremely disappointed with our meal. From seating to eating and leaving we were out in 25 minutes. It was not enjoyable at all
Convenient to theater. Food was average. Burrata salad had just burrata and smoked salmon no vegetables and the burrata was cold, burrata should be room temperature.
The room is dark and unappealing.
Good food, fast and friendly service. The people who worked there were helpful in the selection of our dinner.
They were out of pancakes, French toast, bread.... only
Choices were eggs which were not prepared well. I will never go back and would not recommend it.
We enjoyed our meal and the service was very good. I would highly recommend this location and plan to return soon.
server was patient as we had a few requests. Great spot tucked in the theatre district! nice ambiance, food is really tasty and comes out quickly. Our table of three (3) had a few pastas ( homemade in house ) that were delicious and plentiful.. the other had Branzino which was very good.
On another night, I ordered the arugula shrimp salad w/cannelini beans in a vinaigrette which was AMAZING!! my moth waters thinking about it... !
So fabulous. The food amazing. Service over the top great.
A good place to go before theater. Small washrooms which create lines.
Waiters failed to ever check up on us because we “looked young” I guess? Had to ask ourselves to order drinks, even to get water refilled. Asked for the complementary bread they gave to all the tables except ours, we never ended up receiving it. We did tell them we had to get somewhere so they brought the food out very quickly which was nice but that’s on part of the kitchen staff not the waiters.
It was very intimate and great service. Will return to restaurant again in the near future.
We love coming here before a broadway show
Great service and exceptional ambiance!
I said it was my anniversary it it was not acknowledged
Overall okay meal. Nothing special. Would rather spend my money at a better Italian place.
I've been to several locations and have always been satisfied with the food. However, the pizza was not hot and the salad was fairly bland. It was pre theater, and convenient to where we were going.
Excellent food and Dessert! Staff was amazing!!!! Will absolutely be back!!!!
Amazing!!!!
Waiter was rude and seemed annoyed at every question we had. Also we had a 4 month old baby and did our best to not be disruptive or in the way and he seemed very annoyed at this as well. Definitely would not recommend for 32$ per person for pre fixe brunch
Very enjoyable dinner and drinks
Serafina has quickly become one of our absolute favorites. It combines a relaxed atmosphere (jeans are fine) with being very hip and a great ambiance.
The food is unbelievable! (Your have to have the beef tartare - both types), and it is a solid 50% less expensive than typical NY restaurants, so it’s a fantastic value. The servers are friendly with great senses of humor.
I love Serafina, and this was my first time at this location. Although I am happy to see a place busy, the noise level was annoyingly high (NOT energetic). My server could barely hear me, never mind the guests in my party.
excellent ford very attentive staff a wonderful experience
Went to dinner here before a broadway show. Service was great, we arrived late due to traffic and they were happy to accommodate us. Definitely not the best Italian in the city but solid, nothing was amazing but nothing was bad either. Ok priced for the area and what you get. Would recommend for dinner before a show but probably not otherwise.
Courteous and prompt staff. Excellent jalapeño marguerita!! Food was amazing !!
I order a salad with asparagus, and it cano with other green that was not asparagus
My chair was loose
The restaurante look old, not take care
The food was excellent and we got out in time for our show. Gluten free pasta was excellent.
Very efficient pre-theater service. Fish was good. Pizza was very good.
The food was excellent and the service was horrible.
Great food. Service took into consideration that most people needed to be done in time to walk to nearby theaters. Prices reasonable
The service was excellent! Our party added to the noise level. My daughter said she wants the pasta next time. She was eating other people's pasta after she ate her meal. Everyone loved the food, it was a fun experience for those in the party who don't spend time in the city!
Lobster ravioli and minestrone soup were excellent. Seating very close for pre theatre crowds. Our very small table was placed in an isle.
Absolutely delicious meal! Great food, great service. Ginger lady cocktail was fabulous. Would highly recommend.
