Dining at Sequoia is always something my group looks forward to. Rachel kept the drinks flowing and she was such an amazing waitress. We appreciated her attention and care.

The selection and quality of food offering was exceptional. Be prepared, it is quite expensive and very loud. Nonetheless, it is well worth the money for the experience.

This place is soooooo overrated. Who wants to sit in a dining area upstairs when buffet is being served downstairs. You have to go down stairs and get your food and by the time you get back to your seat your food is cold. The crab legs were horrible. Very small and very cold. I can't understand why they don't steam and season the crab legs. When I called to confirm if the crab legs were going to be served hot, I receive a yes response. Unfortunately that's not true. The crab cakes were ok but the wait time was too long. Wait time for omelets were too long.

Then the servers act like that get tired running for drinks when they're getting their tips up front.

The frozen Bellini isn't frozen because they tell you it's too many people and the machine can't handle all these people.

They can do better. I gave it a two just being nice. I should give a one star.

I went to Sequoia’s for my birthday and it was great. I’ve been before & never had complaints but this time was spectacular. It’s like they slightly updated their menu & change some things around inside the food area. Selection of desserts always bomb!

Food was good, but nothing really special. Nice selection. Servers attentive and polite. Morning sun coming through windows caused cheese and meat offerings to harden but they were not changed out. I think $70 per person is way over priced. I’ve had nicer experiences.

Disappointing missing view of the Potomac river, since the brunch is held in a backroom instead of the luxurious advertised main room.

We frequent Sequoia, and are usually very pleased with the experience. The service during this most recent trip could have been a lot better, but the food and ambiance were enjoyable.

What an AMAZING Birthday Brunch!! Sequoia has really outdone themselves...must be under new management...I'm so glad our table was upstairs...it was beautiful to look out on the water. The bottomless offerings and food was amazing...I think the desserts could have been better, but all in all this was one of the best brunches I've been too in a very long time ... KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!

Thank you for the experience,
Ms. Brown

Horrible experience tonight. It was a special occasion, but the restaurant called the afternoon of our reservation to tell us we had been moved to the "State Dining a Room" because of a private event. Had we known this even a day earlier, or had we understood that the State Dining Room is the ambiance of an airport restaurant, we would never have come. What a bait and switch. It feels like they knew they had a private event but did not tell the other customers until that afternoon so they could force people into an awful atmosphere that nobody would have chosen for themselves.

We did not realize it was an all you can eat brunch but we were pleasantly surprised! They had an event in the main dining room so we were in the state room. Still a nice space. Our server Freddy was attentive and checked in until the end when he was assigned some tables on the opposite side of the room and we saw less of him. We are enjoying our food and drinks so it was fine. Would recommend for a nice brunch out!

Sequoia has really stepped up their game in the last year or so. I don’t often come here during the winter but we were celebrating a friends birthday. Staff was friendly and professional. Service was on point, so was the food. How everything stayed so fresh and delicious at a buffet is beyond me. It definitely gets pretty packed so come early to avoid the crowd. A must try!!

Love Sequoia tapas brunch for celebrations. They offer a “Frose” which is pretty and delicious. In addition, they have several other all you can drink brunch drinks included in the price. Saturday tapas includes yummy items like French toast, chicken and waffles, salmon toast and a good variety of options that aren’t all breakfast food. To add to your experience, ask to sit in Freddy’s or Carlos’ sections. They are both excellent at their jobs and will take very good care of you.

Awesome Saturday brunch. Tapas style with drinks included. Only downside is the tables are a little close together, so you can hear everyones conversation around you, but other that that an amazing experience.

Great service and ambience. We had a late night reservation, we understand the pre fix menu but it was too much for us , we would have preferred three course menu or just a drinks and dessert menu.

Overall great experience, thanks for making it special.
