A family dinner for my Birthday! Tony took good care of us.
Order came out wrong, ordered medium well, it came out medium, several missed items that was ordered never came out plus I felt rushed. This was my 3rd time here and by far the worst experience
Tabitha, our server, made the night exceptional!
Incredible service by Tabitha! Steaks prepared perfectly and enjoyed variety of sides.
Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. I had high hopes for this restaurant as my girlfriend and I were celebrating our anniversary and they completely blew it out the water. Attentive. Amazing Ambiance. Tasty and delicious food. I will be coming back regularly
The noise level out of the bar is so loud that patrons must talk loud to hear others at table.
For the cost save your money. This is not an upscale place. It’s nice just not the white table cloth experience you are paying for. Our table was warped so glasses would not sit level. Scallops are always expensive but $40 for 3. Won’t be back.
I was in Dallas for a conference at the Hilton Anatole and we had such a good experience we went 2 nights in a row with clients.
Typical steakhouse pricing and menu. The crab cakes, tomato with mozarell and corn chowder were awesome. The desserts are also worth saving room for.
Frank our waiter and his assistant Aledi helped make the meal. They know we enjoyed the Layer Cake wine so they made sure they went out to buy bottles for us for the second night. Views of Dallas from the 27th floor were great.
The views were amazing but the food was awful! So overpriced & came out cold. The service was amazing but I won’t be back.
There was a very obnoxious double date that was showing signs of being inappropriate and it was topped off with one of the men pulling their pants down to show a tattoo of their ankle or was horrid. Spent $400 on a date to see someone else’s undies gross. We should haven been moved or they should have been asked to settle down.
Very very cold ...almost had to move as it was to cold by windows...great food
Food, atmosphere, and view were amazing. My wife and I were here for our 5 year anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
Our waiter “Tony” was awesome! Thank you for making our celebration a wonderful one!
My mother and I had a wonderful time for the Easter Brunch. Everything was beautifully decorated, the food was delicious and the music added a lovely touch to the experience. Great service as well, very attentive and genuinely kind.
Great place for brunch.
Grossly overpriced. Fantastic view, but it was like being charged $200 for it. Not going back.
The food was great we had a very nice, off the menu, aged wagyu steak and a seafood tower. The tower is pretty much a tower. It serves way more than 2 people. The sides were great and the best part was the desserts. Our server was nice and the chef came out to talk to us about our steak. It was nice to see the chef and have him go over the meal for us.
The food was absolutely phenomenal. The ambience, from the live jazz music to the wonderful (but not overpowering) aroma from the kitchen, made for a completely pleasant dining experience. I don't think I've ever had such polite, prompt service. I'd come here over and over again.
Group of six adults dined there on St. Patrick’s Day. We had made reservations 3 days prior. Each had a different appetizer, main course, side and dessert. Everything was perfect. Food was delicious - kudos to the chef. Our Waiter (I think named Robert) was knowledgeable about menu, extremely personable, perfect attention level to table - not hovering, but always paying attention. Live music was pleasant and enjoyable. View of Dallas was spectacular. It really could not have been a more perfect night. Plan on an expensive dinner. We ended up at a $100 average per plate including a couple drinks, but it was worth every penny. One in our party was a former food critic for an OKC newspaper. She stated it was one of the most memorable meals she had ever experienced.
I had a 7:15 reservation and arrived at around 6:30 was immediately seated by one of the nicest hostess I’ve ever met. Our server was very attentive the music was at a perfect level and it felt like we were the only ones there. This says a lot to me being a Friday night at, what most restaurants would call, the busiest time. I couldn’t have asked for more.
Overall great experience!
SER Steak+Spirits is not too far away from being a 5 star restaurant, and, perhaps, just a few thoughtful steps will bring it there. It certainly has one of the best views in Dallas, and the menu is well-appointed for many palates, seeking a steak restaurant. It is an expensive restaurant, and the staff should be more cognizant that the food and service needs to match the prices. Service was adequate, at best. Initially, we were greeted by a young hostess, who, basically, ordered us to sit at the table, she decided we should occupy. The table she selected was right next to a family of 6 with an infant, and in front of this particular table was a group of 8 or more, boisterous celebrants. This group would have blocked our enjoyment of the great, scenic view and they were very noisy. When I objected to that choice of table, she did not wish to change it, even thought there were other, very acceptable tables available. Finally, she reluctantly agreed. Apparently, this interchange was noted by the individual, who was to be our waiter, and he greeted us quite icily at first. He slowly got better as the evening went on. Probably, this was because I engaged the manager in the situation. The drinks were great. I had a wedge salad, which was exceptionally disappointing, It was a small, thin wheel of lettuce, topped by very little. My wife feasted on a chilled seafood tower, which, she felt, was outstanding. I had a veal chopped and a baked potato casserole. Both were very good. We were not offered the option of having dessert. Clearly, more attention to detail and more rigorous standards for the service are in order to make this the steakhouse it should be.
Excellent service with a beautiful view of Dallas !!!
The food, service and view were outstanding! Would absolutely recommend to anyone wishing to have a great food experience while in Dallas!
Total perfection! From the moment we arrived the service was stellar. Great atmosphere and amazing service and food.
