Wonderful as always.
The server was working alone and doing a wonderful job. The food is fresh, recipes are tasty and varied and it is convenient and inexpensive. What a find!
My new favorite spot to come to. Great view and AMAZING food. The miso soup is everything during a freezing day!
The service is always Amazing! Food is fresh and quick!
Food was delicious and the servers were so sweet, attentive, and had recommendations on where I could go for dessert since I wasn’t interested in what they had to offer. I will definitely be back!
Girlfriend date for two, perfect. Waitresses were very lovely and welcoming even though my guest arrived late 30 mins before closing, they still serviced us as normal. I give 4 because I just wish the ambience, look was upgraded a bit because the food is awesome.
Came on Valentine's Day, so we expected slow service. However, it took 20+ minutes just to acknowledge that we had been seated and to bring over water. I think the staff was just overwhelmed by the # of customers, as the food was amazing, but everything took forever to come out and/or came out in the wrong order (got our soup after our sushi).
Overall, the food will bring us back because we think the service issues were due to Valentine's Day.
Food was very good and flavorful, at a reasonable price. Lots of menu choices. Service was good but got slower once the restaurant got busy. But polite and responsive staff. Nice ambience, close seating, decent noise level. Went there for Valentine’s Day and it was an enjoyable evening capped off with a red rose that came with the bill. My wife appreciated that - nice touch. Overall, an excellent experience.
I loved this place! Amazing sushi at a great price. Our waitress, Kelly, was a doll and so nice - highly recommend!
This place is a hidden gem. The food is excellent and provides some interesting twists on Japanese classics. The servers are so friendly- they really seem to be happy that you are enjoying the food and your dining experience.
The cons are that the restaurant is very small and therefore somewhat noisy. This is my second time eating here and my husband and I found that it was somewhat quieter sitting in the back. We literally stuffed ourselves with 2 or 3 courses each and the bill was $50. Try doing that anywhere else in Philly. It is a BYOB so that keeps the costs down as well
Only the best experience I have ever had.
Loved it! Service and sushi were excellent. Highly recommend and hope to be able to dine again soon.
I love Seiko they never disappoint 😍😘 The food was delicious, the staff was friendly as always.
This place is great! My boyfriend had the beef bolgokee and he can’t stop talking about how good it was. I had the spicy tuna, bagel, and shrimp tempura rolls and they were delicious! Super good food and inexpensive! The servers were all very nice and bubbly. Love that they are a byob. We will definitely be back
Always a great experience. The staff is very nice and food is excellent.
Wonderful food, great service! Will definitely be going back!
The staff was absolutely amazing! Probably in the top 3 best sushi I’ve ever had. Will definitely be back!!!!
Went for new years and the wait staff seemed unprepared for a busy night but the food was very good. Sat downstairs in the cellar which didn’t have a great ambience, but overall it was very good and i will be going back (when it’s less crazy)
Friendly staff, delicious food. Great neighborhood find.
Always a good time here. Fresh ingredients and great service, every time!
Our dinner experience was amazing. From the seaweed salmon skin salad to the Salmon dumplings and a very tasty dessert green tea cheesecake. I will definitely come back!!!
I love Seiko - great sushi, modern cozy atmosphere and it’s byob. My go-to items: Salmon Skin Salad, Northern Liberties, Super White Tuna, Alaskan. And like 10 more things. I also order delivery 2x/ month from Fishtown. Deliver is always under 45 mins.
The food was great and the service was even better
The food was outstanding!!! And the waitress was so lovely. We will definitely be returning!
Love the Northern Liberties area so decided to try Seiko! Beyond pleasantly surprised with our experience. The wait staff were so professional, pleasant and fun! The Chef and Owner- Simply Awesome!! Everyone was so personable which made my brother’s birthday outing a memorable one. And they even threw in a dessert birthday plate and Saki to boot! Food and dessert was to die for- absolutely yummo! I can’t sing the praises of this restaurant high enough! Can’t wait to return! #LoveSeiko
The staff is courteous and attentive !! The sushi is wonderfully delicious with so many choices we could of stay all night. Bring your appetite or if you want an quick snack. It's All Good
We had a wonderful time for Valentine’s Day they really went all out until care of us
Service was great! It was quiet around 5pm on a Saturday, but once the crowd came in the noise got a tad bit overwhelming for conversation. The food was really good. Their veggie tempura is perfect. The veggie dumplings (fried) are crispy and packed with flavor. The seating is a little tight but that's pretty common in Philly. I'd go again.
We were heading to the Fillmore for a concert and we found this spot via our searches since it was nearby the venue. Cool, hip little spot that serves really good sushi and other Japanese fare. The group got a few different sushi rolls, edamame, gyoza, and nigiri sushi and all were very well prepared and tasty. I got the shrimp tempura udon noodle soup and it was definitely one of the better bowls of udon noodle soup I've had in the states.
Prices were reasonable especially for the city and the service was very friendly and prompt. I would recommend this spot to any of my friends.
I was surprised that this restaurant had 4.5 star ratings on Open Table. I went here for my birthday as I needed to book a restaurant very late for a last-minute change of plans. The service was great but I was very disappointed by the food. The fish was not as fresh as I'd like. For cheap sushi, this works but this was not what I had in mind for my birthday or a very high rating. Our waitress was awesome though!
We were looking for a sushi place that we could walk to/in our neighborhood. Seiko was the perfect spot. Everything we ordered was delicious and we didn't have any leftovers. We definitely would recommend this place to anyone.
Fabulous and so fresh and tasty with wonderful attentive service!!! A true gem!
It's always great food and service! That's why I always come back and recommend family & friends
Good food, good service, accommodating even with small last-minute changes in reservation, good/comparable value in price of food, several vegetarian options, BYOB, street parking in front of restaurant on 2nd St on a Saturday night and some parking on Green St that is 2 hours until 6:30PM. Nice walkable neighborhood on 2nd St. Logistically very convenient. First floor bathroom looks wheelchair accessible for lateral transfers. Downstairs has karaoke space and more private dining space with bathroom down there.
Excellent sushi! Best in the city!!!! They give you good amount of fish, not cheap with more rice than fish! Great local atmosphere.
The food is inexpensive. Cooked dishes were done well but the sushi did not taste great. Somewhat not fresh. The service was decent. And the BYOB option was great.
The rolls were too big and not appetizing. There was too much sauces and you couldn't really taste the fish. Very disappointed.
