Great! Just greeat!
I freakin LOVE this spot...amazing food..DOPE atmosphere AND it sits on the water...awesome view on an awesome day. Myself and my lady definitely enjoyed!
Great Atmosphere. Great Service. Great Food !
Sequoia has really stepped up their game in the last year or so. I don’t often come here during the winter but we were celebrating a friends birthday. Staff was friendly and professional. Service was on point, so was the food. How everything stayed so fresh and delicious at a buffet is beyond me. It definitely gets pretty packed so come early to avoid the crowd. A must try!!
This was my fifth time attending your brunch and my girlfriends first time. She enjoyed it and has asked when we can return for a nice dinner.
Always a great time at Sequoia. Staff is always kind, friendly, and professional. Food was seasoned to perfection and fresh, per usual. Always a pleasure
Love Sequoia tapas brunch for celebrations. They offer a “Frose” which is pretty and delicious. In addition, they have several other all you can drink brunch drinks included in the price. Saturday tapas includes yummy items like French toast, chicken and waffles, salmon toast and a good variety of options that aren’t all breakfast food. To add to your experience, ask to sit in Freddy’s or Carlos’ sections. They are both excellent at their jobs and will take very good care of you.
Had a Wonderful time
Awesome Saturday brunch. Tapas style with drinks included. Only downside is the tables are a little close together, so you can hear everyones conversation around you, but other that that an amazing experience.
This was a great choice for Valentines Day!
Great service and ambience. We had a late night reservation, we understand the pre fix menu but it was too much for us , we would have preferred three course menu or just a drinks and dessert menu.
Overall great experience, thanks for making it special.
The experience was wonderful. Definitely going back
Wasn’t happy with the options on Valentine’s Day pre fixe menu
Sequoia for Valentine's was incredible!
Sequoia made it such a special night for us. Host staff was lovely and friendly upon arrival. They were able to accommodate our request to be by a window. Our server, Fon, took such great care of us. The five course dinner went on such a perfect flow. Each course was delicious as well. We loved our halibut and the surf n turf. Also the touch of the violinist was very thoughtful. Thank you for making the special night so memorable.
Food was amazing but the cost was way too pricey for an hour brunch because we had to wait to be seated. Overall quality if the food was good but to spend $75 for brunch is overpriced.
Came here for Sunday brunch for my friend’s birthday. Our server Andy made the experience amazing!
I enjoyed the Sunday Brunch. Everything was spectacular. I can not wait to return.
I say upfront, this is not your normal brunch, nor it is your normal price. But the old saying goes, you get what you pay for and you definitely get a lot. So if you cant find a large number of items to satisfy your hunger, then I feel for you. From the waffles, omelets, bacon/sausage, soups, fried chicken, seafood, sushi, salads and dessert bar, we had a hard time walking out of the place. Well worth the money but here's a hint, make reservations.
Absolutely! I went with my girlfriend who was visiting from out of town to have brunch. She loved everything. The champagne brunch and all you can eat was perfect. The dessert bar was amazing and as always the view is picture perfect. I would definitely recommend.
Our waiter was top-notch! He knew a ton of details about the menu and was super friendly. Atmosphere of the place was great, too!
Large variety of good food
Sunday brunch was great! Very busy...great food, but really crowded.
We thoroughly enjoyed Sequoia brunch. The service was excellent. The prime rib and crab cakes were to die for. It is also a beautiful walk along the Potomac to the Kennedy Center. The restaurant was a little noisy. Yes it was fully booked. Would highly recommend especially for a special occasion or party
For Sunday branch ($70 per person) which includes champagne, mimosa, or bloody mary you could not opt out alcohol if you don’t drink. Your option is to pay full price only and then it’s up to you drinking or not. Also, you could not substitute drinks for any others. Even with a big company don’t expect your included drinks to be on the table, waiters fill only one glass a time per person, and then you wait for some time to get another drink.
If you want nice coffee with your dessert like espresso, you pay extra.
Very expensive for average food. Nice location. Large food selection, but just average quality.
Our chairs at our table were dirty. The flowers on the table were dead. For the price you pay, they could make things a lot nicer.
Went for Sunday Brunch. The choices were vast and food was great. It was pricey at $60/pp but worth it if you got it.
Awesome anniversary at Sequoia. Thank you. Our server was amazing.
Pork chop was overcooked and dry. Salmon was excellent.
Elle was our server and she was great! Kept our table filled with delicious food, we were visiting and found this place online. It is exactly as pictured and the reviews are 100% correct! Good is delicious, presentation is great, ambiance is wonder and exactly as pictured. Highly recommend and will be back every time in in DC
Always enjoy the food and service. The wait time was minimum, and my request was granted to dine by the window near the area for food because of my disability.
We didn't get seated until almost 10 minutes after our reservation, and we were told that brunch ended at 2pm, so we felt like we were rushing to get food and drinks thinking that service for brunch would end at 2pm. After we rushed through it, we were annoyed to see that brunch service did not actually end then, and our brunch party was stressed because of what we thought was a short timeline.
It was also nearly impossible to wave down a waiter, I think I only got a refill twice during the entire brunch. I know you all are busy, but if you're paying a premium for the brunch, it would be nice to have our drinks refilled.
Lastly - the party next to us was LOUD, and I mean REALLY LOUD. It was almost as if their group was a part of our brunch party, and we had to yell over each other to talk. I'll be back if I'm with someone I don't need to have a deep conversation with, because it's nearly impossible to have even the most surface-level conversation if you're screaming at each other.
I'll remember our brunch as stressful and loud. I'll go somewhere else next time.
It was my birthday brunch and it was just as nice as it always is. Never disappointed. It’s pricey but well worth every penny.
I love the main food, but the dessert options to me were lacking. The dessert options needs to improve, offering: whole slices of cake, pies, cobblers, etc etc
My waiter and waitress were great. I think their names were Jared and Rachel! The fried chicken could have been more seasoned but all the other was great!
Best brunch in DC! The food was amazing and the ambiance was definitely something to see!
Service was exceptional , food was outstanding . My family and I will definitely be back.
