Seito Sushi Ratings and Reviews
Great food and Service. We were in Orlando for a conference and decided we wanted sushi. The place we went to on our last visit was out of business, so we found this one. We were not disappointed. We have the garlic lime edamame, but not too garlicky. Lots of rolls! The Ultimate Spicy tuna roll was exactly that, the most spicy roll I've eaten. All were delicious.
We had two young ladies as servers ; they were very efficient and SO pleasant, even with the place being packed and very noisy. WE would definitely go back again next time in Orlando.
We have made our reservation through opentable and it was very smooth and user friendly. I have also called to make sure everything is in order and the lady answered the phone was very polite and nice.
The service is terrible, I think being at the "one time vacationer" area, the restaurant has no desire to provide any service. The occasion was family dinner of four and the waiter has been at table twice. He even said sorry he is backed up but that shall not be the customers problem. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone at all. It is extremely poor service, stay away if you do not want your stress to overcome the taste and joy of the food and evening. There are other places around that they will appreciate your business and give a service as expected.
Normally they do a great job. Tonight they appeared to be understaffed. Food arrived at different times. Order was wrong with parts of the meal showing up late into the meal. The server didn’t check on the table much so we were without necessary utensils for part of the meal. I was in a rush to leave after the bad experience and then realized that I overpaid because they didn’t charge the happy hour pricing that should have applied and they charged for items that we did not receive. The food was good however.
Seito Sushi one of the most go places to dine when I travel to Orlando. It is probably the best sushi I've had and yesterday they were great. While our server was not very warm or friendly, she did serve us well and the food was just excellent. For appetizers we had the crispy sushi rice with tuna and the short ribs, simply to die for. The sushi was outstanding, as always. For dessert the fried cheesecake is superb!
Our first visit to Seito following recommendation from friends. We happened to arrive during "happy hour" and took advantage of both $2 off most popular sushi rolls and discount on draft beers. The sushi rolls were all great, especially the Gentlemen's roll, Ultra Spicy and the Crunchy Tempura rolls. In all, we had 6 rolls and enjoyed them as very fresh and flavorful fish.
The bread pudding and tempura cheesecake were also good selections for desserts.
Recommend this sushi site highly. Give them a try.
The first time was an outstanding experience. The server was OUTSTANDING and the food incredible. The second experience was not so good. The food was still incredible but the server was either not a great server or having a bad day. One person asked for a sample of the yakatori seasoning and she said we cannot do that, which is ridiculous because it's a sauce. She could have brought some over in a saucer. Another person had an issue with the bill and she was not very pleasant. It was corrected by a manager and the restaurant's computer system was wrong.
