I can't wait to go back to Seoul Kitchen. I had extremely high expectations going in after seeing it featured on Phantom Gourmet a few months prior, and Seoul Kitchen still managed to exceed expectations. The food and cocktails were excellent. Our service was outstanding as well, Chantal was a wonderful waitress. She had our meal paced perfectly and followed up with us throughout our time there.
We started with dumplings, which were delicious, and we also tried the avocado bowl. I have been talking about, and thinking about, that avocado bowl all week and can't wait to get it again. It is an avocado shaped into a ball that is filled with spicy tuna, served on top of tortilla chips that are drizzled with eel sauce and spicy mayo. Absolutely unique and absolutely delicious.
For the entrees we got a delicious Hawaiian maki roll and the Bibim Bap with kimchi and pork. The Bibim Bap is a wonderful dish served in a stone pot that kept the contents hot for the duration of the meal. We typically don't do dessert but we split a fried ice cream which was delicious too.
It will be tough to order something different the next time we come visit, but we are definitely looking forward to coming back soon (and often). I can't recommend this place enough. We drove 30 minutes to get there, and it was well worth the drive.
