Delicious ravioli with mushrooms and tasty chopra salad. Sorbets yummy. Kids loved the rigatoni Bolognese.
The steak was soooo good! I asked the waiter for mashed potatoes instead of fries but my meal came out with fries I didn’t even mention it plus the fries were REALLY good! Great experience i’ll Be back again
Food was ok but overpriced. Waitress did the minimum to secure a 20% tip.
Better food and pizza elsewhere in NY. The one we were at was truly mediocre. Arugula salad wasn't seasoned at all. Pizza crust was the best thing about the pizza. It's a shame as Serafina used to be noteworthy. Service was also run of the mill. Place was half empty.
Just a great dining experience all around. Felt wonderful to indulge in the middle of an afternoon.
Made reservations based on a friends recommendation. Table was by the open front door where waves of heat bombarded us. The seafood was average. Looked great, but had no real flavor. Not bad, just not worth recommending.
Manager took his good old time to acknowledge us when we walked in. The Restaurant was practically empty. The rest of the Restaurant staff just looked at us and never acknowledged us either.
When we finally sat down, it took a long time from getting the tap water served to actually taking our order.
The food was very mediocre.
Just absolutely amazing from start to finish. No questions the best place ever.go here
The service was very slow despite the restaurant not being crowded. Sodas are quite expensive with no refills included. The wrong dish was input for my husband so we had to wait an extensive period of time for the correct dish. We were offered a free refill on our sodas for the inconvenience (I was finished with my meal before my husband received his). The food was average.
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Serafina. The food was delicious, but a little pricey. The chocolate sensation desert was magnificent.
Black troffle ravioli was excellent
Love this place for years - close to midtown hotels - excellent food - excellent value - friendly and attentive staff. We had a great time !!
Amazing Restaurant...Had the Lobster Ravioli with a glass of Riesling... went home wanting to come back again! Delicious!
Love their pasta dishes!!
The hostess put us in the back near the bus boys and where they put through the orders with a piece of wood from the station jabbing into my side, which I’m a small person, while I’m sitting at my table. Then, the waiter didn’t even ask if we wanted any other drinks besides water, didn’t give us bread like he did every other table, and they kept taking away our plates when we weren’t finished. Obviously if it’s three girls having a girls night out, there is going to be a little chatting throughout dinner and there’s not going to be a rush to leave. The bread was completely stale and when we asked to heat it up because it was completely cold and hard, they said no and looked at us like we were crazy. The only thing good was the pizza with prosciutto and eggs on it.
Met a friend for lunch. Service was quick and food excellent. Have been there for dinner as well and would highly recommend this place to everyone!
The food is great. But the manager tried to rush us through the restaurant (didn't even ask my name which I had to tell him so he could check off that I had showed up on my OpenTable reservation) to a small back table in the dark. I objected as it was a beautiful night and although there were no tables available outside , I at least insisted on sitting close to the doors that stay open onto the street. We had also mentioned it was my daughter's graduation celebration but they did absolutely nothing to make it special. They didn't even put a candle in dessert. Food is good but they've gotten a bit careless and arrogant.
Bologna is and spinach fettuccine were delicious. Service attentive without being over bearing.
Not up to par compared to dining at their upper east side location. Their signature spaghetti squash was bland and prepared without any care. The pizza was bland. For the times we had enjoyed eating at Serafina, their expansion has obviously watered down the experience and presentation!? We will not visit again. Too many other good choices
I was sadly disappointed! I was looking forward to lunch there but, the tuna that was served was not edible! I requested it rare and could not even cut it with a knife...and it was rare! The service was not good either. So sad!
The cost for the amount of food was absurd even for midtown. We have spaghetti, risotto, prosciutto and cheese, and one glass of wine for $92.
Went for breakfast. Dissapointed with the quality of the bread and croissant. Eggs as well, first came cold, then not that good.
Service was fair, but far from good.
Go for the pizza and cocktails. Other food items were mediocre.
Star away from the filet mignonette burger...it was the opposite of tender and juicy
Service was very slow.
The food was very good and the location is very convenient.
The food was delicious! Staff are very friendly and professional!
Dined with family and enjoyed an excellent meal in a fun atmosphere. Sat inside but able to see out the front windows which was great for watching people.
Very nice food terrible service, waiter forgot most of the order & both waiter very very moody
Good food. Service could have been better. Sometimes had to wait for drink refills. Server totally didn't bring a members plate for pizza and her salad. Like he didn't know she even ordered.
Very pleasant and elegant interior. We were able to sit at a table next to an open wall of window, taking in the lovely spring breeze and Broadway bustle. Service was pleasant and well paced ... not too pushy, but they checked in often enough. My pasta was tasty, but not hot, and my fellow guest loved their burger. Beer menu could be expanded. Overall, a lovely dining experience and we would go back.
Don't mind paying $20 for a good hamburger in Manhattan, but they over cooked it, and the fries where cold and no where near to being fresh.
Special day for my girlfriend. She was happy with the ravioli and my feast was superb!
Came to NYC for concert and to enjoy company of family living in the city. This has been a favorite choice for myself and family members for years. The food is consistently great. The hostess Friday evening was a class act as are the waiters cc always.
A good place for a casual reunion- good service - good food!
Pleasant experience. My sister ordered pasta and would have enjoyed also getting bread
More ravioli in the plate would be nice
Excellent food. Good service.
This was our second time to eat at Serafina. Having had a good experience the first time, we headed back. We were seated quickly but after almost 15 min without anyone stopping at our table I had to go back up to the hostess and ask her to get our server. Well, that didn't go over well. I think they only had one working and he made it very obvious we were not welcome. Food came quickly and we left. Not the fun night out we had hoped for. We'll go to some different italian restaurants next time we are in town, plenty in NYC to try!
