Ambiance is absolutely horrible. The noise and traffic from the kitchen is a total distraction. The kitchen door remained open (propped open or broken). The yellow seats in the restaurant were stained, the chairs were wobbly, and the bathroom in the hotel lobby was filthy (no toilet paper and garbage was overflowing). It felt like the entire place was dirty and run down. Service was fair and the food was just ok. Will not be back and will not recommend.
Severice was great!!! Food was good as well.
The only thing was that the prices on bill didn’t match the online menu prices.
I'm always suspect when a restaurant is busy (pre-theater) and our server doesn't write down an order. My granddaughter and I wanted to split a salad - we ordered and got the wrong one. It was delicious and we ate it anyway, mostly because we were afraid we didn't have enough time to re-order and wait. The food was very good - the tap water had a funny taste to it, so we ended up ordering bottled.
After many trips to NYC and sampling a variety of delicious Italian cuisine, I keep returning to my favorite ~ Serefina!
Fantastic fantastic fantastic
Delicious pizza. We had Tartufo Nero and Italian Cheese (4 cheese) pizzas and they were both delicious. Would definitely return.
This is a great spot for a quality meal, in a relaxed environment. Good service. the Grilled Tuna with mashed and spinach was delish, and cooked perfectly. The waitress struck just the right balance between been attentive without being intrusive.
Our waitress was amazing with her recommendations and service! Food was delicious and portion sizes are truly normal for 1 person.
we made a reservation for a pre theatre dinner that was also very close to the parking garage and the theatre itself. There where a good number of choices for pastas, meat and fish dishes. Our waitress was very attentive and the other staff personnel where courteous and helpful as well.
Serafina has great ambiance and fabulous food--still dream of the Regina Margerita Pizza. Its deliciously thin crust, fresh tomatoes and of course, the buffalo mozzarella had us returning a few nights later. Add to that the wine list, although pricey, had some great selections like a good Super Tuscan. Service was also very friendly and professional. We already returned once!
Great food, service and busy place - bit noisy - but super location for all of Broadway! Would go again
Loved it! Ambiance, excellent service, outstanding meal! AND my kids loved it too. Great find.
Food was wonderful and service was outstanding! Would go back again!!
Food was very good, had lunch. Soup lobster bisque, and cream of broccoli excellent. Hamburg on bun done to perfection, yummy and fries too!!! More than enough food for on the go!! Shopping.....
Food very delicious. Staff was friendly. Good place to have a conversation. The waitress was a little distracted but all in all the food was good
We had a great dinner. The food was fantastic! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a good meal at a nice place!
Bought a bottle of wine and had to serve it to ourselves; appetizer never came; had to ask a few times for Salt; server disappeared after food came; pricey.
Good food but overpriced.
I gave eaten at several Serafina locations and they are all good for a casual meal. As this location was directly across from the theater we were going to, it was a perfect choice. My salmon and lentil dish was very good.
Jose was the best waiter ever. Extremely attentive and got us to the theatre on time!
Diined before show Very fast attentive service
One of the best cappuccinos
I've been a fan of Serafina at the Time Hotel for years. They have very good food and a casual atmosphere. I really like their Vegetarian Platter. Unfortunately, they renovated and the acoustics are bad. The restaurant is extremely noisy during busy times like pre-theatre, and there's no quiet place to sit. Also, they removed their Apple Pie, which I loved, from the menu.
There was hair in my food and the kitchen was nice and replaced it as they should have but instead of comping the meal they gave a free dessert.
Family friendly loved the family share pizza!!!
Excellent waiter - thank you!
The service was extremely disappointing. It took more than fifteen minutes for our waitress to appear and take our order. The restaurant was extremely empty and there was no reason for it to take this long. She incorrectly dealt with the tip - we were consequently charged $10 more than stated on the receipt. The food was good, but portions way too small for the amount you're paying. Dessert - profiteroles - was a highlight.
Amazing food. A little too noisy and service is very rushed.
Had a wonderful dinner. We had never been to this specific Serafina. But as usual the food was great.
I love that we can always count on serafina for a relaxed ambiance and delicious italian food!
The food was excellent and prepared well. It was a little noisy where we were originally seated next to a large party but the hostess was amenable to changing our table to a less noisy area. The ambience was casual and because of the closeness of the tables still somewhat noisy after moving. I suspect it serves a pre-theater crowd gvrn the location.
Entire dining experience over in 40 minutes! There was no opportunity to enjoy the meal as courses were being delivered on top of one another. Pastas were excellent. Salad was average. Very disappointing experience. Felt like we weren’t important as customers more that they just wanted to clear the table to fill it again. Restaurant was not packed. Perhaps this is why. Ambience was nothing special. Would not recommend nor will we return.
We were looking for a nice place to dine before the theatre. Close and convenient. Looked at reviews and decided to try. Reviews can be misleading and emotional. Here's the real scoop....food was very good. Wife had the Bass and I had the homemade Ravioli in Truffle sauce. We shared a Tiramisu for desert. Food and presentation was quite acceptable. Service, was excellent....ask for Oscar, he's great. I'm finding that some people who complain about poor service are usually the ones who not only have unrealistic expectations, but also a low tolerance for imperfection...they should get over themselves!
I recommend Serafina!!
We are from out of town and have eaten here several times in the past. I ordered the steak salad which I have had before. The portion was very small. I left the table hungry and it was not inexpensive. My husband is gluten free and we are used to paying more for the pasta but never $5.00. The most we have been charged is $3.00 in far more expensive establishments.
we are from out of town
The food was AMAZING
Ideal location for dinner before a show. Service is fast and friendly. Food is average.
Service feels rushed and robotic.
Our waiter was very attentive and service was great but the al dente pasta was hard and difficult to eat. The salmon was very dry. The noise level was ridiculous and we had a hard time carrying on a conversation.
We ate here prior to Broadway show. The location is great for a pre-dinner show. You can eat at your own pace, not rushed if time to kill or food out quick if you are running late. Food is quite tasty and restaurant clean.
Much too noisy, making it difficult to converse. Otherwise, great
This is the second Serafina Restaurant I went to and they both were very friendly and good food....Our server was friendly and on top of everything....