Great dinner. On 27th floor of the Anatole Hotel with great view. Our waitress Tabitha was one of the best restaurant waitstaff that I’ve ever been served by. I’ve eaten at a lot of great Dallas steakhouses and this one in now on my top. My steak was done perfect. Dinner was a great experience.
As always, the good and service was impeccable. We brought our 19-month old daughter this time and everyone was so kind. The staff was so accommodating, catering to her every need and even talking to her like she was an older child.
Love it- amazing live musician! Food was just outstanding! Highly recommend for date, special occasions or business
We chose "SER" for our granddaughters birthday, we were looking for a great view of the Dallas Skyline, great food and great service. We got it all at "SER".
We experienced a little trouble with the Hostess - I had requested window seating with a reservation for 4, never notified that might be a problem. When we arrived hostess tried to seat us at 4 top 1 row off the windows, and told us there were no 4 tops at the windows. We found that odd since there was one table set for 4 at the windows and one 4 top with 3 diners at the windows. A quick chat with the manager and problem solved, I'm sorry I didn't get this pleasant blonds' name because she handled the problem beautifully!!!!
Our server was outstanding!!! We had cocktails, wine, a couple of soda's, and latte….he served each round perfectly. As for dinner, grandkids wanted everything on the seafood tower for starters, it did not disappoint, from the oysters (our grandsons fav) to the lobsters, it was all tasty and beautifully presented. Also, it came with beautiful sauces perfect for each selection.
For our Entrees we had two Rib-Eyes, one filet and one Salmon. All were incredibly tasty, served hot with great sides.
They surprised us with an ice cream cake….lucky us, our granddaughter had just asked her mom for one for her upcoming birthday party. (Score one for the Grandparents!!)
So happy with our decision, even though we were there on Sunday evening, the vibe was fun, upbeat….Just perfect for us.
Good food but way overpriced. Nice menu options, varied availability
The food was fantastic and the view of Dallas was breathtaking on the 27th floor. Service & Staff was tops and very friendly! Highly recommended as one of the best restaurants in Dallas!!!
Our dinner was wonderful! The service was great and we enjoyed the live music while we ate. This is a special spot in Dallas.
It was my birthday!! Staff is always amazing! Food, and dessert A+!!!
Worst service, we sat at our table for 40 minutes without any service.
We had to stop one of the hostess just to get water. And it wasn't just our table, 5 other tables in our area had the same experience. Actually never got waited on, Jeff the sommelier served our entire meal. Would never recommend SER to anyone.
Me and my fiance went there for valentines day dinner. It took an hour to get our first plate in a 5 course meal. And i had to get up to find our waitress to let her know we've been waiting so long. The food was ok, not worth the 230 dollars we paid. The lobster was over cooked and chewy. My fiance did not eat hers. The steak was just a normal steak. Nothing special. And the dessert room was kinda weird. Just random little snacks sitting on plates as u walk around a room and pick what you want. I'd rather be served a slice of cake or something. We will never be going back there or recommending to anyone else. Definitely wish we spent our valentines day somewhere else
My wife and I went to the Anatole’s Ser Steak & Spirit restaurant for Valentine’s day. Since we had never been there, but to Nanna’s many times, I thought that we would give it a try. The dining experience can be described as going to a convention dinner. I understood going into this that this would be a very busy day for restaurants of this caliber and that I would have to have to practice a degree of patience.
To make room for the guest, additional tables were put into available spaces that would normally be used for other convention activities.
It was obvious that the wait staff where not those who normally worked in the restaurant but in a convention setting. Having them describe the menu items was the first hint and then as you observed how the courses were served. Now the wait staff did work hard, and I must commend them. Being a waiter at one time myself, I do understand. The highlight was watching a waiter carry a large baking sheet to deliver courses to three different tables. This was a tag team event because we never had a consistent waiter: The person who took our order was not the person who gave us the bill.
The desserts, petit fours, were ok but nothing to talk about. You could get them from your local grocery and then they were served buffet style. You also went and got your own coffee.
This is not what I expected for the price that I paid. Would I go back, not sure, but not during a holiday.
Food was horrible! Service was terrible! The waiter kept walking away in between questions about the menu. The busboy spilt the water on every cup he poured. Then the dinner came and every order was wrong. I would never go there again
Service was poor they took 40 minutes to get us a table and another hour to offer us the menu then another 40 minutes to bring us the food plus very pricey there’s several high end restaurants better than this I don’t recommend this restaurant to anyone for any occasion
The first time I was here I was absolutely blown away. The service was phenomenal, the view was great, and he ambience was unprecedented. I have told so many people to go here and bragged about how great of a restaurant this was.
The second time I came was for Valentine’s Day. I was VERY disappointed to the point where we almost got up and left.
We were stuck in a little back room that didn’t even seem to be a part of the venue. It was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. 3 of our 5 courses came out at the exact same time. They brought us red wine instead of champagne. They also brought me the wrong food for my entree and took another 20 minutes to bring me the correct food. After all was said and done, we waited another 20 minutes for our bill and another 10 for him to take our payment. We ended up spender $250 and I left very upset, especially for a romantic evening I tried to plan for us. Not to mention, your prices were doubled on Valentine’s Day which is illegal. My salmon I normally get is $40 (price is irrelevant) but tell me why it had doubled to $96 that night?
I hope his is just a mistake, but I am hesitant to ever come back.
