Seoul Garden
Celebrated my husband's birthday in Seoul Garden. Didn't know what to expect but everything was amazing! Our favorite was the Galbee. Servers are really nice and we even got free matcha ice cream! Highly recommended!
Service was great , but the food was nothing special and expensive
Great Korean BBQ, full and extensive menu, unfortunately the BBQ tables were full so we sat at a table where the food was prepared in the kitchen and brought to us. Quality of food was great, but I prefer to cook my own meat so each person can get the meat as well done or rare as they prefer. Not as extensive variety of banchan as I would like, but the 6 or so offered were all good. Kalbi and oyster jun were very flavorful. I would recommend. The next time we go, I hope to get a table with a BBQ.
Great food, very solid service. Thanks
The food was horrible- the meat was not marinaded well (if at all). The servers disappeared once we got our food. His recommendations were just to get the bill up. The portions were small for the price charged. Would not go there again.
While the portions were huge and there were many side dishes to choose from, service was not very good. After we finished eating, no one cleared our table. We sat with leftover raw meat on the table until we got up to leave. It was hard to get water refills. There are just too many other great Korean restaurants to choose from.
Overall it was a nice experience. We are a party of 10, that celebrated Fathers day. The meat that we ordered are pretty good. They give a lot of side dishes including lettuce. The service could improve a bit more by just remembering your customers request, because we have to ask them a couple of times for more tea, our rice and more sides.. I know it can get busy so I give them that, and at least at the end they each gave us a free green tea ice cream, so we are happy & full!
Mediocre food, OK deco and terrible service due to severe understaffing.
Went for a late dinner and there was only one, very inexperienced waitress who disappeared all the time.
The management should spend more money to employ more servers for dinner time when they charge $40 for a portion of beef rib BBQ which customers are expected to cook themselves at the table.
Overall, very disappointing experience.
Maybe it's OK for a quick, simple lunch but not for BBQ dinner.
Kevin, our waitor was awesome and really funny. There are so many reviews on here about this place having horrible service but it was great! They even grilled the meat for us. The food was yummy. And yes, maybe there are better, cheaper spots, but we were able to get a reservation for a table of 6 easily and that is worth the few extra bucks. We did one of the meat combos for 4 people and we ordered a few other appetizers and it was totally enough for the 6 of us.
The waiter will not get us the dessert (ice cream) even it's include in our dinner menu. He said they are too busy tonight and they won't serve us the dessert.
Arrived and was not checked and then reported to open table as a no show. Service was fine but brusque bordering on rude. Mediocre meal (bimbop at the mall is better). Tea was lovely however.
Dinner was delicious - we reached at 7.30 pm on Monday, 24th December and enjoyed our Korean BBQ dinner. Thanks.
Amazing food for the value and great service... thank you!
A group of 5 of us thoroughly enjoyed a dinner at one of the table with the open grilling. The food was fantastic as was the service from multiple people. Can't wait to go back.
The portion is unbelievably small - this pork belly costs 20+.
The waitress was not attentive at all.
We also ordered the Chicken Soup which in the photo it was whole chicken. But it turned out to be only half of a chicken.
The cuts of the meat aren't all that great, but the service us fantastic and the food is definitely tasty.
Classy setting for Korean BBQ. Food is good. Service was funky: waiter scooped off plate that I have not even tried yet - without asking. When we spilled tea by accident - we also ended up whiping it off, as waiter said No Problem and walked away. Odd.
Welcoming Management Service (Accommodating)
Food Ambiance Very Good
A lot of food
Environment Clean
It was a good date night.
Outstanding service and quality of Korean food!

