   Food was under seasoned. Took my son for his birthday. Not only that but the service was very below par. Was trying to let him see what a high end steakhouse was like and our server wasn’t that informative and it took forever for her to check on us. And when she did it was a quick drop off. I tried to get her engaged but it was a no go. She was friendly just not attentive.

   When we arrived, there was a young man playing an electric guitar that sounded great! He played some very soulful music that we really enjoyed. However, it stopped about an hour after we were seated. The hostess said he left suddenly saying he had an emergency. Our reservation was for 7p and it was not very busy. It took a very long time to get our drinks. In fact, our appetizers came out before the drinks did. The appetizers (prawns and chicken) and our cocktails were good. The main courses took over an hour to come out. The food was not hot nor was it seasoned (porkchop, short rib pasta, macaroni and cheese, and broccolini). I would not recommend any of the items we got. I was very disappointed, especially given the price point and we were celebrating a birthday. It then took just as long to get our check and dessert. We anticipated the dessert would take a while (because everything took forever) so we ordered it to-go. We literally waited 32 minutes after we paid our check for this cold dessert to come out. It was the donut cheesecake that was ice cold so I assumed it was just removed from the fridge and placed in a to-go container, so why did it take so long to come to the table?! There was no to-go utensils included. When we asked for them, we were told we'd have to wait, again! We just left. Unfortunately, we will not be back despite the excellent views of the city from the dining room.

   Ally the server was incredible, she helped us from start to finish by reviewing the menu, recommending dishes, and creating great conversation throughout the evening. WOuld 100% recommend and go back here!

    Great food, great views. One problem when the check came I ordered 2 Blanton’s the menu says $27, when I got the check I was charged $48 each for $96. When I ask the waitress and the bartender they were like oh well it is what it is…no it’s switch and bait. Would like a managers response to this. I didn’t want to ruin a nice evening, but would like to come back.

    Overpriced, entree had not rested in kitchen but instead on dinner plate, $300 tab and Ser charges for bread. Service was adequate but understand why the restaurant was @ 50% capacity.

    Usually your sever makes recommendations lets you know the specials. Our server did none of the above. She also continued to take the drink menu after I asked her to leave more than 3 times. I'd have to say that she was the worst sever I've ever had at a restaurant of this caliber.

    The food was delicious, the server was friendly, but the wait for everything was unacceptable. Our dinner time was over 3 hours long & we had a later reservation (8:30) and it wasn’t really crowded. It took forever & I’m not sure what the issue was but others around us were experiencing the same problem. For instance, our dessert took over 25mins to make it to the table after were ordered. We weren’t in a hurry, so that helped but geesh. The food def helped make up for the wait though, it was perfect

    Great view from the 27th floor. Watched the evening turn from dusk to dark. The city lights on the skyscrapers in downtown and the bridges connecting downtown to West Dallas was for a nice panoramic view of the city. Would recommend for special occasions, or just a great dinner in Dallas!

    Have been to SER many times over the years. This food was not there usual great food this time. I ordered a steak and it was under cooked and cold. My wife had the chicken and it was dry. The mashed potatoes were delicious and the rolls were great.

    The atmosphere and people where fantastic. We ordered the apitizers and they where delicious. The steaks we ordered where not as tender as a steak at that price should be! The Bacon side was also fantastic. The service was outstanding and the view even on a Rainey night was outstanding. Our waiter was on top of his game.

    We ordered the boneless ribeye, and it was cooked to perfection! We also had the potato purée( mashed potatoes), Brussel sprouts, and ordered some rolls. The portions were huge. We shared and they was still leftovers. Our waitress was amazing and the view was breathtaking. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.

    I would recommend this restaurant with some disclaimers. Our servers shirt was stained but yet there is a dress code for their paying customers. Maybe a uniform check at the beginning of the shift.We reserved our table 30 minutes after opening so that was an old stain. Food was okay but Perry's is better. Music was upbeat but loud. Temperature of the room was fridged. My wife and daughter were frozen when we left. I was cold but thank goodness for long sleeved shirts. We were seated by the server station and were able to hear all the issues they were experiencing. Hostess was very nice.

    Great display of beautifully and deliciously prepared and presented buffet! We always love SER, but they go all out for mothers on Mother’s Day. Rena was on top of everything, and the jazz group awesome. SER always comes through!

    My siblings and I took our mom to SER Steak + Spirit for Mother’s Day brunch and absolutely enjoyed the complete experience. I will certainly return next year should they open for brunch 2024 and highly recommend them to family and friends. The manager Tonya was fantastic!

    Excellent food for Mother's Day brunch and Congrats to the Chefs. Our server was fair and he didn't seem like he wanted to be there. It was so cold, especially for my 92 year old mother but all 4 of us were cold. We told our server when we first sat down but it got even colder by the time we left after two hours. Also we were initially charged $10 more per person until I told our server my confirmation email had the lower price. Not a good policy to advertise one price and then charge a higher price at checkout. I wonder how many people didn't catch this mistake. Overall, I am very disappointed in this upscale, expensive restaurant.

    We celebrated Mother’s Day Brunch at SER, and it was fabulous!! The food was outstanding. Even with the clouds and rain, the view was very nice. The staff was friendly.     Definitely coming back for dinner! Mother’s Day Brunch was fabulous! We really liked how everything was individual servings. I know that took a long time to prep and we really appreciated it and enjoyed ourselves!! Lots to choose from! I forgot our servers name but she is knowledgeable and the service was perfection!     Overall I felt the service was lacking with the hostesses and bar staff. Had a reservation at 7:30pm and had to wait in the bar area until almost 8pm to get window seats. Took awhile for the bar staff to acknowledge me and they just didn’t seem too enthusiastic to serve me. The bar wasn’t too busy but we enjoyed the drinks. The ambience and views were amazing. There was a problem with the printer to the bar and it took forever to get my drink once we were seated at our table. Food was good and we enjoyed it. As I mentioned earlier the service was just lacking and I expected them to be more attentive. I’ve been to other restaurants like Nick and Sam’s, Al Biernat’s, Dakota’s and the service was on point at those places. Maybe they were all having an off night. Also the valet drivers were high and smoking something when we picked up our car. My car stunk on the drive home.
