Loved the view. Loved the food and loved the service!!!
Had a nice time at Sequoia Sat on patio, outdoor heater provided enough warmth
Sequoia takes COVID protocols seriously. We had our temperature taken and provided contact tracing info upon arrival. We had reserved a table on the patio. It was a beautiful afternoon, the restaurant was at COVID capacity, and there were quite a few boats docked, so the atmosphere was lively. Our server did an excellent job of explaining the menu and wine list, and the service was excellent overall. The menu is a bit smaller these days, but still had ample offerings. Our food was quite good and arrived promptly. We also had an excellent and seasonal pumpkin brûlée that I would recommend. Sequoia has a 2 hour limit on the table, so an hour and forty five minutes in, we were handed the check. Were we rushed? Not exactly, but I don’t love the fact that we were expected to depart within the 2 hour limit. The patio offers a great dining experience, so I would recommend it, as long as you are aware that at the two hour mark you will be expected to leave.
Me and my friends can’t wait to come back here. For $62.95 on Saturday’s you get all you can eat and drink which includes crab legs and oysters. This place was worth the price and we especially loved all the precautions they take amidst Covid 19
Beautiful terrace and delicious food. Waiter wasn't the best, but will definitely return.
Outstanding outdoor venue with view of river. On a sunny afternoon, one could not ask for more.
Food was the best I have in awhile. Looking for ward to coming back soon!
haven’t been here in about two years. when i came they had a cotton candy maker and all types of desserts. the big room in the back was a HUGE buffet full of any food you can think of for breakfast, lunch (brunch) but due to covid NONE of that was available. it kinda sucked.
Everything was nice, and our server Rachel was very attentive.
Great views. Excellent service and the food was very tasty. Will definitely return.
Need more seasoning. Food is flavorless. Drinks food. Nice vibe
Great place, Great food, Great drinks and Great Setting!
The food, service and overall ambience was simply amazing!
The food was good, the service excellent, the view spectacular. The decor is not my style- too modern- but that's ok. I was looking at the fantastic view.
Sequoia has always been one of my go to spots for brunch on the weekends. I always enjoy the buffet selections. So, of course I had y reservations, being that now we are in a pandemic, buffets are no longer an options. However; they did not disappoint with the tapas alternative. All the selections we ordered met the same standards as the usual buffet and then some. It was also nice that the weather is still warm enough to enjoy eating on the outdoor patio area, so if you aren't comfortable with the indoor eating, you have an alternative for a few more weeks until the colder weather is here to stay.
Our waiter Jeff has excellent customer service. He made my dad's birthday very special with the surprise birthday cake and his pleasant service. Food was good and on time. The ambiance was great, just wish the outside heaters was on. We was there for Saturday brunch on 10/17 so it was just a tad chilly. We was told the heaters dont come on until after 5 during dinner. Besides that, awesome experience
perhaps because we were between shifts, the service was fair. Our hostess was very helpful and friendly. the wait staff seemed preoccupied.
The service and environment was amazing!
It was sub-par for the price point. My girlfriends lobster tail seemed to have been over-cooked as it was basically fully out the shell before we even tried to shucked it out. I know this because a couple across from us had to use the provided shell fork to get hers out. Though the linguini was perfect. My Chimichurri chicken was bland and it really says something if the black beans and rice were the highlight of the plate (flavorful). I’ve had better chicken at local Latin restaurants for more than half the cost. I ordered it because the waiter recommended it over the salmon, that was a big mistake. I probably would have been happier with the salmon.
They did a great job for my boyfriends birthday!!! ♥️
Carlos our waiter was fantastic! He was cheeky and we loved it.
Always....ALWAYS have someone in your party order the chicken and waffles at brunch. That bourbon and maple syrup is delicious. The view from that patio is lovely and the services is great.
We enjoyed our patio event until it started raining
It was a little rowdier than I would have preferred.
A nice setting but average in everyway, food, service and atmosphere. There was a large group that came in that was VERY loud and walked around on their phones while drinking. It was more like being in a bar than at Sunday morning brunch. We got a laugh when we looked at the menu and saw " Judith Point Calamari" as a selection. I'm from Rhode Island and it is "Point Judith". Just kind of struck me as not really on top of things.
Was there for Sunday brunch. The food was good. The service was excellent!
It was my daughters 15th birthday, and I called ahead to confirm that we could order crab kegs did brunch, and the hostess advised that we could order them a la carte. We get there only to find that the hostess lied and that we could NOT order crab legs at all. There was no apology or anything. The Irish coffees that we ordered were cold, and there was no special birthday dessert or anything for my daughter. My daughter had her heart set on snow crab legs, which was the only reason I even made the reservation. Very disappointed in the food and service.
Excellent experience. Great night of food and cocktails.
Paying for ambiance. service was terrible- waited around 25/30 minutes before someone came over. Booked the reservation two weeks ago and was put in the back corner by the kitchen outside. Food was mediocre for how expensive it was. Would NOT go back again, once was enough.
It was a chilly night so the outside heaters were very much appreciated. It stated in the menu servers would be wearing gloves...none were seen. The food was good but the service was definitely lacking. The server seemed very uninterested and distracted. We received the check without him asking about dessert or coffee so off we went.
Always a great time. Food and service were spot on and thr ambience in the water puts it over the top.
Brunch is extremely overpriced. Nice outdoor view of the waterfront but that’s about it. Waited forever for “bottomless” drink refills, brought the wrong drink to us twice, then promptly told it was last call. Food itself is decent but nothing warranting $80 per person after tax and tip.
Great spot ! Met my expectations and felt safe.
Can’t speak highly enough about this amazing establishment. beautiful location, amazing food and top notch service. can’t wait to return!!
Went the first time for lunch and the organization was not to my expectations, the hostess was nice but was confused with the seating chart, the waitress was very casual and brung is a broken plate and when we asked for it to be replaced she didn’t even apologize about it just placed it on the table and walked away , i ordered the blackened salmon and the lettuce was brownish and soggy 🥺 not the sequoia I’m used to at all
Great food, excellent service, and amazing art installations!
Food and service was great. Ambiance—terrible. Decor looked like a cheap Disney “contemporary” buffet restaurant. Literally the most unattractive and soulless vibes, flimsy pink and orange fabric/metal chairs, no discernible theme other than bright colors and... uniformly cheap looking. Server was wonderful and food was good. Just be warned—it wasn’t popular and possibly because it has no ambiance.
I was not happy with the hostess. They were rude and dismissive.
We went for brunch. The French Toast was outstanding..