Pleasant environment, OK food, poor service, very expensive
I wish I could be more enthusiastic about Seoul Garden, but it was quite a disappointment. The pluses: It was a pleasant environment, and the noise level was low, so it was a good place for a visit. The food was OK, but not special. Service was clueless and poor; although the restaurant was maybe 1/3 full, our waiter was neither knowledgeable nor attentive. What made me want to write this review was recalling how expensive it was for this very mediocre experience. A "Jun" pancacke - basically a kind of fritter - was $20; a 'fair' barbecue plate was $39 -
Sorry, but I can't recommend it
Seoul Garden? Seoul mediocre. High prices, slow service, bad food. You want more? They were out of the wine we ordered. The server announced that dessert would be green tea ice cream. Sounded nice, after a terrible dinner. She showed up with a half serving, for our party of 3, and said they were out of that flavor. Which could describe the meal. We had the BBQ Combo, at $100. Bland, dry beef that was an insult to the names "bul gogi" and "short ribs." No sauce, no flavor. Bul gogi is supposedly marinated, stir-fried and succulent; short ribs should be tender. These two dishes were military grade. And the bedding for them, and a sad version of pork belly and a so-so chicken dish, was a sprinkling of chopped raw onions and carrots. Yep. The same stuff under all 4 dishes. Mysterious little side dishes appeared, with no explanations. A noodle dish, like the chicken, was passable. Nothing else was. Also: It took 30 minutes to get our food, and it all came at the same time. And half of it was cold. If the restaurant was busy, some of this might be excusable, but we were the only guests in the front room, and our friend checked the back, and saw only two tables occupied. Still, the long wait, and then the deluge of disappointments. Total bill: $170, with wine, sake ($20), tax and tip. And when I got home, I got a note from Open Table saying we had not honored our reservation. Although I told the host (owner?) my name and our reservation time, he apparently didn't take notice. Must've been just too busy.
Terrible service. Smoke and splashing oil on your face during BBQ. Side dishes weren't great compared to other Korean places. It is extremely overpriced for the quality of food and experience.
My friend and I had "HOT POT" for dinner. It was full of vegetable, mushrooms, kimchee, tofu...and many other. It was spicy so we had to ask for water. They were pretty attentive. We only had to ask for water once. After that, they came over and check our glasses frequently.
this is a nice place for a group event. it is not recommended for all since they have almost no vegetarian options. it was very expensive with an average of 50 dollars per person. we were not familiar with Corean cousine so we went for the bbq tables where we cooked our own meats and they offered us combos which had a wide variety of meat cuts and different sauces.
Food was pretty good. Not the best I've had but decent.
What a gem we stumbled upon! We were visiting from out of town & wanted to celebrate my sister's birthday, & her first choice for cuisine was Korean BBQ. I am so happy I found Seoul Garden! My family & I immensely enjoyed our meal & experience there. We had wonderful service & delicious food. We sat at a barbecue table, & the entire restaurant was lovely.
Super korean bbq
Fantastic Korean restaurant! The food was amazing (had dolsot bibimbop) and the service was even better--very friendly, warm, inviting atmosphere. They served many more traditional appetizers than most Korean restaurants I've been to. Free tea came with the meal as well.
absurdly overpriced. the waiter tried to recommend an obscene amount of food, at $30-40 per order of meat. we ordered a third of that and were still shocked by the bill.
also, the waitstaff was not friendly.
This was our second visit to Seoul Garden. Food was good, but service was uneven.
Also, I told the host that we had a reservation, but I got an email the next day saying my reservation had been cancelled. So no points, I guess. Strange way to treat a customer.
I was there for my lunch break which was late at 1:30 p.m. and the place was quiet and the service gracious ... I enjoyed my meal in quiet which I like coming from work ... the food was great and I ordered more than I should so I had the rest for dinner ... grilled fish, yummy & spicy soup with lots of typical Korean condiments.
I went here with a friend from work. We had a great time: the staff was friendly, the meat was good quality, and the noise level was low enough that we didn't have to raise our voices to hear each other.
Food was very good. Spiced perfectly per my request. Food was fresh and main meal and many sides were all delicious.
The food is so so
Great place to introduce anyone to Korean cuisine, as well as for those familiar with it. Very group and family friendly.
Excellent Korean Kimchi pancake and side dishes.
The interior of this restaurant makes you feel as if you are in Korea, but unfortunately the "dolsot bibimbap" dish was only mediocre. The cast iron (dolsot) was only warm, not hot. Whenever I order this dish, I usually expect the food to arrive at the table sizzling. As a result, the rice did not continually cook to form the crust.
I reserved one of the private rooms with two tables with burners for a suprise birthday dinner for my Fiancée with a large group of friends. The staff was extremely attentive, the food was delicious, and the whole experience was fantastic. Our group of 14 had fun cooking on the burners and eating the restaurant's recommendations (the owner put together a great menu for us), and the bill didn't break the bank at the end of the evening (it was a pretty great value for such a large group). The ambiance was absolutely perfect; we may as well have been in the real Seoul, Korea. Highly recommend.
