After being warmly greeted by Stephanie Bartender Ben served us up the works at the bar- We savored three types of oysters with a cold Lunch beer from Maine Brewing Company. Moved into the Blue crab salad and grilled cauliflower romanesco. All dishes served quick and the ideal chilled temperature for out maximum enjoyment. The team at Select are PRO’s !

The food was quite good; however, I was deeply disappointed with the service. I had made a reservation well in advance for my wife and me, noting that it was a special occasion—our wedding anniversary. Despite this, when we arrived, we were made to wait for 30 to 40 minutes and were seated at a very small table by the window. This raises the question: why bother making a reservation at all, especially one secured with a credit card deposit? What made the experience even more disheartening was that, despite my note about the occasion, there was no acknowledgment or gesture from the staff throughout the evening. As someone who has lived in Boston for 20 years and traveled extensively, this was one of the most underwhelming dining experiences I’ve had at a restaurant of this caliber. A bit more attention and care would have made a world of difference.

Food was awful and service choppy. Food came wrong and at different times so we had to wait 7 minutes for our friends entree to come and then ours was cold. Fish tasteless. So disappointing

One of the best dinners we’ve ever had. Mainly ordered of the happy hour menu: dozen oysters, salmon crudo, white anchovies toast, Spanish octopus. We also got the beet salad which was a perfect blend of flavors. My mom ordered an old fashioned and claimed it was one of the best she’s ever had. Absolutely amazing dinner.
