Food was awsome as always and the service is top notch!!! Cant wait to go back!
ABOVE AND BEYOND. Came to Sequoia for my birthday and from start to finish it was incredible. We started at the bar before our reservation and the bartender was excellent. The pomegranate & cranberry mojito he made was on point. Once in the dinning room, the experience only got better. Our server went above and beyond to accommodate all of our requests. He provided great guidance through the menu. Service was exceptional, he gave outstanding recommendations and maintained perfect balance of table maintenance and attentiveness without over-servicing. All the dishes we ordered were delicious. I'm personally a seafood lover so this was a great pick, but they also had some nice steak options. Managers were also very present, stopped by our table multiple times throughout the night to make sure I was having a great birthday. They even personally came out with a birthday plate with a spectacular candle to end the night.
Overall, the best service and food I've experienced and my birthday was truly special because of Sequoia. Thank you. We will be back often.
Despite the snowy/icy night, we made it out to Sequoia. It was worth it. Service from top to bottom, beginning to end, was one of the best I've ever experienced. We we're greeted warmly at the front and the host kindly asked if we would like our coats checked. You see coat checks less and less these days so I appreciated the touch. We were seated immediately by the window, next to the view. Our server greeted us and had a nice introduction to the menu. We decided on the tower. WOW!! Best thing ever!! Everything on there was fresh and delicious. Our entrees were excellent as well. I got the cippiono and I was not ashamed to pick up the bowl and down that flavorful broth. Server was always there when we needed him but never intrusive. For dessert I highly recommend the bombolinis, fresh and hot Italian doughnuts that melted in my mouth.
Excellent dinner Sequoia! We will be back.
Great dinner. A bit pricey for the specials but worth a visit
We had a dinner date for two here to celebrate Valentine’s Day (the weekend after). All of the food was delicious! We enjoyed the ceviche as an appetizer, the ribeye and lobster risotto entrees, and the doughnuts for dessert. I wasn’t a big fan of the doughnuts (just personal preference), but my husband loved them. The service was amazing, the servers were polite and very attentive. I enjoyed the light music they played. Overall a great place for a date nights or special occasion!
Saturday brunch was DELICIOUS! The steak and eggs is perfection! Cannot wait to go back on a Sunday.
John was an amazing server for Saturday Brunch and kept the food and drinks coming with no questions asked. Other staff members were also readily available with smiles on their faces and ready to serve us. This is my second time coming to brunch and will continue. Definitely worth the price.
Our waiter was great and so was the greeter. The menu selections were a bit limited.
My girlfriend and I went for Valentine's day. Everything was great!!! Ozzie was our server and provided a fantastic dining experience! Great food, great service, and great drinks.
Awesome..customer service was great and did not wait long at all for food, drinks etc
Food and service were up to expectations but not over the top to earn the full 5 stars. The main issue we had during our meal was the music in the restaurant. Sounds simple enough to plan for the Valentine's pre-fix menu, but that seems to be something that management doesn't consider important. During our Valentine's meal we heard everything from Plain White Tees, Adele, Nickelback, Maroon 5, etc. It was not dinner music and definitely not for for a nice conversation. On top of that we had to ask 3 times to have them just turn the volume down so we didn't have to raise our voices to hear each other. So if you're into that energy for an expensive dinner, great. We just had different expectations for our first experience at this restaurant. Overall rating is a 3 out of 5, one we can check off the list but it'll be hard to go back until we can hang out on the patio in the summer with a few drinks instead.
Very good all around
Went there for Valentines day with my wife. The restaurant wasn't super busy with plenty of empty tables, but the service was poor. Took 20 minutes to get initial drinks and refills on soda let alone alcohol was intermittent. The food was delicious and when they overcooked my wifes steak the manager was happy to replace it. Over all the experience wasnt bad, it just wasn't what we paid for since the meal plus drinks was around 300.00. I have had better experiences there but it was several years ago. This is not what we expected from a place this nice with a reputation as a fine dining establishment.
The service was wonderful and the food lovely overall, but the music selection for the Valentine’s Day dinner was quite lousy. It was too loud to be able to comfortably hear your dinner partner across the table and just bad corny pop music.
Didn't have a great time. A manager called an apologize, he seemed to legitimately care about my experience.
Red Snapper and Filet Mignon have no flavor but service was great!
It was the best restaurants I been in DC good attitude and on time with the food.
It was a good place to stay with my fiance on valentine day.
I love Brunch! It was my boyfriend's first time and he was impressed. Chris was very personable.
I loved everything , so did my wife.
