    My boyfriend is Celiac, and it's such a relief to find a restaurant where he can eat anything on the menu without worries about cross contamination, and where we both genuinely enjoy the food tremendously. It's so common to find "gluten free" items that aren't, or GF restaurants where the quality is terrible. Senza Gluten avoids both of those pitfalls and also has a nice ambiance and good wine list. Save room for dessert - the tiramisu is a must!

    I love being able to walk in and order anything and everything from the menu. Even those without celiac or a gluten intolerance love the food. There’s a reason it’s always crowded - the food is delicious. Last night I had the arugala salad, lasagna, and panna cotta. Loved every bite.

    Small and loud. Food was bland and the pasta is not homemade. Wait staff is friendly. The kitchen didn’t make my dessert and I had to leave before they could make it once I reminder them that it never came out.

    Generally enjoyed the experience. The ambiance was good; however, we didn't really enjoy the meal. Perhaps it is the gluten-free nature of the food. We are not used to gluten-free food so that "WAS ON US".

    When we finished dinner and presented credit card the hostess came to apologize that internet just went down and credit card could not be used. This was horrible for non- US visitors.

    No cranberry sauce was the deal breaker for turkey, my second Thanksgiving in a row at this restaurant. I substituted chicken, which was slightly rubbery but if you closed your eyes you could imagine it was thickly-sliced turkey. The mashed potatoes and spinach that accompanied the fowl were delicious. My wife had penne, an upgrade from her usual gnocchi. The soup and salad were delightful. I finally sampled an APEROL SPRITZ, suggested by our tour guide in Florence about 6 years ago. It may become my new favorite cocktail. I should have stopped at one, though. The second was watered down. A nice touch was a candle in the panna cotta and Happy Birthday written on the plate. (My birthday was in their computer, since the waitress asked if I wanted a candle.) One thing I can't get used to is being told to use the QR code on the table with my phone. I did, but you have to scroll through far too many screens to get past the wines and cocktails. I gave up and complained to the waitress that I couldn't find the food. She said I simply hadn't scrolled far enough--or I could be handed a paper menu that wasn't as up to date. Next year, I'll take paper, please.

    $6 per glass for a Coke is ridiculous. Waitress reminded me about her tip 😳 Otherwise, food was excellent, but very pricey because it was gluten free.

    Lovely food, service was a bit slow, they do not accept debit and credit cards, need to be cash or Amex. Venue is a little out of the way if you are staying around Times square but is worth a visit. The calamari is the best I have ever had

    It's a little pricey and it's crowded as heck. But you know what, beyond that, everything else is exceptional. The service is so good. The manager (owner?) cares so much. The wait staff seem to love their jobs, even when rushed. And how that tiny kitchen can produce such amazing food for a full house is just pure magic! My daughter found this place and I'm so glad she did. I'd eat here again even though I don't have issues with gluten. The arancini were amazing. The calamari fritti was so good (and it was such a joy to see my daughter be able to have these dishes, too)! And then there's the pasta. Absolutely amazing. Nothing disappointed. It's tight quarters, but you'll still find that the meal is awesome!

    OMG such a great place. Food was exceptional and everything on the menu is gf. Went with friends that are not gf and they very pleased as well. They said they could not tell it was gf food. The staff and owner were great and friendly. A little pricey but hey it's NYC I will definitely return next time I'm in NYC

    The food was absolutely outstanding as was the service. We brought my 28 year old nephew who has celiac and high functioning autism. The wait staff could not have been more patient and attentive. We really appreciated the care and the food was beyond our expectations.

    This place is a dream for anyone with a gluten allergy or sensitivity. The food is absolutely delicious, staff is so wonderful and the space is really charming and cozy. My favorite dish is the chicken parmigiana, it’s a big portion and very very tasty.

    Absolutely amazing! My friend has celiacs and this place is perfection for anyone gluten intolerant but doesn't lack on flavor. The food was amazing and so delicious. Even the drinks and beer selection were gluten free. Highly recommend.

    Prices are definitely higher than average but you’re paying for the safety precautions and gluten free options. Staff was wonderful and the food was incredible. Definitely a special occasion meal.

    Absolutely delicious GF food, with a really well-put-together menu (including amazing desserts!). Waitress asked about other allergies and sensitivities (“besides gluten of course”) and was very knowledgeable about the whole menu. Service was a bit slow, but the ambiance was delightful and we enjoyed talking while waiting — it wasn’t a hardship. They were also very kind when we had to change the number of people in our reservation last minute (multiple times) and accommodated us. The gnocchi ai funghi was particularly delicious, and the bread basket was amazing (which sounds weird to point out, but I can never have bread at the table anywhere else, and it was so fluffy and delicious). The strawberry margarita was tasty and the risotto ai funghi was also good. The bruschetta was so well-received by the rest of the table that I didn’t even get to try any! :)

    If you're celiac, this is one of my favorite spots - in the world! It's like not even being allergic to gluten - you can have lasagna, you can have bread, you can have tiramisu! Just remember to bring your Amex or cash....

    I'm sorry...I've been here now like 4 times...it's really going south here. While I truly appreciate that Senza Gluten is gluten-free, you can't just live on your laurels. First..the restaurant just isn't clean...surfaces are just gross and sticky and the bathroom downstairs was flooded with water. I just sort of gave up....I had the chicken soup...and the gluten-free bread...tried a cocktail...returned it and after being able to hear every single word of the table next to me...I decided that was it. Next..if you are constantly hovering around monitoring me...it's not an enjoyable experience. I mean, seriously...as soon as I'm done do you have to swoop in like a hawk to get my plate? Lastly,....either tell everyone what your specials are, or no one. Do you honestly know how it feels to have all the other tables being told of their specials and you aren't? Lastly..and this a real issue with me. Don't say "Do you have any other allergies we should know about?" That's like asking someone with a twitch if they any other afflictions. Being "gluten free" doesn't mean you have an allergy to gluten. If you want to say "Should I share any preferences on ingredients, other than gluten,...of which we are of course proud to say we're fully gluten free at Senza Gluten.... with our chef tonight to perhaps improve your dining experience?" That's great. It's about me, my preferences, and it's a gracious gesture displaying "be our guest"...if I must pull a Beauty and the Beast reference out of the hat. Much appreciated.
